AN INSIGHT ON CSK'S BUYS IN THE AUCTION:-
The kings are back in their fortress,Chennai in the quest to clinch their 4th title.Hope the dash Government doesn't politicse cricket like they previously did.Ok,let's get back to the auction details...As they say good teams seldom change their teams,Csk retained almost all their players which was a really calculated move. They got back Mohit Sharma whom they had helped in nurturing in the past. And buying Ruturaj Gaikwad for 5 lakhs was really economical. The one minus was that Csk released Mark Wood who could trouble batsmen with his pace and bounce.Csk don't have an express fast bowler.Instead of spending 5 lakhs on an uncapped player, they could have gone in for a left arm chinaman bowler.A left right opening combination would be good to see.Vijay isn't having the best of times and dropping Vijay isn't a bad idea.Giving Suresh Raina the opening position isn't a bad idea. The middle order is quite stable with Sam Billings,Msd and Dwayne Bravo. And Lungi Ngidi and Dwayne Bravo are the best in the death. And there are 2 keepers other than Dhoni:Jagadeesan and Billings. So,Dhoni can flex his arms when he wants.
Okay, sign off for now.Hope Csk don't win this ipl;coz I am a Mumbai fan.Lol,anyways waiting for the csk vs mi match on 20th April in Chennai.Ok guys don't waste ur time in booking the tickets coz it's gonna be an entertaining encounter.

A pinnacle of evolution!!!
Practically the end of his career...Downfall for him...The pundits and the critics were going face to face with him...He just scored 134 runs in 5 tests...Ok...At present he is the world's number 1 batsman...Right,let me not hold the suspense for too long...He is none other than the Indian skipper,Virat Kohli...Okay what's the present scenario???Kohli scored 593 runs in the 2018 series with an insane average of 59.3.Man of the series with 2 centuries and 3 fifties...What was the reason for this transition???The England pitches expose a batsman's ability to play the moving ball...Dravid succeeded in his last series in England while Sachin failed miserably in his last...It is very rare for an Indian player to succeed in a series in England and that was the case with Kohli...Okay,let's analyse the reasons for this...The England series exposed his weakness against the outswinging ball...Anderson and Broad exploited him by bowling deliveries that swung late and squared him up...The boon in this was that he was exposed to all this in an earlier stage of his career...And Kohli did the right thing by approaching Sachin at the end of the Eng series...Sachin told Kohli not to worry about his technique and told him to face a pacer like a spinner (ie)not worry about the deviation and pace of the ball...During the 2014 England series,Kohli had an inclined back foot stance which was more suitable to play inswingers...
The width of the hiplines was greater in the 2014 series and this made it difficult to play the outswinger...And another problem was his mindset,he was expecting inswingers and he got committed to the ball and opened up and this led to him getting squared up...And the last thing was that he played the ball with hard hands and this led to the ball taking his outside edge quite often...
Now,it's a different story...Kohli hasn't even given his wicket once to Anderson in the entire series...Recently,Kohli also scored a masterclass century in Adelaide...I think that he will overtake Sachin's record of hundred tons in International cricket...Wishing him all the laurels in life...Hoping for a Kohli special in the 3rd test too...

Usman Khawaja:The story of a man who fought against all odds.
Usman Khawaja popularly known as Uzzie Khawaja was born on 18th December 1986 in Islamabad.U guys might be thinking why the hell are u talking about an Australian Cricketer when u are an Indian but there's a reason for this.U will understand the reason only when u finish reading this article. His father Tariq Khawaja migrated to Australia for his children to explore greater avenues in sports. He was exposed to the vulgarities of racism.Once he also said that one of the parents had called him a black in his earshot. He said that this discrimination was the force that gave him the hunger to succeed. He was also a firm believer in god and as they say prayers bring victory,he is one of the best batsmen in the Australian test line-up and had a golden touch against the Pakistanis in U.A.E.Life wasn't a cakewalk for Khawaja. He was in and out of the team.Okay, let me tell u something interesting,I once happened to meet Mr.Khawaja at the M.A.Chidambaram stadium when i went for the state trials,he was the skipper of Australia A at that time.I was really privileged to get his autograph. He was really humble and polite when he spoke.I seriously fell in love with his attitude. And guys filmmaking is my other love.I would like to take a biopic on him when I grow up...Ok guys jokes apart let me come to the serious part.
This man has magic in his bat.His batting flair was awesome. He was awarded Player of the Australian Under 19 Championship in 2005.Three years post that,he achieved an amazing feat which no one had ever achieved. What was it???Hmmm...Ok I don't wanna make u guys wait for long.I will reveal it myself. He scored consecutive double centuries for Nsw.Ok,so what did the selectors do???They obviously called him to the national team...He was called for the test series against Pakistan his country of birth but he unfortunately didn't play.Hmmm...So,what happened next???He disappeared from the arena for a year...Then he came back in 2011...His performance didn't match up to his talent...But there were a couple of good knocks...But the selectors didn't have the magnanimity to appreciate those knocks...His consistent performances for Sydney Thunder and his State team weren't sufficient enough to earn him a call up...I still remember the innings of 104 Khawaja played against the Strikers in the semi-final of Big Bash 2016...He was also the 2nd highest run getter in spite of not playing most of the matches on account of national duty...He gained a call up to the team in 2015 in the New Zealand series after most of the senior players retired...He played a matchwinning knock of 174...After that his performances were bang on!!!But the selectors haven't realised his worth in the white ball teams and unfortunately he isn't a regular in those 2 formats...I also feel sad for him as he went unsold in the auctions...Wishing him all the best for his future...
Belated wishes Uzzie Khawaja...U will remain embedded in my heart!!!

The debate:Was Virat Kohli's team selection for the 2nd test right or wrong???
I refute...There are many reasons to this...Virat's decision of going ahead with Umesh was a hasty one as the wicket was bouncy and green and would have suited Bhuvi better in comparison to Yadav...But Virat gave a lame excuse by saying that Umesh was preferred over Bhuvi due to his good performance against the Windies...But the question that pricks me is how can someone underferperform against an underdog like the Windies and that too at home!!!Moreover Bhuvi would have also given depth in the batting as he is a handy batsman lower down the order...Opening with Vijay and Rahul who were patchy in the 1st test was a misjudgement...Not playing a specialist spinner...Look I don't mean to see that Hanuma Vihari faltered or something but Jadeja,a specialist spinner would have done a tidied job...Hope the management plays the best 11 in the 3rd test...Hoping for an Indian victory in the last 2 tests!!!JAI HIND!!!
