Okay. Canonically, in the Phantom Planet Timeline the events of the Disastroid and the subsequent Reveal are erased by Clockwork as he is fixing the tumestream. What if this coincided with Barry's Flashpoint?
When he returns to his New Timeline, he is in the New Canon of Danny Phantom, where the Disastrois never came to Earth. Without the fame of stopping the Disatroid, the JLA never approaches him, and he never joins the Team. If he never joins the JLA, he never gets the protection being on a Hero team provides, and the GIW have a chance to catch him.
Barry thinks that this is all his Fault, that his Flashpoint is what caused this timeline to happen. In reality everything relating to Danny happened because of Dan and his messing with Clockwork.
(Also in this Timeline Dan is still around in a Clone Body, meaning Barry might run into him and think "Oh god my changing of the timeline made him Emo!")
DP x DC Writing Prompt: Phashpoint's Phantom
If you were to ask Barry Allen on his opinion regarding young Danny Fenton/Phantom, he could talk for hours about the young Halfa and his happy family of Ghost Hunters.
The boy saved the entire planet from the Disasteroid and became one of the Young Justice's most powerful supernatural hitters while his female clone, Dani, also proved to be a valuable asset to the Teen Titans as well.
When Barry returned after the events of Flashpoint, on an Earth that was similar but different to the one he left behind prior... Barry was devastated and believed that the duo of Halfas were gone alongside many other young heroes.
But that was until a few years later when now Flash looked at the screen with disbelief after the League was contacted by a government branch known as the Ghost Investigation Ward.
According to them a dangerous ecto-entity they had contained has recently broken out and are now considered a threat to the entire planet, they are to be recaptured at all costs.
Flash had a bad feeling the entire time he stayed silent, but felt his fears were confirmed when the picture of a familiar face appeared on screen, attacking GIW bases.
"...Danny?"
Flash knew a lot of his friends had changed after the incident... But he didn't want to believe if the young Phantom truly became a villain or not. He wanted to believe in the boy who was ecstatic when he first set foot on the Watchtower for the first time, but... Could he?
(Or... In the Post-Crisis Era of DC Pre-Flashpoint, a Post-Phantom Planet canon Danny became a member of the Justice League but was missing in the Post-Flashpoint Earth. However Danny was in his own rebooted history where things turned out differently in his life, with a life more like most fanon Danny incarnations where he is contained by a more competent GIW until he escaped.)
(Up to you with where Dani is during all this and if Danny is the same and remembers the last world because of some Clockwork related bullcrap or not)

Damien is both confused and angry at the situation. Ellie was the one person he could see himself being Friends, nobody else ever matched up to her, and she suddenly hated him.
He is confused, because he literally can't figure out why. It started on a perfectly normal day, he had even talked to his other school acquaintances for a while, before she suddenly left the room and wouldn't talk to him.
But at the same time he was Angry. Why was she doing this? What had he done to deserve it? What gave her the nerve to get so mad at him and then ignore his attempt to figure out what had happened? He was angry she had left him.
But no matter how much he tried she avoided him. Every time he got close to her she would walk away and Damien would instantly lose track of her.
He needed to talk to her, he didn't want to lose a friend leave this thread dangling, so he decided to be as persistent as possible to get her attention.
He would approach her in class, pass her notes in class, try to sit at her table at Lunch, anything. Some of the other students gave him a few strange looks when he did that, almost as if they were amused at his attempts, before walking away whispering to themselves. He had no idea what that was about, but he decided to ignore it.
He's just focused on Ellie
DC x DP Ideas
For 'reasons', Ellie has been transferred to Gotham Academy under the guise of living with her guardian Vlad Masters but she's actually living with Dante, Danny, and Jazz.
From the moment she arrived, she had become rivals with Damian Wayne in everything from academics to sports and even the arts.
They wouldn't admit it but they were having fun. Having a rival who's always trying to one-up you, forcing yourself and each other to become better, more extraordinary. (It made a great distraction from their complicated home lives.)
But somewhere along the line, something had changed.
After a debate competition that was held at the school, Damian couldn't help but gush talk about this girl, his friend, Danielle Masters, and how cool and competent she was, and how she was the only person in the school worthy enough to be friends with him. (Awe baby's first crush!) But, ah, Dames, what's an ectoplasmic being and how are they not sapient or sentient?
On the other hand, Ellie is livid. She had Dan buy her a punching bag just so she could put Damian's face on it. She thought he was her friend! Turns out he's just another anti-ectoplasmic being supporter. She tries every day, to go to school, talk to him, and pretend everything is normal. But every time she sees his face and perfect smile of victory, her blood boils with a cold icy rage. (How dear he proclaims so proudly the ghosts are not truly living beings!! Just because we are dead doesn't mean we do not live on.)
Good thing Danny knows how to make portals now! Because when she gets home she's gonna go ape shit.

