Elain Archeron is on her way to visit her sister, the newly crowned queen of Prythian. With no romantic prospects and a new inheritance of all of her parents' land and most of their wealth, Elain wants nothing more than to lead a quiet life where she's finally in charge of her own destiny.
Upon her arrival, King Rhysand appoints his highest ranking knight, Sir Azriel, as her royal guard and chaperone. She thinks he's a brute and is appalled at the idea of someone following her around everywhere she wishes to go during her stay. He finds her spoiled and can think of a thousand different ways to better spend his time.

I couldn't care less about most of the ACOTAR side characters but if there are two people whose story I would absolutely devour, it would be Kallias and Viviane. The way they were friends before lovers. The way she defended and protected his Court while he was gone. The way he reached out to her with his last shred of power to tell her he loved her before going UTM. The way she immediately kissed him when he winnowed back to her after 50 years. The way he immediately proposed to her and they were married an hour later, and THEN found out they were mates. THIS is the side story I'm interested in.

On the off chance that anyone follows my work on here, I promise a new chapter of A Court of Fate and Foresight is coming within the next few days.
I've been coping with a major loss in my life over the past couple months, and have just needed some time away from writing something so heavy.
(Have also spent the time writing something much more lighthearted and fun, see it on my AO3 if you haven't already and if you love Elriel <3)
Anyways, acofaf is truly is so dear to me and I'm almost done this latest chapter so I'm excited to share with anyone who is still keeping up and who enjoys my work <333 I am so grateful for the support I have received from this community. It's the first time I've ever shared my writing publicly and It's helped me so much more in the past little while than I can even say.
