since i made this post people have tried to argue on it in some really disgusting ways honestly and it's shown me that a lot of you don't actually care about protecting your community. in the meantime emily is still begging just to get by every moth. they have a place now but are always short on money for rides, meds, rent, and other bills.

Unpopular opinion: we should all wear masks as much as possible. Forever.

Immuno compromised people were in danger long before 2019. How many people could we have saved, just by masking?

Seriously. Disabled people deserve to live without fear.

We never know if we're carrying a disease or not, since most symptoms only show up after we're contagious.

Very useful in a world with cameras everywhere.

Even if your masking is not perfect, it is still better than nothing. Every step, even the smallest ones, is another layer of protection for immuno compromised people.

Wouldn't it feel good to save a life by doing something so simple?

She deactivated due to the harassment and has stated that she won't come back

On March 8th: roadhogsbigbelly (who accused txttletale [January 10th] and Gretchen Felker-Martin [February 1st] of being pedophiles) doubled down several times while arguing with different people about "not misgendering" a trans girl (after vagueing her), while misgendering her multiple times

This happens every week

Almost every single week there is a new callout, a new harassment campaign, new anons spreading rumours/misinformation, and more people comfortably vagueing and misgendering trans women

hi, i know i’ve made dono posts before and i’m sorry to ask for money once again. my older sister financially abuses me heavily, often making me pay for entire bills on my own when she has two teenage children in the house. she forces me to split bills 50/50, when i get paid pretty much half the amount she does. i got a raise recently, but she forced me to foot an entire 100 bill, so my funds were depleted entirely.

i am on food stamps, but it’s never enough because her children eat my groceries often .

i am in the process of getting ready to move in with a friend in a different state. but until then, i need to get to my job and afford groceries and get supplies to keep my dog safe . ( i need to get her a muzzle, a collar, and a new leash. ) i only have her because my dad passed away and left me her.

Every time I talk about how Dungeons & Dragons as a culture of play (i.e., as distinct from any particular published iteration of the game called Dungeons & Dragons) tends to put the GM in the position of doing all the actual work of making the game happen, and how the idea that only the GM has any responsibility for understanding and carrying out the rules is a big part of this, I always get jokers going "well ACTUALLY that's not true because I don't use the rules as written when I run games – I just make up the mechanics as I go."

Buddy, the notion that inventing a whole new game on the fly to suit the exact preferences of the group is an entry-level skill that ought to be expected – even demanded! – of any GM, regardless of their experience level, is itself an expression of the idea that responsibility for understanding and carrying out the rules rests solely with the GM.

Like, there's a reason D&D as a culture of play thinks it's normal for GMs to be miserably overworked and treats GM burnout as a funny joke; if it didn't, we'd have to acknowledge that something is askew.
