Officially Released Today

We will be releasing “Demo Sessions” on April 10.  The EP will include three tracks from our debut EP,  and one previously unreleased track titled “My Heart and Soul”.

Lucas will be performing this evening with several other great songwriters at the Cafe Creperie in Elora in support of Lynsey Hodgsen. #firecracker

Empire in Arms will also be donating a portion of the sale to World Renew.

Our Vision: World Renew envisions a world where people experience and extend Christ's compassion and live together in hope as God's community.

Our Mission: World Renew's mission is to engage God's people in redeeming resources and developing gifts in collaborative activities of love, mercy, justice, and compassion.

H.E.A.R.T.S. supports the work of the people in the Cap-Haitien area in the north of Haiti through both material and financial aid.  Funding is sent down each month in support of a food program at an orphanage (Stella House) affiliated with Eben-Ezer Evangelical Church.  Funding is also provided to 4 schools: Faith, New Life, Heavenly Light, and Eben-Ezer. This covers the costs of educational programs and teachers’ salaries.  Additionally, H.E.A.R.T.S. awards 6 scholarships each year to young adults to attend either college or university.

     Only fifty percent of all Haitian children attend school, and of these only fifty percent attend government schools.  Were it not for the NGOs such as H.E.A.R.T.S. very few children would ever see the inside of a school.  In fact, if all the children that are eligible to attend school were to decide that they would go to school on the same day then the government schools would be very, very over crowded.  The Government of Haiti does not have either classrooms or teachers to accommodate all the children.

   H.E.A.R.T.S. has also organized teams to go to Haiti to assist with work projects.  The most recent trip was in May of 2010.

The Carpenteros and Friends are a group from Southern Ontario (Canada) who are committed to showing the love of Jesus Christ to communities in need in Honduras

The Carpenteros are proud to work in partnership with World Renew (Canada and Honduras), Diaconia Nacional, Alfalit, Harvest and MCM/Stewardship of Christian Ministries to support micro-finance cooperatives, education, health and sanitation training, and various community-development projects.  Watch our Facebook page for upcoming events, and for information from service teams in Honduras. Wilson & MacQueen (Kris MacQueen and Adrian Wilson) are almost done work on our new record. We want to give you a taste of what's coming, so here are two songs from our upcoming album. It's so hard to pick just two, we really, truly love the whole thing. We'll be finished recording within the next couple of days. Then the next stage is mastering. "SHOUT FOR JOY" gets released to Christian Music Radio today.  

“SHOUT FOR JOY” is the first release off of the self-titled debut album EMPIRE IN ARMS.  The album fuses the influences of each of the members in a unique and honest way.  They embraced each of the gifts God had given them and focused the entire project on glorifying him.  They asked no questions, but played as the music moved them.

In May of 2012, five musicians entered into the studio with a group of songs.  Their only goal was to give back to their Maker a gift that He had given them.  As the five musicians settled in one room, they asked no questions, tried not to get involved and just let the music happen and it did...
