Wedgwood Jasperware ER collection was issued in 1953 for Her Majesty’s Coronation, and has continued on for other special events such as her Silver Jubilee.
Many items such as tea sets and various pieces of dinnerware comprise the collection; but there are also inspiring commemorative plates, tabletop cigarette lighters, ashtrays, and this gorgeous cigarette box.
Most beautiful of all is Her Majesty herself in her Wedgwood inspired ensemble which she wore for the final day of Royal Ascot. She truly is a Worldwide treasure, held even more dear than even Wedgwood fine china!

god, EVERY YEAR one of the local churches puts up a big sign that says “HE IS RISEN”, and EVERY YEAR whenever I see it I just think “OH HE IS, IS HE??? WELL IF HE IS RISEN THEN HE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED AT MY SEDER, LEAVENED MESSIAHS ARE NOT KOSHER FOR PASSOVER!!!”
