how your college boyfriend takes care of you when you’re sick.

warnings: reader is sick and scara being his usual tsundere self, the rest is all fluff. short headcanons.
ALBEDO — THE CHIEF ALCHEMIST
honestly, there is no one better to take care of you when you’re sick than albedo.
he has knowledge in the medical area and won’t freak out over your temperature raising or when you mumble incoherently in your sleep.
knows exactly which medication will help you. and because he is a gentleman, he always brings it to you with a glass of water and a snack, no matter if you’re bedridden or you’re forcing yourself to keep studying.
if you can’t attend class, don’t worry about falling behind. it doesn’t matter if you two aren’t in the same major; albedo will explain to you anything you don’t understand from your classes, even if he has to study it himself first.
and with albedo’s affections (because he will cuddle you anyway, he assures you his immune system can take it) and his treatments, you will get well and regain your strength in no time!
XIAO — THE YAKSHA, GENERAL ALATUS

seriously though, if you so much as sneeze or cough and he notices you constantly clearing your throat, or your voice being more hoarse, you are now not allowed to leave the bed.
xiao gets so worried, he is so scared something might happen to you :( even if you just have a cold, he won’t want to leave your side. please reassure him you’re going to be okay.
checks your symptoms on the internet and which medication could help. he is a computer science major, so he relies on whatever information he can find, since his area of expertise doesn’t lie in medicine.
if you’re bored but don’t have the strength to do much, xiao will just sit with you in bed, while you watch him play his videogames (and of course you’re wearing his black hoodie with the cat ears on the hood while you lean against his side).
SCARAMOUCHE — KUNIKUZUSHI, THE WANDERER
honestly, he’s like an angry cat (who just really loves you).
at first, complains how you’re so irresponsible (while he prepares some soft blankets for you) and how you don’t know how to care for your health (as he shoves a thermometer into your mouth to check your temperature).
sure, scara, pretend all you want, we know you care.
refuses to let you do anything by yourself. if you want to eat, he makes you soup, if you want to drink, he scolds you not to move while he is already heading to the kitchen to prepare some tea.
and if you thank him or point out he’s being sweet, he blushes hard and mumbles you should spend your energies into getting well soon instead.
like xiao, he’s so scared something serious could happen to you, but he’s also afraid to let himself admit it, so he settles for taking care of you in the meantime, and leaving soft kisses on your temples once you fall asleep (he doesn’t leave your side).

Diluc's phoenix doesn't talk, but it squawks violently at Kaeya and sings really well in the mornings. It also likes to sleep on the candle flame while Diluc does his paperwork! May or may not surprise you by appearing from fireplaces to deliver Diluc's messages. Its favorite thing to do is burn letters.
