Sylveride post :) I keep toying with the idea of maybe she did go to Vegas and maybe they did get married, but she instantly regrets it and was suppose to get it annulled(kelly wasn’t stopping her because it was really stressing her out) and she didn’t do it after he got hurt. They keep it hush for awhile until someone figures it out...I’m just really bad at writing for characters that already have personalities. Know anybody who would love to write this??? Thanks!

there is a severe lack of fanfic for these two! I love these two so much and it sucks that the show doesn't seem to realize their potential. But it's fine, just keep putting Kelly with girls that stick around for six episodes lol
It’s very disappointing that the show doesn’t recognize their potential. And I totally wish people would write more fanfic! Might help ease the pain a little ;)

I loooove Sylvie and i constantly feel like she's underappreciated by both the show and fans. Like they stick her with character from another show, we don't get to see much of the relationship and it's development, the journey, the best part, u know? She doesn't get much screen time or personal storylines, it feels like she's just there and i have to be on the lookout for the glimpses of her being a footnote in other's story. Like be the one to introduse a new fuckbuddy to Severide UGH
I know how you feel. She’s such a wonderful character and even though they promote her like a major character (putting her in the main poster with Boden, Casey, Dawson, and Severide), they sure don’t treat her like one. As a huge fan of her, it is very disappointing. The best thing to do is just to tweet Derek and let him know we want to see more Brett-centered stories, versus like what you said, her being a footnote.

I actually ship Brett and Kelly together 👌🏼, they just seem both so adorable. Am not a fan of her with Antonio. ( No hate, just my thoughts)
We love them, too! We love Antonio, but will always want Severide and Brett to have a chance.

We did see it. We aren’t thrilled about Severide going back to his “player” days – though if we’re being honest, he never truly stopped. However, we are hoping that this means we will get some more Severide/Brett out of this :)

don't give up on Sylveride. You know, i used to be a big fan of Bamon (Bonnie & Damon from TVD) and until S6 they litteraly hated each others and they end up the show being best friends. So, we never know what the writers think and what they'll do. I think Sylveride has a chance. Sorry for my bad english, i'm french :/

hello! I've been liking the idea of Severide & Brett together since S3 and I heard rumors about them, like the writers actually wanted to do something with them but well i'm kinda new in the fandom so i don't know if that's true...

As he stepped out of the squad truck, Severide groaned as he stretched his arms over his head. Squad had been running non-stop, and he was starving.
Someone had already made lunch, because even from where he was standing on the apparatus floor, he could smell it. He hurried to the kitchen and dining area, hoping to grab something before it was all gone.
After getting his food, Severide noticed an open spot next to Brett at the table she was sitting at with Dawson and Casey.
As he sat down, he noticed the cheesecake sitting in front of Brett.
“There wasn’t any of that when I was up there,” Severide said, pointing his fork at Brett’s plate.
Casey shrugged apologetically, “Sorry, Joe took the last piece.”
As Severide continued to eat, he kept an eye on the cheesecake.
Hearing her name called from across the room, Brett turned away from her plate and Severide struck.
He quickly took the desert from Brett’s place, and quickly ate it. Hearing laughter from Dawson and Casey, Brett turned back to see what they were laughing at.
Noticing her empty plate, she pouted. Upon seeing Severide with the crumbs of her missing desert, her pout turned into a scowl, “Hey! I was going to eat that!”
Severide shrugged apologetically, a grin on his face, “You didn’t eat it fast enough.” Brett continued to scowl at him, “C’mon Brett, I’ll buy you a new one.”
Before Brett could answer, a call came for the ambo. As she walked away, Brett tossed over her shoulder, “Yeah, but it won’t be that one.”
Later that evening, after shift was over and Brett was lounging on her couch relaxing, a knock sounded throughout her apartment.
Slightly confused, Brett opened the door. A smile took over her face at the sight of Severide holding a cheesecake. Severide grinned, “Hey, I said I’d buy you a new one.” Sylvie laughed and opened the door to let him in, “Well, since you went through all that trouble I guess I can even share it with you.”

“Boo”
**I own nothing familiar***
The bunk room in Firehouse 51 was dark. The only light came from the television set on the far side of the room.
Sylvie Brett sat crosslegged on her bed, focused on the movie playing, a bowl of popcorn in her lap.
On the television, the horror movie IT was playing. Sylvie’s dislike of clowns was apparent each time she jumped or let out a squeak when a clown appeared on the screen.
Kelly Severide watched the scene in front of him in amusement, before a smirk took over his handsome face.
Slowly, he crept towards the bed Sylvie was sitting on.
Finally, right behind Sylvie, Severide yelled, “Boo!”
Sylvie screamed, and her popcorn went flying.
As Severide fell against the bed laughing, Sylvie scowled at him and picked up the fallen popcorn bowl.
As he ran out of the room laughing, she threw the bowl after him yelling, “You jerk!”

What happened to the fanfic of Sylveride from this blog? It says it's been taken down? I never even got around to reading it and there's absolutely nothing anywhere else that I can find.
