Related to the Simeon thing earlier because I thought of this (all pure head canon but hear me out) what if Simeon was originally intended the sin of wrath but didn't end up falling and is low-key salty that Satan "replaced" him?

I don't think the characters besides the brothers are aware of their associated sin. Or how much it's part of their being. Having 7 attributes in a game is already pushing it (especially not being an even number) so it makes sense that after the brothers, the rest would just be assigned an already existing element instead of making a new one.

But let's spitball here. Your idea made the gears in my head turn.

It is known that Simeon wants Lucifer back in the celestial realm. Not sure about the rest of the brothers but he has expressed such intentions towards Lucifer, repeatedly.

So maybe he thinks there is The Posibility. Lucifer's constant refusals don't seem to disuade him in the slightest. He must think "of course he wants to come back! The Celestial Realm is perfect. There must be something keeping him." That's where Satan comes in. Maybe he thinks everyone can come back as usual. However Satan's existence throws a wrench on his plans. Not only was he a product of Lucifer's own wrath from the war against his father. But he's also A living being. Who needed guidance and nurturing. Which; according to the rest of the brothers; Lucifer did most of. A pure demon who is now part of this family of former angels. Who would most definitely Not be accepted as a permanent resident of the Celestial Realm*. Whom Lucifer of course would never quit on or leave behind, whether out of pride, genuine affection, a sense of responsibility, or all the above.

And maybe, maaaybe, Simeon resents Satan for it. Conciously or not. Specially since Simeon doesn't know him. It's easier to feel bitter towards a stranger than someone you know.

*(I gues??? IDK the angels event sorta fucks me up here, but I seriously do think event stories should be taken with a measure of salt lorewise)

I'm glad you like the schmonky thick lined I use. They are my comfort zone tbh, just come easier to do. I've been trying to be better at thin lines. I can't wrap my head around it but I wanna! But I keep slipping back to heavy lines without realising lol