Danny is having mix feelings his parents believed that his powers were the cause of ecto contaminated and was making him sick and slow killing.
While the bat's and birds think that he is also sick they belived that the powers he has have made him think he is dead and have given him something called walking corpse syndrome
The batfam believes that Danny is a meta with Cotard's syndrome and are trying to convince him that he is not dead. While also making sure that he does not die for real because of starvation or injury/infection.
Cotard's syndrome ( aslo called walking corpse) a rare mental disorder in which the affected person holds the believe that parts of their body are missing, or that they are dying, dead, or don't exist

It's a Deal.
So! Steph is in a bit of a Bind. Literally.
Her Father had just discovered that she was the Vigilante who kept ruining his Plans, and decided to Deal with her. So he tied her up at a Bomb Site for one of his Plans and left her to die there.
No matter how much she struggled, she couldn't escape the Ropes, and time was running out. If only she had managed to get that last message out to Batman in time, maybe he would have come to rescue her.
The Timer had nearly reached Zero, when all of a sudden Time Stopped. The Ropes around her fell away, and a guy walked up to her as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
"Hey, you seem to be in a bit of a bind."
"Not so much anymore, was that you?"
"Yeah, bit of a Free Sample. See, I'm in a bit of a bind as well. I made a Deal with these floating Eyeballs, and long story short in order to keep my town safe I need to take the Soul of an Innocent person."
"And is that where I come in?"
"Yup, Basically I save your life, help you out with whatever you want, and you give me the rights to your Soul."
"What if I just walk away while time is stopped?"
"The building is Locked down tight, and I can't actually hold Time stopped for too long either way, it's sort of a new power to me. Without my help you wouldn't get out in time."
"So it's sell my soul or die?"
"Trust me,I don't like it either, but it's what I have to do."
"You know what, sure. You help me escape, help me take down The Cluemaster, and I'll give you my Soul."
"Then it's a Deal."
"I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship."

Sam is Adopted
So! Have you ever noticed how Sam doesn't look like either of her Parents? Her Mom and Dad are Blonde and Ginger, and neither of them have Purple Eyes. How would Sam ever come from either of them?
She tells people that she dyes her Hair and wears Contacts, but the reality is that she was adopted as a baby by them. They had just found out that Pamela was Infertile and they wanted an Heir foe their company, so they decided to Adopt a kid.
But the Adoption Agency didn't have any kids who would realistically look like them, so they just got the first kid they found.
She had been left at the Orphanage by her Mother citing an inability to raise her and an unstable income. She never told the Agency her name, but told them that the baby's name was Sam, named after her Grandfather.
Sam was raised knowing that she was Adopted, but never really put much interest into it. Until one day when she decided that her adoptive Parents support of the Anti Ecto Acts was a step too far for her. She took an Ancestry DNA Test to see if she could find her Bio Mom to get away from them.
The results came back, and she found out that her Mom was a woman from Metropolis named Lois Lane.

