I know we all like to talk about Kirk grabbing Spock's arms in the "not in front of the klingons" scene and how it's something he normally does before kissing people but like, can we talk about how Spock does the same to Kirk at the end of Amok Time because I for one cannot stop thinking about it.

Like, what were you going to do there Spock? Were you going to finally do with your captain what you know he's done with all those people who you wished were you?? Were you going to grab your captain by the arms and kiss him on the lips in an expression of pure, illogical, unvulcan joy and love??? Did seeing this man alive fill you with so much relief and elation and oh so human affection that you couldn't help but mirror what he would do if put in your position with someone he loved as much as you do him???? Gay.

You know why I love Feysand? One of the reasons is because there's a balance between them. In a way they complete each other.

Feyre is all forgiveness, love and a pleaser.

But Rhysand on the other hand is all revenge, hate and never forget.

Whenever he's drowning in hatred for himself, for people who wronged his loved ones, she's there to pull him up and shower him with love, respect and reminding him of goodness.

And whenever she is being too forgiving to the point she's forgetting herself or to put herself first, he's there to bring justice and be a shield for her from the injustice of it all.

That's why this is one of my favorite scene of them:

He's saying he can't forgive anyone who wronged her. But she remembers the ones who wronged him and notices he doesn't care about himself, his hatred for himself won't allow it.

She's saying he has to forgive at some point. He's there to remind her that maybe it's okay to admit that some people have made her suffer.

It's this back and forth between them. It balances them.

He's always self sacrificing himself to keep his loved ones safe, to make them comfortable, to be a shield. And Feyre came to his life, saw right throw all of them and let him to burden her with some of those duties he put himself up for them.

Sometimes it's a wrong trait but it's never out of malice.

And she is always too forgiving, putting everyone else first, always backing down when some times she needs to back up for herself and she let herself to forget them. But he won't, he will remember, he'll defend her if it's needed and when someone crosses a line, he's there to remind them to back down.

Sometimes she let people take too much from her and it might hurt her in the process. A wrong trait of her.

They're the definition of "I will give my love for the both of us" and "I will give my hatred for the both of us"... does that make sense?

I have always admired people who could write one fic or draw a comic for years because I am living in a constant fear of not finishing what I have started. Not in a 'maybe something terrible will happen to me' way, but simply knowing myself and that after a couple of months or years, I will catch a new fixation and finishing the old story will become hard. And yeah sure, I have heard people say "You don't have to finish if it doesn't interest you anymore" or "It's your art and you decide what it will be about" and I fully agree, but I still love those old things I came up with you know? I still love these characters and I want their stories to be told, but at the same time there already are new characters with new stories in my head and I want to tell them too.

#i may or may not be talking about the whole big sherlock holmes plot following my college adventures comic i came up with at some point #that goes through the whole series and dives DEEP into the holmes/watson topic and believe me this is so much more tangled and nuanced #than holmes/trevor one i came up with (and i feel like this one is already easy to misunderstand)#and yet i have the disco elysium comic that i love so much but i have trouble drawing it lately #mostly because i fell out of the fandom loop a bit and also i have written the plot a long time ago and some things I'd do differently now #but I gotta stick to the things I have already drawn or it'd be inconsistent #AGGHHGASHAKJSFJJSAJJJKK please someone release me from this hell #why does my brain not let me just. enjoy the things that i enjoy #why there always has to be an additional layer of distress to everything #rant #(it's okay to reblog tho)#conversations with the void

I think albw implied that albw Zelda was the descendant of alttp zelink, since the painting of them embracing in the castle implies they got married. So if they did something like that for wild zelink I'd go crazy. Would never happen, but imagine a statue of wild zelink somewhere in the next future hyrule. Or some book or painting. Or some offhand mention about a great hero from the past in the royal family that the next zelda looks up to or something similar that's juuust vague enough.

Knowing me though, all they would have to do is give the next zelda some vaguely wild zelink traits in her design/hobbies and I'd still get deranged about it. They so much as give her blue eyes and I'm gonna be like "that's my granddaughter right there"

Anon are we the same person?? Because I’ve had those exact thoughts too! Like I also would go absolutely feral if we got any kind of vague hint or Easter eggs. Probably unlikely, like you said, but hey, you never know! These games are always chock full of easter eggs and vague mentions of past characters so, fingers crossed 🤞🏻.

And yes, it would be awesome and I’d also get deranged if the next Zelda had any vague traits of wild Zelink, like if she was a geek with a huge appetite or something. But I’m getting ahead of myself lol.

i do think. just in general that it's rude to leave comments on artwork of an au saying something like "oh lol this doesn't actually fit right bc of this detail" I do think that's rude. like maybe don't fucking do that. it makes you look like a dick

#at least this person didn't cut out my url lmaoooooooo #i have to thank these people for the bare minimum it seems #sighhhhhh #these people are lucky i actually enjoy making gifs cause i would have stopped ages ago thanks to them #i know it's not that deep but like... it *is* discouraging #worst thing is knowing they come to tumblr just for this. they look for gifs in order to repost them on twt #they won't even reblog your creations on their blogs they are just here to steal and get RTs and likes on that website #it's just surrealistic #and some at least have the 'decency' to leave your watermark intact #cause i've seen it MANY TIMES ppl straight up removing it #thinking we the gifmakers won't notice 😭 girl i would recognize my gifs ANYWHERE #and not just mine. every FF7 gifmaker's gifs in fact #you repost from any of us and i'll notice. hope this helps
