Evan loves stars and space, so. Hc that Evan once drew a redesign of Freddy: the bear had black and blue and purple gradient swirls across its fur and was covered in glitter and stars, some of which the bear would peel off its fur and give to kids as gifts like the star stickers Evan's teachers would give out, and the bear had a bright cheery yellow top hat and bow tie.

Evan excitedly showed this Freddy redesign to William, but William only brushed Evan off. It crushed Evan that William didn't like and barely even looked at the design.

Except, William DID look at the design. And when William was making the nightmare animatronics to torment Evan, he made one based off of Evan’s drawing.

Crying Child lives au where Mike and Friends not only make Evan a part of the friend group but make him Leader of the friend group and do literally whatever he says to make up for what they did.

Evan isn't sure what to make of it at first but he does slowly warm up to it, leading to him to do things like

Have Mike and Friends play pretend with him

Playing with plushies together

Evan getting upset when William won't let him have a dog, and thus asking that someone in the friend group pretends to be a dog for him (this position ofc gets thrusts onto the Pushover of the friend group)

Evan asking them to do increasingly embarassing (but not, like, actually harmful) things

Except also the friend group is EXTREMELY chaotic and will take his requests too literally sometimes to make him laugh. Also sometimes Evan will mention that he wants some toy/candy/clothes and the gang will shoplift it for him and Evan will be like NO THAT'S NOT OKAY! THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!

heyyyy, soooo, officially deciding that I can't really do this to myself anymore and need to give up tumblr

I won't delete my blog, so you can guys can still keep looking through all my old posts and stuff, but I'm logging off pretty much as soon as I post this and won't be logging on again. Sorry, but any asks in my askbox or messages to my dms are gonna be left unanswered.

i think i might be aplatonic. or mentally ill. not sure.

so i like. don't know what's wrong with me anymore.

it's not that i don't WANT friends. i watch media romanticizing found family and the power of friendship all the time, since forever. i long to have what those characters have.

but i just... i don't seem capable of making/maintaining/appreciating friendships.

i feel incapable of viewing people as friends rather than someone playing the role of friend and as such giving me all kinds of friendship benefits

every second of every day, I feel unappreciated, undervalued, and unlistened to, and I take it out on people and punish them for it in all kinds of little ways

i know it's wrong. i feel guilty for it, at least a little bit. i still do it anyway. even when I stop myself, the urge is still there

i take every little thing that the people around me do and spin it in my head so I think they hate me, they don't care about me, they're clearly not listening to me or valuing anything I have to offer

i don't know enough aplatonicism to know if these are signs of it. i thought at first that it was just elements of my lovelessness shining through, but lovelessness doesn't explain this at all

Raising to u the idea of avian Garrett trying to put orange paint on his wings to match his plane, and his parents and/or Mike immediately panicking that he'll hurt himself (plug up his oil glands, damage his feathers, injest paint, etc etc) and helping him get all the paint off when Garrett realizes having all that paint on his wings is super uncomfortable

He keeps them for a bit though, and he kidnaps Garrett, but Evan ends up accidentally stumbles upon Garrett and befriends Garry in secret while trying to understand what is happening and why Garrett is being kept there by his father

grab&go Mike Afton fucking hating Mike Smith for the way he raised Evan, but like. As much as Mike Afton wants to cut Mike Smith out of his and Evan's lives entirely... Mike Afton has spent years grieving his little brother after Evan went missing, spent years wondering what Evan would have been like as he grew up, how Ev would have felt turning 13 and being a teen for the first time, etc etc.

And thanks to the fucked up time travel mess that happened, Mike Afton does get to watch Evan grow up now, but there's so many years of Evan's that he missed.

And the only access Mike Afton has to those years he missed is Mike Smith.

Mike Smith is the one with pictures of Evan as a seven-year-old, or a nine-year-old, or a twelve-year-old-- all those ages that Mike Afton missed.

Mike Smith is the one with pictures of Evan's birthday parties, of all those christmases, all the smiling pictures of little Evan in pillow forts, all the hidden and sneakily taken pictures of little Evan looking so adorable napping with his plushie, all those memories that Mike Afton never got to have no matter how much he longed for.

Mike Smith is the one with all of Evan's old toys, the toys Mike Afton never got to know.

Mike Afton hates his alternate counterpart for what he did. But this alternate counterpart is also the only connection he has to the memories Evan doesn't trust himself to remember or say out loud.
