Lmaoooooo I put the licca I was trying to stain treat on the windowsill, but I was afraid it wasn't hot enough, so I put her against my pc while I was playing games AND IT WORKED! The pros of never upgrading your computer lollll

I was a freaking myself out yesterday in regards to some pink stains on my licca-chan since I was so worried it was that plastic bacteria thing, but then I remembered they only appeared after she had been wearing a daiso pink yukata for over a year and the stains were in the exact same spots on both arms. I washed her with antibacterial soap just to be safe, and she's currently praising the sun with her arms and legs covered in acne cream and plastic wrap.

Just had to go on an adventure to find my package (thanks usps for not even attempting to deliver it and sending me to the wrong post office to get it 😑) but it had my Jill Jelly! She's sooooo cute, I'm shocked that there aren't more owner photos of her initial release! It was kind of a pain in the butt to get her headcap off since it's glued, but once I got it off, it was super easy to change her eyes and put the headcap back on (no extra tape/adhesive required!)
I got her from Kinoko Juice's etsy so I could get these eyes as well, and they were super nice and helpful with answering my questions. They even sent an extra pair of eyes as a freebie! I hope Shizuku gets a non-resin Azone version as well at some point, it's great to see the sculpts becoming more accessible and mainstream AND seeing their cute little Azone outfit themes.

Does anyone have advice on what to do about a chip in a doll's face? I ordered a Sailor Venus sample doll from Groove, and the package came completely crushed with the doll only wrapped in paper and the plastic sleeve, and she has a little chip in her cheek (as well as many other issues that weren't listed 😓). They don't issue refunds for sample dolls as it's a buy at your own risk thing, but dang I thought they would at least add bubble wrap. The people writing the reviews were just lucky I guess.
Would adding a teeny tiny bit of paint the color of her skin to the dent help? Or would that just make it stand out more? If it was a little closer to her eye, I would turn it into a beauty mark, but it's just kinda in the middle of her cheek. Any suggestions, please?

Real talk is there anyway to tell if it's mold on the clothes or just dust/marks on the box in listings for dolls? I'm interested in a love jenny from dollyteria, and the listing doesn't mention anything about mold (which I've seen them list on other listings) but idk there are some pale spots on the clothes that make me nervous 😬
Also, if the mold is on the clothes in the box, does that mean that the doll will be infected as well? I only want her for her head, but if it's a mold risk I wouldn't want to take it...

Sweet Memorial Jenny EX (2007)
Just doing a quick info dump here for now lol
This is the 52cm Sweet Memorial Wedding Jenny (EX ver) made by Star Inc. in collaboration with Takara Tomy in 2007 for Jenny’s anniversary, as part of the Sweet Memorial collection that was designed to resemble the original Jenny/Takara Barbie dolls; the other three dolls in this collection are 1/6 scale.
Her body is a slightly upgraded, enlarged replica of the regular 1/6 Jenny body with less articulation (no wiring in her arms or legs) made entirely with vinyl:

She mostly-fits ¼ shoes, not 100% sure about what clothing fits but I’m guessing select 1/3 clothes fit, some loose ¼ pieces, Azone 50cm clothing is probably the best bet. I have a feeling Lorifina and similar-size doll clothes should fit, but I haven’t tried yet!
Eventually I’d like to do a comparison with my other big fashion dolls from Japan, but she doesn’t have a stand atm so we’ll just have to settle for this right now lol
She’s also not the only big Jenny doll, much to my surprise, and is in fact the very last big Jenny ever made!
Prior to SM Jenny’s release in 2007, in 2002, Takara collaborated with Star Inc to release 52cm dolls for the Jenny Excelina line- these dolls have the same sculpt and body as Sweet Memorial EX, but much more elaborate outfits with detailed undergarments, stands, and a scaled up version of the Excelina Jenny screening and a paler skintone:

The Star Excelina Jenny line was also a lot more expensive than Sweet Memorial! While SM would have been around 400 USD at the time of her release, the Star Excelina line retailed for more than double.

Finally re-wigged Rosalind last night! It's just a crappy aliexpress one (please ignore those messy af ends lol), but I really prefer the way that the middle part frames her face. Plus it shows off her makeup and blushing more!
I also had to cut several other of my pullips wigs to make them more manageable and playable. I can manage waves, but I suck so much at maintaining doll curls 💀

It’s county fair week! As a kid, the fair meant the carnival. Now my dolls can enjoy it! I had this Ferris wheel as a kid, but it randomly completely stopped working years ago and I got rid of it. I’ve always missed it, so I went looking on eBay. And I found it, and it works!!! The motor is very loud, but movie magic fixes that! And it’s not so bad outside. And it is from 1997. The Ferris wheel was made by a company called Forever Girl and was designed for Barbie size dolls. But I think it’s perfect for Azone dolls! Barbie’s sisters would also be a great fit. The Ferris wheel plays music, can go forward and backward, and has a side game where you toss rings into a clown’s mouth. And yes, ani-ME is on the ride, freaking out because we don’t like heights lol!

So I understand that there are trade-offs. You can save money in certain places on the Monster High line by reusing face sculpts and more affordable (read: polypropylene) hair.
Monster High has a lot of plastic accessories that adults don't always want. Thank you for not including a pet with Barbie Signature Looks. I am so. tired. of pets. Instead, Signature Looks dolls have doll stands. And I appreciate that!
I assume Made to Move bodies are more expensive to manufacture due to all the joints that need to be separately made and assembled. With the latest Signature Looks line, you spent money on nicer fabric, hair, and creating new shoe molds. So I get it. I promise. I really do.
But...
Could - could we at least have some earrings? Maybe some hosiery?
