The way they met is cute and well he fell in love right away and asked her in date the day after. Even if i love when the guy falls first it was waaaaay to quick. But well you guys will get it later
The way they love each other is so pure and cute. Like he's heavy in love and a little bit possessive while she's inexperienced in love but i like the fact she's not totally dense u know. She's aware of things, she's not stupid, she tries hard and it shows.
They live each other deeply my heart is full of fluff, I can't help not screaming.
They are so so so adorable i love them from all my heart ❤️❤️

This sequence still fucks me up. How, despite the situation being so desperate, how delicately Genos reaches for the collar of Tatsumaki’s dress to drag her away. Even in an emergency, he doesn’t want add any injury to her at all. What a good lad.
What makes it more striking is that Genos isn’t this sweet cinnamon roll (like Mumen is) who avoids violence whenever possible. Nor does he have a heart of gold under a rough exterior. He’s not a nice person. He’s not a particularly empathetic person. He’s fully on board with the idea of resorting to violence early and hard. So to see him finding the idea of inflicting additional pain on Tatsumaki unthinkable is jarring in a good way. It’s not the sort of jar that contradicts what we know, but rather gives us another facet of the character.
I just happen to think that’s pretty neat writing.

Hi, I know he is not in your list but after what happened in the webcomic I need some happy hcs for Doctor Kuseno. Not a x reader, just hcs about him, the pour man deserved better. :(

He was so kind and selfless, why do people like that always get hurt the most? I hope you like them (I added a bit of Genos here too because he is like a grandson to him), we really do need some serotonin after all that 💗

-Although he is very hard-working and constantly pursuing new ways and methods to help Genos and the rest of humanity, he does try his best to engage in some actual relaxing activities
-Poor man loses sleep way too often because of Genos’ recklessness, he really needs a break
-Walking in nature and enjoying the scenery is an excellent method for relaxation, and he uses it whenever he can
-It’s nice not having to worry about anything even for a brief moment, just staring at the treetops and listening to all those cute birds chirping happily
-Maybe he even has a notebook to write down all the species he saw and their behaviors
-More than once a few birds landed on his head as if it were a nest or something sjsjdjssjk but hey he’s used to it
-Now that I think about it it’s kinda wholesome
-Though if he doesn’t have the time or if the weather is nasty, a good book is just as enjoyable
-Loves mysteries, historical fiction and it goes without saying he adores sci-fi
-Speaking of which it wouldn’t be surprising if he wrote a book or two himself, probably about all the scientific research and conclusions he’s made over the years
-From a young age he loved reading, and seeing so much writing evolve and develop into new things is rather pleasing and fascinating
-Finds inspiration from there. After all it’s an endless ocean of knowledge
-He could read a pretty mediocre or crappy book and still find things in there that were worth reading
-More than once he’s wished for a reality where he and Genos live peacefully without constant threats (totally didn’t cry when I read that part in the chapter ahaha..)
-After he saved Genos’ life sure they have been through a lot and worked together closely, however they had moments where they could just sit-back and enjoy life too
-Honestly the only thing that could soothe Genos’ nerves at that time was Kuseno’s fatherly, caring demeanor
-After a long, tiring day the doctor telling Genos stories from his past (both the inspiring and tense ones) while the latter listens oh so attentively
-Thinking about it now, it’s rather bittersweet
-And even later on, despite both having busy schedules (this refers to our blond cyborg more, especially since his hero registration) Dr. Kuseno does try to spend some quality time with him if possible
-Also, Kuseno may have even had a journal to write down his adventures, mostly from his early age of course
-Looking at that journal and living through those adventures again from time to time is something he enjoys
-Genos read some of them too, and they definitely gave him more inspiration and resolve to reach his goals. After all, the doctor is one admirable person

