Time to go back to Act 1 for some shenaninanigans and to gobble up some missing XP!
First, went back to the goblin camp. But, no one was there except for this little guy. So, Minthara took out what was left of the goblin trash.
Went to the creche. I had heard some rumors that Minthara had spoken dialogue here. I was actually surprised to hear it though! What could have been if Larian let us recruit her in Act 1...
Gotta keep the hood up to protect her eyes from the evil evil sun!
Fought some evil cats.
And some evil birbs.
And killed a kid! HAHAHAHA! Maybe Minthara is the real Dark Urge.
Hopped in the zaithisk to get the Awakened buff, she wasn't too thrilled about it. Also stole all the worms in the infirmary and Minthara now has all the illithid powers!
Are you truly a lesbian if you don't habitually commit mass murder with your evil girlfriend?
If Lathander didn't want me to take it, then why did he put it on a pedestal? Is he stupid?
Cute date ideas for evil lesbians: a hike in the mountains, mass murder, pissing off the gods, and the destruction of sacred temples!

Sorry folks, been feeling a lot of feelings that I don't want to feel and they won't go away. Still drowning in doubts and keep second guessing every word I write cause now it all just feels wrong and incorrect. Couldn't be as productive on the main story and didn't get around to editing the next chapter. So, here's a one-shot that's been sitting in the drafts. Hopefully, I should be back on schedule on Friday.
This chapter is meant to take place between Chapter 21: Midnight Hunt and Chapter 22: Weary Travelers of the main story.
Despite only being on the road for just a few days, Daedra and Shadowheart decided that they wanted to take a break for a day and just rest. But, Minthara has other plans.

Finally! The Emperor did his damn job and broke her free from the Absolute! There was no reason for the squid boi to wait so long. Damn jackass.
Yay! She's joined the camp! I can now get rid of the dumb hireling. Also means turning the difficulty back up, otherwise Minthara will turn this game into a joke. Especially since I'm boutta load her up with all them brain worms.
Haha, Withers calling Minthara maidenless is just priceless. But, is time for a respec so I can have my Rogue Paladin. Should I make her an oathbreaker? Need to think about that...
Time to go back to Act 1 and blow up the creche and have Minthara clear out the rest of the goblin trash. Shout out to @heathblind for this pro-gamer move!
BONUS: You say that Astarion looks better in the Spider-silk armor? Well, Minthara looks better in Astarion's camp clothes. Fuck you! (Don't ask me what happened to him)

You know for the longest time, the ship between Minthara and Shadowheart has always made me feel weird and I never really knew why. But now that I raided the grove and watched Minthara sit on Shadowheart's face cuddle with Shadowheart, I actually realized how perfect these two are together.
As I've mentioned plenty, they both have some really serious mommy issues, ironically, with their terrible mommies being drow. If Shadowheart forsakes Shar, they both will know what it is like to be so readily discarded and abused by gods that they once worshipped. Especially since Lolth and Shar are very very similar.
Despite all her rants about the gods, Minthara is a very religious person and practically requires some kind of religious or worship type structure in her life. And uh, you wanna know who has a worship kink? And uh, you wanna know who is going to quite literally and unironically pray to Shadowheart?
Aha. Ha ha. HAHAHA!
Yeah, I've changed my mind. These two are actually perfect for each other and in the worst and most toxic way possible. I can't fookin wait to get to Moonrise on my duo run!
