I work at Walmart and I barely make enough to pay my bills and buy groceries at the same time. I don’t even think the managers are making living wages considering how much time they have to dedicate to their jobs. Literally the only people actually profiting from big corporations like these are the people at the top. All the rest of us have to take our little $1000 a month and try to make it work. And don’t even THINK about getting sick or having a chronic condition while trying to work at one of these jobs. I’m in the midst of recovering from brain surgery and about to go through a six week long radiotherapy treatment, and I’m STILL going to have to go to work every day because I’m not being paid enough to save up anything for eventualities like this. And since I only just started there, I don’t have any paid time off days either. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate all my coworkers and everyone I work with, but it’s fucking disgusting that I can’t really focus on my health because I’m too busy stressing about money, and the people at the top with the power to make my life easier and fucking pay me a living wage won’t do it because they want to hoard all the money to themselves.

Guys I love my new job so much my boss is so nice we have paid breaks and can eat and drink off the menu free all day it’s iconic

As someone who changed his name just for fun when I thought I was still cis, i promise most people are ok with accepting a new name, even if you lie and say it’s a nickname. I promise. It’s really easy to just casually go “hey I wanna go by Bob now, it’s an old nickname I wanna bring back” like. Just start introducing yourself to new ppl, no one knows better. and if someone accidentally deadnames you just go haha no I go by my nickname now.

It sucks that ppl treat nicknames as more sacred than trans ppls choice names but still.

TikTok has banned LGBT content

I think some people might not know, so I’m spreading this, but TikTok has banned LGBT content.

For that reason, I’m not going to be reblogging TikTok videos anymore, and I encourage you to do the same.

I know it’s hard. TikTok felt like getting Vine back, but they’re scummy homophobic poo-poos and I feel like we should take a stand against that.

My mom and I were talking about my sexuality once and she was like “You still might end up marrying a man. You might never meet a girl that you like enough to be in a relationship with” Like okay but that doesn’t mean I’ll be straight though. I’ll still be bisexual when I’m in a m/f relationship.
