I always find it funny that the ones who have the most chance of being « right » about two people being a possible couple, are also the ones to tend to be the most careful these days with the affirmations (for the most parts, we also have some crazies among us, who doesn’t ?)

And it’s even funnier that we get more and more careful as time goes by, even though so far, time has only done one thing, even in the most unexpected ways (i’m looking at you buddy enlistment), and that is to confirm what we originally thought, times and times again.

But just like all of you, I have my ideas, but I have never held them as « the truth ». Because it’s always been in my mind that only 2 people know the truth, and that’s Jimin and Jungkook. Only they know what their relationship truly is, only they know whom they have shared that with, only they know what their families think, only they know.

Myself, I’m queer enough that in my life, a deep friendship is worth a thousand love stories. So if it turns out they are just the bestest of friends? There will be zero disappointment, just a huge amount of love from me, for people who know that friends are as important as any other relationship.

I think one thing that annoys me is how people (shippers) go from one extreme to another. They go from 'this ship is completely and totally real and shame on you for doubting them' to 'you guys are such dummies for believing this ship is real, they're actually going to sex clubs every Tuesday'. They both stem from the same immutable belief in something that can't be proven. Like can we exercise some judgement? Some nuance? To be honest i don’t really know about this whole dispatch x Bighit agreement. I have heard rumors here and there but i still haven’t been able to find any decisive proof that shows that dispatch did know about Jikook and tried to out them once.

I saw the screenshot of the dispatch couple list from 2017 but i don’t know how true that is or when that list first circulated so i would advice that you take all this information with a grain of salt.

Just saw the minimoni content that just dropped and thought about how beautiful it is that Jimin is someone who makes time for each and every member. You wouldn’t see him only choosing to spend time with one or two people, rather he creates time to bond with everyone.

And anon, you get it 100%. With the other members, he carves out time to do different activities with them which can enable them to spend time with each other and bond but with Jungkook, they enjoy being together whether they are doing something or not.

Like you said, with Jungkook, the don’t need a reason to be together. They just genuinely enjoy being around each other. I remember Jimin saying that Jungkook visited his hotel room alot and say there for about 4 hours at a time doing nothing. Do you know how much you have to enjoy being around someone to just sit there with them doing nothing in particular? That is how you know they are each other’s home. About the loneliness ask. During the pandemic, most people who are extroverted suffered from deep loneliness. Not because they couldn't see their significant others, but because seeing friends and family was a major no no. Also, for someone used to have fun with 70K people around them on a regular basis, I would gather that spending this much time away from ARMY/concerts felt like walking through a desert. I'm an introvert myself, but I feel at my absolute loneliest when I'm at family reunions or the such, which is why I absolutely abhor those things. Alone in the safety of my own home though? I've never ever left lonely, quite the opposite. Loneliness isn't about the people around you, it's about the inner feelings that you have. I'm not saying that's how Jimin felt, and I sure don't know what their living arrangement were during the pandemic, but all I know is that during and after the pandemic, Jimin and Jungkook had become even softer with each other than they were before.

You talk about "where was Jungkook during that loneliness", and my guess is : he was right there, holding Jimin's hand while still letting him feel the feelings that needed to be felt so he could come out stronger at the end of it. That's what loving someone means sometimes. You can't prevent their inner demons from showing up, but you can be there for them to help them through their issues.

Jimin’s album was about the tough times he went through during the pandemic and how he overcame them. So it wasn’t about loneliness in general but loneliness at a particular point in time.

Also anon, people can still feel lonely even when they are surrounded by a room full of people. Feeling lonely doesn’t always mean alone and having a romantic partner doesn’t guarantee one always feeling happy or fulfilled.

I cannot tell you where Jk was at the time and what he was doing because i simply don’t know. We have our suspicions about the nature of Jimin and Jungkook’s relationship but that doesn’t mean we have all the answers. We don’t know when they fought, when they broke up, when they weren’t speaking to each other, hell we don’t even know if Jimin’s relationship with jungkook (whatever it may be) was the reason for his “loneliness” during that time. There is just so much that we don’t know and we don’t know these things because we don’t live under their beds so normalize having some questions which we have no answers for because unless Jimin and Jungkook decide to write a tell-all book someday, some questions that we might have may simply never be answered.

For me, the biggest cause for pause when it comes to jikook has always been Jungkook. He’s the one behind all the big gestures for Jimin (Rosebowl, GCF in Tokyo, MMA 2018, tattooed initials, Rainy Day fight, etc), but it’s his more subtle actions and behaviours that gives jikook’s jikooking a more interesting bent.

For example, in the clip you linked, his eyes are somehow even more expressive than Jimin’s, and that’s really saying something. It almost doesn’t even matter what they were saying, it almost doesn’t even matter where they were or what else was happening around them at the time. The way Jungkook has his attention on Jimin just by the way he looks at him, practically renders all the rest irrelevant.

I'll give jikook antis this - we saw less of them together in public in 2023. This isn't completely unexpected considering how Jimin was probably making pjm2 and also working on the final touches of face and it's promo and JK being totally slammed with working and promoting golden and his singles in the latter half of the year. But everytime we did see them, they seemed way softer with each other than usual don't you think? i often think back to when the members were complaining about jungkook not getting them birthday gifts but getting jimin one. it was funny to me because 2 members had early birthdays and nothing and he shared a birthday month with another and nothing but come the month of his favourite person and he has so much to offer. I think it's heart warming that jimin had brought that out of him, that he wanted to try for him. And after for the next two members he gave them nothing, im sure he's changed now but it was funny. it also gets me thinking about how much he does for jimin in comparison to the rest of the members and as an expression of his love for jimin we have the birth of GCF in Tokyo and all that that trip entails. he takes him on a 4 day trip for his birthday, he pays for it and organises everything from the itinerary to their one bed hotel room. he takes him to Disneyland and sets up an indoor theatre just for them to enjoy and spending the last of his money. (and prior to that they were in Busan with their families who dropped them off) He does this during one of the hardest periods of their lives and a time jimin was especially struggling and then proceeds to post one of the most heartwarming videos ever, essentially telling jimin that he'd always be there for him and that his love would always be reciprocated. All as a surprise for him and he buys the copyrights to the song while having the biggest smile on his face and literally buzzing with excitement at the thought of posting it. Then we have him/them years later talk about the trip as it changed their lives in a book amount the most important milestones of their careers. And they enlisted together at the end of it all. I love them and i love their love.

I mean, i don’t think many jikookers would keep insisting that Jk isn’t dating a woman or has something to do with a woman if they see him kissing a woman or doing something which directly suggests that she is a love interest to him.
