Tyria Pride 2024 is coming June 22 and 23!
Hello one and all! Tyria Pride is returning to Tyria for the 9th time! Join us any time next Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, on both EU and NA for an awesome event that takes us all the way from Ebonhawke to Rata Sum, while we raise money for a good cause!

What is Tyria Pride?
Tyria Pride is a two-day in-game pride march from one corner of (core) Tyria to the other to show support both LGBTQ players and devs, and a fundraiser for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation which helps queer people escape state-sponsored persecution and violence around the world.
It's tons of fun every year, a ton of streamers join in so there are many ways to follow along even if you're not in game, music guilds hold concerts, and we have some pretty legendary giveaways! It's always blast!

Fundraiser
Rainbow Railroad is a non-profit that helps LGBTQ+ people get to safety from countries where their lives are at risk. They've done tons of work all over the world, working tirelessly in places like Russia and Afghanistan, and have already sprung into action as a response to the death penalty laws in Uganda, where you could even get up to 10 years in prison if you don't tell the police your child is gay. Rainbow Railroad works tirelessly to save lives, and we're honored to support them in this cause!

So! You've heard of wizards and their spell books, but have you heard of wizards making themselves into a spell book? Yitu is a rune specialist and tattoo artist who has absolutely covered himself in spells. He's a base mesmer at his core, but through crafting inks with alchemy and his study of runes, he enables himself to cast a wide array of spells he really shouldn't have any business having. So long as said spells have juice, of course.

GW2 textiles appreciation post!
I gathered many textures from gw2 to show case how amazing and cool the details in textiles are, the details, patterns. All of this has been done so good :3
Starting with main cities:
Black Citadel - Charr use fur for carpets but in some places they have fabric here and there.
Divinity's Reach - Humans have lot's of tents and banners, a lot of reds appear.
Hoalbrak - Norn's have two banners/ tapestries and a whole two carpet designs, lots of elements have fur/ skin around tho.
Rata Sum - Not much better than Norn's they lack more patterns.
The grove I skipped since there is not much there except plants.
I'll continue with expansions in a reblog :3

Dulcis the Golden! (they/them) A sylvari born with their heart exposed and dripping gold. The golden sap is said to taste like heaven and has caused people to be extremely possessive of Dulcis in the past.
One such incident led to their heart being ripped out.
Too bad that causes them to create a lethal toxin instead :)
