God was watching when Aziraphale ate the ox rib. When he conspired against Her and tricked her angels. When he lied to Heaven.

And falling should be bad, the worst thing to ever happen to him. Except that it’s not. Crawley seems to want nothing but to protect him from Hell, to keep him close as he learns the ropes of being a demon assigned to Earth.

Maybe a side of their own is not such a bad and lonely thing after all.

They were a week in when the stares at night began. Food was scarce, but Aziraphale and Crawley always seemed to have more than expected in their cart, and even if the former angel shared it with them with a cherubic smile, something dark brewing among the humans was beginning to be obvious.

“They’ll try to steal all our things the moment we fall asleep. And then kill us,” Crawley muttered to the former angel one night, eyeing the merchants talking in whispers and looking at them. “Maybe the other way around. First kill, then steal. Maybe kill while stealing. You rest, I’ll keep an eye open.”

There was no need to say it, not really. Crawley had stayed awake and protected them ever since they’d left Uz, but this night he seemed especially paranoid and guarded.

Summary: When Aziraphale gets hit with a demonic lust spell, it’s up to Crowley to rescue him and fend off a very horny angel.

Warnings: sex pollen trope, dubcon kissing, mention of roofies, memory loss, eventual smut

“It was very kind of you to come get me tonight,” Aziraphale said.

Crowley growled. “Shut up.”

“Very nice indeed.”

Frustrated, Crowley whipped his glasses off his face and flung them on the counter. “Will you quit it?” he hissed, leaning in menacingly. “Don’t ssssay stupid shit like that.”

Crowley quickly realized his mistake, putting his face too close to Aziraphale’s. The angel’s pupils were blown wide open and he was biting down on his bottom lip, that plump cushion that probably tasted like heaven. His eyes tracked slowly down Crowley’s face, lingering on his mouth.

Crowley felt frozen to the spot as Aziraphale reached up and gently pushed back a few strands of hair that had fallen out of his half-bun.

“I like your hair like this,” Aziraphale murmured. “You take such good care of it.”

Crowley was mercifully saved by the screech of the boiling kettle. He jerked away from Aziraphale’s touch and cleared his throat, busying himself with the tea. He started to wonder how long it would be before the blasted spell wore off, to end his suffering.

Azalea Fell is a new skater in an underground roller derby league. She meets Antoinette Crowley, a skater on a rival team, and there's an immediate attraction. Determined to avoid ruining their new friendship with a love affair, the dummies pine away.

This chapter: Azalea starts an investigation of sorts, a few new characters are introduced, and our girls have an eventful first day of being Official.

Excerpt:

“You’re amazing, Az. My angel.” Crowley kissed her slowly in the middle of the car park.

Azalea kissed her back. “I’m not much of an angel, darling. I’m just me.”

“Mmm, you are. Thank -- someone.”

“Let’s go, beautiful,” Azalea said, putting her hand on Crowley’s. “We can go to dinner, and then to the bookshop. I’ll grab a bag, and we can go to your place. I believe you have someone to introduce me to.”

Crowley led them to her car and opened the door for Azalea before climbing into the driver’s seat. “Just so you know, my cat is old and she can be grumpy so don’t take it personally if she gives you the cold shoulder.”

“I’ll just have to win her over like I did with you,” Azalea said, fastening her seat belt.

“No, you didn’t have to win me over, angel. If taking you to A&E hadn’t worked, I would have found some other way to have seduced you.” Crowley explained, starting the car. “I was determined to get to know you however I could.”

Azalea smiled at her. “Soppy,” she teased quietly.

“Shut up,” Crowley said, blushing.

DFAFM - It Ends As It Began (a colouring page)

You guys thought I was done manifesting my undying love for @phoen1xr0se's glorious Don't Fall Away From Me? :> I know I took my sweet time, but here's a fanart to celebrate the completion of this insanely fabulous post-s2! While this particular scene didn't happen in the fic, there are certain elements that make this fanart unequivocally DFAFM-coded :> If you've read it, I'm sure you can recognise them straight away ;)

I think that since Aziraphale came up with the name of the cottage, Crowley took it upon himself to hang the plaque. And sure, he could've just miracled it into place, but why would he do that when he could use the excuse to have his strong angel lift him in his arms while he nailed the plaque above the door? Task complete, hammer tossed safely on the ground, it's time to express some tender affection to his precious darling <3