And Alternative Route is one where Danny goes Full Rika
He swears to Damien that he will always protect him, turns into his Eldritch Form, and meches with Damien's Shadow.
Danny will attack anyone and everyone who tries to hurt his Family, Damien especially. He comes out if the Shadows in all his Pure Eldritchy Horrific Beauty and lays waste to all who try to hurt Damien.
Danny is a Monster.
dp x dc twin & pit rage au
cw: mild gore
There’s so many possibilities with a believed-to-be Pit-Influenced Danny Phantom.
Danny is Damian’s twin. They’re separated after a mission gone wrong, resulting in Danny ending up with the Fentons and Damian believing his brother is dead. This time around, when Damian is dumped on Bruce’s doorstep, he tells the family about his dead twin. His integration into the family is much smoother because the Waynes are able to get him therapy and grief counseling.
Danny’s not doing so hot. Jazz tries, but neglectful parents are neglectful parents. Neglect turns to abuse when he dies in a lab accident at fourteen and becomes a halfa. Danny’s not as brave this time around. Damian was always his anchor and protector, looking out for him in the League. Now he’s half dead and he doesn’t know what to do. He was never strong enough for the LoA, how is he supposed to fight unearthly beings hellbent on destruction? Ghosts are more dangerous in this world. Not as…friendly. Those claws and fangs are put to use.
Danny learns what it means to be a ghost. He’s scared, always scared. He wants Damian, but without him, he realizes he will have to be a monster to survive. He survives.
Phantom is a being of great size and power—where a white-haired boy stands, a shadow rises above him, a monster with deadly glowing eyes and flaming hair. He tames Dan. Phantom and Dan are one, and in their center, Danny. What looks like a boy can glitch into a million fractured pieces of shadow and glass shards and an animalistic eldritch beast. He is powerful enough to escape his parents when the time comes (and it comes; he never had a doubt that it would, unfortunately). He flies to Nanda Parbat, desperate to find his beloved brother, to reunite with his other true half and fill that ever-consuming void inside him. Damian has always been the stronger of the two. He will be able to stop Danny, should the occasion ever arise.
Instead, he finds Ra’s and Talia, who only see a potential heir that they can mold to do their bidding. He doesn’t reveal his Phantom form until they throw him into the Lazarus Pits, believing them to make him stronger. Unable to fight the overwhelming energy of rotten ectoplasm all at once, his transformation is forced out of him, revealing his second form. An innocent, white haired boy stands before them.
They are not fooled. Determined to turn him into a weapon, they keep him in a cell in the dungeon and take him out only to train (Danny doesn’t think they realize he could leave this mortal cell whenever he wants. At first, he sneaks out at night and searches rooms for Damian. He never finds him. Danny stops searching). He doesn’t ask where Damian is; they don’t tell him. He’s tired of fighting for control. He gives in and obeys their commands, because it’s easier that way.
Damian and the rest of the Bats go to Nanda Parbat on a mission. They heard that the LoA has a secret weapon, and they must find what it is.
Enter stage left. They walk in on a massacre.
Dozens of bodies cover the floor. Blood soaks the floor, the walls, a little on the ceiling and windows. A few detached limbs litter the ground. Ra’s himself lays in the dead center (no pun intended).
“Guess their weapon got away from ‘em,” Jason, as Red Hood, breathes out.
The rest of the Bats silently agree, a sharp, acrid copper scent poisoning their noses. It’s…unreal. Fictitious, really, that Ra’s could be dead. For so long, he’s felt like a villain with plot armor, a figure too great to be killed off just like that.
He’s just a man. It’s all any of them are, really.
Before any of them can continue their search, the shadows of the room all twist towards the middle, bending forward as though bowing. Above Ra’s mutilated body, another being flickers into the visible spectrum. They all tense.
It’s a monster, at first. Long, white fangs drip blood, and flaming white hair sends up whisps of shadowy smoke that disappears into nothing. Its eyes are pure Lazarus green with pinpricks of black in the center. The bridge of its nose is scrunched like a defensive predatory animal as it glares at them, pointed ears flicking.
It looks like a monster. Sounds like one. But then it shrinks, and a boy with red-stained jeans and wobbly knees drops the extra foot to the ground. His shirt is torn in places, face stained with tears, but a snarl still mars his face.
That face is unmistakable. “Dan- Danyal?” Damian whispers.
They all tense further. Danyal’s eyes are still glowing sickly green, and Dick sidles forward towards Damian. A quick glance to the others confirms they’re all thinking the same thing: Danyal, dead. Body never seen. Talia. Lazarus Pits. Pit Rage.
“Dami?” Dick says quietly, grabbing the boy’s arm as he tries to run to his long-dead twin. “Hold on, Dames. I– I know you miss him. We want to meet him, too. But I think he’s got really bad Pit Rage right now, so let’s give it a minute, okay?”
“He would never hurt me!” Damian snarls, tugging away, but the hurt and uncertainty in his voice reflects his doubts. They all would’ve thought that about Jason, once, but experience would prove otherwise. Not that he’d ever hurt them now that he was better.
“Damian, honey,” Dick starts gently, prepared to inch his little brother away from the twin who was also some kind of Pit monster strong enough to destroy an entire room of assassins. But then the– the boy, the twin, speaks.
“D-Dami?” It’s said so quietly in such a broken voice that they barely hear it. The snarl is gone, replaced by quivering lips. “Is– is that you?”
“Danyal!” Damian shouts, yanking away from Dick and running for the boy covered in blood. “Danyal, I’m here!”
Danyal wavers, legs buckling and he falls forward into Damian’s arms. In the silence of the room, they hear when he begins sobbing.
“Damian, I– I– I didn’t mean to,” he hiccups, burying his face in the other boy’s shoulder, muffling his words slightly. “Please, you gotta– you gotta believe me! I didn’t– I didn’t mean to, I can’t– I didn’t want to!”
“Shhh, it’s alright,” Damian murmurs. “I believe you.”
“They wanted– they wanted me to hurt people, and I couldn’t, I just– Damian, I missed you so much, I needed you.”
“I know, Danyal. I know. It’s okay, I’m here now.”
“Please don’t leave me, Dami.”
“I’m not going anywhere,” Damian says firmly, righting his grip around his brother.
“I looked for you.”
“I’m sorry I wasn’t there, akhi.”
“You won’t leave?”
“Never.”
“Promise? Even though I’m a– a monster?”
“If you are a monster, then I must be the worst of kind of creature to walk the Earth.”
“What? Damian, no, you’re– you’re amazing, you’re not—”
“Then I suppose we are at an impasse.”
They sit in silence for a moment. Behind them, the other Bats are murmuring and moving around.
“You haven’t promised,” Danny whispers, painfully raw.
“I promise. I vow it to you, Danyal. I will never leave your side.”

