Hey btw! It looks like depending on if people have custom themes enabled, the media option may not show up when sending an ask from [name].tumblr.com. If you're not seeing it, try going to tumblr.com/[name] which opens their blog *within* tumblr. This view will have the media option if they have enabled it.

If you haven't had time to make anything, no worries! Here are some quick ideas if you want to participate without much prep.
Costumes:
Picture of the Stranger Things character you would go as
Picture of any regular costume (you can also say if you're thinking of a character wearing it)
Written description of a costume
Picture of a Halloween costume or cosplay you've worn in real life
Tricks:
Picture of a horror movie you recommend
Picture of a scary makeup look
What horror movie trope would you be (and/or which one would the sender be)
Story about a time you experienced something spooky/paranormal
Treats:
Nice message to the sender
Picture of candy or Halloween trinkets you'd give them
Halloween pun/joke
What Stranger Things character the sender reminds you of
A Halloween cartoon or wholesome movie you'd recommend
What familiar you'd have if you were a witch
Can be tricks or treats depending on content:

Bylerween Trick-or-Treat!
October 31 will be day 6 of @bylerween2023, one of the themes being trick-or-treating.
Come trick-or-treat in people's asks!
馃拃Reblog this post on Oct 31 (or queue it now)
馃巸Send asks to people participating, saying "Trick or Treat!" Add a scared emoji 馃槺 for tricks, or a candy emoji 馃崿 for treats. (tricks lean more into the scary elements and can include any spooky content, whereas treats will be more wholesome and avoid major triggers) You can add both if you are open to either, and want to be surprised!
*If you only want to open your asks to one of these, feel free to put that in the tags.
馃Costumes are encouraged - include an image in your ask of your costume! It can be a picture of a costume (something spooky, a character, etc.), your real life costume/cosplay, a Stranger Things character edited into a costume, or anything you'd like.
馃暩锔廟espond to trick-or-treaters with a trick or a treat! These can be Stranger Things or Halloween memes, written text (byler drabbles, scenarios, etc.), drawings, a kind message to the sender, or anything else! Feel free to get creative. Be sure to check the emojis for whether they want a trick or a treat, and tag triggers according to @bylerween2023 guidelines for your tricks.
