I got a few more questions if that's alright, regarding the hard-core au!
1. Is Yokai fusion still a thing or is it a taboo? (Whisper and Jibanyan's fusion, Thornyan, Baddinyan)
2. Does Hailey still have her detective agency with Whapir and Usapyon? Is Whapir any different?
3. Would Nate still interact and help out with the war between Arachnus and Toadal Dude?
1: fusion is the same as ever, however unlike where fusing Jibanyan still gets rid of Roughraff or Coughkoff, Getting Baddinyan and Thornyan doesn’t have any consequences at ALL. So yeah, Nate has the Medals For Baddinyan, Thornyan, Buchinyan, and Jibakoma just… There.
2:Detective Agency still Happens the same way, not much changes about it aside from Hailey actually keeping Usapyon as the Mascot
3:He kinda has to?
At the End of the war, however, instead of Unfairy JUST beating up people, He stalls enough time for Dame Dedtime to… “Make new recruits” out of the generals and their Lackeys.
When you fight Against Unpleasent, you then need to fight Shadow Venoct to free Venoct.
When you fight Untidy, you then need to fight Darkyubi to free Kyubi.
When you fight Unkaind, you then need to fight Toadal Demon to free Toadal Dude.
When you fight Unkeen, you then need to fight Arachnevil to free Arachnus.

(Honestly just thinking of stuff to draw after work, which leads to more questions lol)
So how does Nate end up befriending Tomnyan in Hard core?
And what would Nate's relationship with Nathaniel, Inaho, and Buck be like?
The group (Nate, Whisper, Jibanyan, Komasan) meet Tomnyan the same way they (minus komasan) meet him in ykw3 canonically
They automatically befriend him IMMEDIATELY. He’s just that trusting. He then moves in with Nate and the rest and starts showing up in Cutscenes and stuff.
However, Nate wasn’t actually given his medal.
You DO end up truly being able to use him at the start of Chapter 6 when Nate realizes Tomnyan never gave him his medal, Tomnyan then admits he just forgot.
With Nathaniel, he gets Hovernyan to Calm down for a while about everything
Him and Hailey actually become pretty good friends better than him and Buck.
Buck is basically the Eddie and Bear of BBQ. He acts the EXACT same as he did at the start of the game in canon. Like an asshole to Nate and Nate only for some reason
He only starts being actually nice after the Hazeltine Mansion chapter.

So I dunno if there's a blog for Hardmode yet, but I was hoping to ask a couple questions regarding it cause it's such a cool concept!
1. What is Komajiro like in the au? Is he paranoid like Komasan? Or does he have more of an attitude?
2. Is Hovernyan actively antagonizing Nathaniel to make the watch? Are they still friends?
3. How does Nate become friends with Damona?
Komajiro is basically a fusion of Both of The Bros Personalities.
He’s always trying to help his bro and he tries to look cool to him.
He’s Auto-befriended during the Festival chapter. He’s at the festival, and Komasan sees him.
2:Actively Antagonizing. Hovernyan TRIES to be his friend and fails.
3: Auto Befriend Right before Entering the Yo-Kai World, Nate needs to battle her to prove he’s worthy for the Yo-Kai World, you battle her, and you befriend her. She’s a level lower than The Auto-Befriend Venoct.