Or, Danny contaminates them, and then kills them.
The GIW Agents, who have dedicated their lives to extermination Ghosts from the world, become Ghosts themselves. And since it happened in their Secured Base, they can't escape at all. They just have to wait until their Friends and Allies find them locked in that Base, and tear them apart.
Not to mention the horror of realizing that they kept their minds. That to everybody else they were non-sentient monsters while they fully knew that they are still fully aware. Having to come to terms with the fact that they have been deemed Less than Human by their best friends and family.
What if I'm the Monster?
(Based on Monster from Epic the Musical, it's incredible, give it a listen)
So! For the past few years, Danny has done nothing but defend Amity Park from Agressive Ghosts, Lunatic Ghost Hunters, and the GIW, all on his own. But no matter what he does, he is always seen as a Monster by the people of the town, just for being a Ghost.
Over the years he has lost a lot.
His Best Friend. His Mentor. His Mom.
Tucker was caught by the GIW and arrested for helping Phantom, and was never heard from again. His Parents still visit the Mayor's office for any word of him, but no one has any idea what happened.
Danny and Clockwork had a falling out after Danny refused to go down his intended path. He wanted to live his own life, one not predetermined by a Time God. Clockwork had told him that he would regret the decision, and left.
And his Mom had died after discovering his secret. She had surprisingly accepted him, but then the GIW had tried to capture him and she decided to defend him, and she got caught in the crossfire.
Every time Danny tried defending the people of Amity Park, he was vilified and hated even more. He would never be a Hero in their eyes, he was no Justice League. He had lost so much just defending them, but he couldn't bring himself to resent them, they didn't know what they were doing, it was how they were supposed to think. He still needed to defend them.
But he could no longer do so acting as the Hero.
Being a Hero stopped him from raiding the base that he assumed Tucker was being held in. Being a Hero led him to disagreeing with Clockworks advice. Being a Hero led to his Mom's death.
So he would be The Monster, instead.

