Anyways; I hope tiktok does get banned. I know it'll be absolutely awful for the people who use it to talk about the situation with Palestine and Rafah, but everything else on that app is just the trash fires of hell itself. So guess who just got to the end of Arthur's story??? THIS BITCH.

And let me tell you, I legit have not mourned a character nearly as much as I did Lee Everett in Telltale's TWD. That ending made me sob like a little bitch and I don't know if I'm ever gonna be able to trust a game again.

It's like losing a dear friend all over again. Being convinced by a game to care so much about a character, grow attached to them, only to have them ripped away in the most brutal and cold ways possible.

And that fucking elk.

I don't know why, but that was the point when I had to pause the game and just cry. Something about that elk just tore my heart. Watching Arthur take his last breath watching the sunrise... goddamn.

Everyone was right, Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the best written games I've played in years. There's so much heart and soul put into it, you can tell the team making it cared about the story they were telling.

And that last meeting with Micky as John just... just fucks me up. He didn't even know Arthur that well, but he knew enough to know that while he wasn't all good, at least he had a heart and compassion, though he'd never admit it.

Fuck me, I'm gonna cry again.

If someone comes up in my shit and tells me that they think Javier is just a "bland mexican" I will have to disrespectfully tell them to go fuck themselves.

I am so fucking sick and tired of seeing mexican characters that are actually written WELL being put into the same box as the mexican characters who AREN'T. Javier is a very well written character with an actually intriguing storyline.

He has lost EVERYTHING. His blood family and his found family. He's a broken man manipulated by a corrupted and lost leader. He's bitter and a backstabber by the end of it because he's likely protecting himself from losing everything again. He's a wonderful character. Every character in RDR2 is a wonderful character, but especially Javier.

Because despite it all, he's still the man who watched his family die and has been manipulated and cheated. He's not just some "hot guitar player". He has an actual story and a compelling storyline. I mean, shit. He doesn't even fucking raise his gun in the confrontation with Arthur or John. He isn't trying to hurt either of them because he fucking loves them. They are his brothers.

I just hate seeing people treat actually good characters so badly. It's fine is Javier isn't your favorite, but goddammit just don't throw him aside like he's nothing.

I'll never understand people liking Micah Bell. It feels like a Billy Hargrove situation all over again, but at least Billy had some slightly redeeming qualities. There's nothing about Micah that is at all redeeming.

He's a nasty little sewer rat, racist redneck pussy. He says terrible things to the entire gang, sucks up to Arthur and Dutch, and then goes on and starts talking some racist shit about Lenny, Charles, and Javier. There's absolutely nothing good about him.

If this motherfucker says anything else bad about my boys again, I will fucking string him up like a goddamn Christmas decoration I swear to fucking god.

Brazil is going through one of the worst climatic crisis ever seen.

i live in the southernmost state, Rio Grande do Sul. we have been suffering from extreme, nonstop rainstorms for a week now. the rivers are flooding, reaching 4-6 meters above their natural level. people are being rescued by helicopters, neighborhoods are being evacuated. entire cities are slowly but surely becoming submerged in water. 60 people missing and counting. 32 deaths and counting.

and this is not new. last november also had a flood like this one. 50 dead, many material losses. it happened again this january, with thousands being left without power or water for days.

three catastrophical disasters within less than a year. three disasters only a few months apart.

this is not natural.

unsustainable agricultural practices and politics led to this. a complete disregard for nature led to this. greed led to this. always greed.

when it comes to the climate crisis, i cannot stress this enough: we need to act now if we still want to live. disasters like this are going to happen more often and they're going to be much, much worse. this flood is being considered the worst climatic catastrophe in the history of my state. i don't know how long it will take for another bigger one to happen and take its place. i just know it will be sooner than it should.

I personally headcanon Claude as selectively mute. I know the reasoning behind Claude being silent and only having pain sounds was because Rockstar simply had better things to worry about with GTA3, but I just assume that Claude can speak but chooses not to.

Whether this is because he has autism, (which is me projecting bc I'm autistic) a traumatic childhood, or just simply because he doesn't want to is really just up to any interpretation. I personally believe it's a mix of him having autism and a traumatic childhood.