The point is that Danny is absolutely letting go of his Humanity if it means he can keep his Haunt safe.
He would only kill if necessary, but he would kill

I haven't been in the fandom long, but I think I've noticed a trend...
I like some angst just as much as the next person but omg give this man a hug
Note: I am in no way saying I don't like angsty fanfictions (heck I have some pretty angsty head canons) I just find the sheer amount of them funny. And it just makes me wonder how (canon) Danny would react himself
I just wanted to make this clear that it's a joke- I always worry about my comics coming off the wrong way lol

Yeah, but my thought was that OFA is a Stockpiling Power, so it's not just the power of 7 Proto-Cores turned True Cores, it's the power of 7 Proto-Cores that have been accumulating Power for Centuries at an exponentially growing rate
With each Core added, the rate at which the power is absorbed grows as well, and the mote power is stockpiled, the faster it coalesces.
Sure, Danny has the power of a Full Dimension on his side, but Deku's power is nothing to scoff at either. If the 7 Cores added to OFA are even a fraction as strong as Danny is, all together they would still become even stronger
Not to mention, the Portal has reappeared in the world of MHA again, bringing with it a brand new big wave of Ectoplasm, which he could passively absorb.
Not saying he is stronger in general, but he is definitely still powerful by Ghost Standards.
DPxBNHA Prompt
@evilminji recently made a Post about DP x MHA and I'm in love with the idea of those 2 fandoms together. (I'm gonna tag this dpxdc just to spread it around but there won't be much dc in it. Maybe a few crumbs here and there)
So! Quirks came into existence the same day Danny became a Halfa. He wasn't directly responsible for it, but when the Portal opened it released a truly Massive amount of Ectoplasm into the world at large. The Dr's Fenton didn't notice it at first, because Amity Park had always had that level of Ectoplasm and all of their Sensors were within the City Limits.
The Ectoplasm released onto the world quickly and integrated with multiple Humans across the Planet, and eventually enough Ectoplasm gathered in a single Human to form the first Proto-Core, aka Quirk. That human was the Glowing Baby.
This phenomenon spread across the world as the situation in Amity Park devolved. The GIW knew for certain that these "Meta Abilities" were the result of Ectoplasm Contamination, and doubled down on Amity Park to try and fruitless contain the spread. Not that it would have worked, the Portal opening had sent a Shockwave across the fabric of Reality, creating mini-portals that continued to feed Ectoplasm to the Earth.
Eventually the day came when Amtiy Park was Evacuated from the Mortal Realm by Clockwork for it's own Protection. It's disappearance was blamed on a newly awakened Quirk destroying the entire Town, which was used to feed the flames of hatred in the Early Dawn Era.
Then one day, Amity Park returns. In Japan of all places.
Clockwork had dragged the entire Town through Time, to an Era that would accept their abilities. It was placed in the countryside of Japan. Clockwork had considered putting them in a dimension of Heroes, bur decided that would like to stay in their home dimension for now.
Thats the basic world building, but there are other parts we can expand upon in this AU
For Example, OFA and AFO
All for One was the first True Core in the 1st Gen of Quirks, but he was born with a Defect that made him unable to generate his own Ectoplasm. He felt a Hunger that could never be satiated, and eventually found a way to feed that hunger by absorbing the Proto-Cores of other people into his own True Core, stealing their Quirks.
One For All was the Opposite, born as an empty True Core but without the insatiable Hunger that his brother had. Then AFO force fed him a Stockpile Core and it fused with his own, giving him the power to Generate and Stockpile his own Ectoplasm.
He also had the power to Pass On his Core to another Body, basically just passing on his power. Then his Successor did the same, and their successor, and their Successor. Eventually we reach the 9th Holder of OFA, and the Singularity.
In this world, the Quirk Singularity isn't just an event where Quirks grow too powerful for their Bodies to handle, it is an event where the Proto-Cores of Quirk Users experience an Apotheosis, and change from Proto to True Cores. True Cores which the Human Body can't handle having.
But it's different for OFA. It was a True Core from the beginning, born within a Human Body, and it has the power of 6 other Proto-Cores within itself all ready to Apotheosis into True Cores themselves. When OFA is passed onto zuku Midoriya, it floods him with 7 Cores worth of Ectoplasm, and turns him into a Halfa.
When Danny and the rest if Amity Park reappear in Japan, they find not only a world populated by mostly Liminal Humans, but also a Powerful Halfa who doesn't even know he is a Halfa. Maybe even 2 if All Might also experienced the same Apotheosis?
Thoughts?

So! Danny works by Fae Rules, Names and all, but he has no idea about that because he was forced to run away from Home (and the Ghost portal) before his Ghostly Education could be completed.
He runs to Gotham and eventually gets a job at Starbucks, or some other Cafe.
He has to ask the question "Could I get your name please?" A LOT while working there. And unintentionally steals hundreds of Names by the end of his first day, much less a week or a month into his job.
One day, Constantine visits Gotham for a Meeting with Batman, but by the time he gets to the Meeting Point he has bigger issues to discuss.
"Why the hell does half of your City belong to a Fae Lord?!"

Croc: Okay, so I figured out something. Maybe Dr Fenton is from thr Feywilds? Her Parents are Hunters, her brother is Half Supernatural, and she herself is weird right?
Joker: Oh please, she said her parents were Hunters of the Supernatural, not hunters in general, and her brother wasn't born half Supernatural, he was turned into one.
Croc: ...I thought you didn't care about it?
Joker: I DON'T!!!
In Arkham they don't allow outside media in fear of the rouges getting any ideas. This leads to them treating the staff like their own personal TV show, this leads to a level of parasocial obsession that can often be detrimental (See Harley Quinn as a notable example). So when DR. Jazz Fenton comes in with subtle hinting of government conspiracies and a 'i've seen worse' attitude they are INVESTED. Meany of them are staying just for the show, their plans can wait they NEED to know this woman's backstory.
"hey it's been awfully quiet"
"Yeah, new hire at Arkham, it happens sometimes"
*3 months later*
"sooo"
"yeah something's definitely up"

I love how Danny keeps digging himself deeper and deeper into a Hole with all of his lies
"Then why does Phantom not tell us about the future? Why does he seem surprised at events like he didn't know they would happen?"
"Uh, Clockwork is restricting him, because knowledge of the Future is dangerous"
"So why don't you tell us when you get slingshotted forward?
"Uh, Clockwork is restraining me too?"
"He has Power over you!? I thought you had him contained?!"
The Summoner
So! Danny is not the Ghost King.
But he still has a good relationship with a LOT of Powerful and not-so-powerful Ghosts in the Zone. So much so that they have given him their Summoning Circle's with a blanket permission to Summon them any time. Not like they have much else going on...
This all leads to a hilarious situation where Danny can't use his Powers for whatever reason and is forced to Summon his friends for help. In front of a group of Heroes.
He has to explain everything to them, but accidentally convinces them that he has Summoning Magic and the Ghosts are all on his Contract. He also mentions Saving people from Ghosts and the JLA realize that he is a child Hero.
They ask him if he wants to join Young Justice, and Danny hesitantly agrees.
Now Danny is on Young Justice and the entire team thinks that he is a Hero with Ghost Summoning Magic.
And his name isn't Daniel "Commit to the Bit" Fenton for no reason.