Genos and Tatsumaki have such a sibling vibe, i can't even. And she called him by his real name, not the hero one! also, do you think Zanbai will be made to a cyborg later by organization?
The Genos + Tatsumaki moment was prob my fav highlight of the chapter! x'3 He saves her from getting crushed by BS just like in the wc, and he gets slammed away (where you'd might worryingly expect him to break on impact just like in the wc) until....buaha awesome fakeout! 8D
This was such a hilarious and pleasant surprise! (Buaha Genos pls! Plus I'm so glad he didn't break here!) I love the callback to the same 'stand up from buried in the ground' move he did vs Garou at the shed fight before, but also...look at Tatsumaki's stunned o___o face as she calls his name (!) and sits there with her hands raised ready to help him. :'3 ahaha love it. (Manga Genos continually surpassing everyone's expectations~) Including the little 'contemporary art proof' joke lampshading how his tough new body resists getting broken to pieces. (Much improved over his wc counterpart!) Even building on the time she sent him crashing into the rocks way back before...ahh! :D What a cute all-around moment of him protecting her, her worried for him, and their mutual support/cooperation/acknowledgment with a touch of light sibling-like banter~ LOOK AT THEM!! Working back to back and getting along on the same team! I had hoped for more good teamwork payoff from them! Love it. x3
While for your second point..oooOOHhh;;; welp...the one unfortunate victim to FU's violently lethal acid spray...D8 Considering what it did to his face/skull all the way through, ahh;; I'm willing to think that's permanently unrecoverable. No fancy cyborgization can fix a melted brain. (Not even Genos!) So ooh;; this looks like a pretty bad fatality (and not to a hero, but one of the swordsmen who showed up to help...oh no.) And there all their swords go melted from the acid too! I fear the carnage/casualties won't end here... But I'm hoping Genos + Tatsumaki still put in a great fight vs that with their no-contact combined repertoire!

Senpai! I've been following you forever because of your awesome anime and seiyuu gifsets!!! And in so much joy when I discover that you read Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare manga and you ship Yuna x Rio as well
PS: I had this ask for a long time (when chapter 16 was out) but I decided to post this after seeing the chapter 18 raws to confirm if my assumption about Agatsuma was right!! Also spoilers ahead about chapter 18 (with my translation) at the end

That’s when Agatsuma comes in. Here’s the reason why I think Agatsuma might start liking Yuna also I’m basing it on how Sakisaka-sensei made the friendzoned characters from her past shoujo manga titles like Touma (Ao Haru Ride) and Andou (Strobe Edge).
First, his appearance in the manga obviously! If you reread Chapter 06, you can pretty see that Agatsuma and Shiba didn’t draw with their eyes yet when they were with Rio, until Yuna went to confront Rio and Agatsuma was beside him.
He didn’t do much since Shiba is the one creating a drama, but at that moment where Agatsuma appeared, I feel like his gonna do something more, which I was right because of Chapter 09!!
He noticed Yuna right away! Let’s be honest here, there’s no way that he could’ve noticed her by meeting her just once, but he did. Maybe Agatsuma got her attention on how she handled herself when the drama with Shiba started from Chapter 06 ^^
Because second, he and Yuna finally got to interact when they were at the goukon.
Okay, I have so many things to say about their interaction *O* The way Yuna reacted when she looks where Agatsuma surprised me. That’s also the reason why I think he’s more than just a minor character in the manga. I mean if Sakisaka-sensei only plans to make Agatsuma a character to be Rio’s friend, she should have drawn Yuna in one panel turning her head at the side, but obviously, we got more than that.
Also Agatsuma is sparkling when he introduced himself to Yuna. And then, I noticed that their interaction in every panel have sparkling effects since they’re talking about how she’s changing and he’s just there telling her that ‘It’s fine to get used to it’ and ‘It’s fine to not rush these things, right?’
So after their interaction in Chapter 09, we can definitely see that Agatsuma and Yuna got closer plus Shiba.
Also I just want to point this out from their sports marathon in chapter 12, but Agatsuma’s expression here made me curious? Somehow he’s wondering if Rio will go with Yuna to check up on Akari and then he starts to walk away when Rio said he wouldn’t go.
And now, this is all where all my assumption about Agatsuma liking Yuna is really happening. The moment when Rio talk to Shiba and Agatsuma about the dream he had.
We got Agatsuma with an answer about a bug theory (this is my own translation from this post because the English translation that I saw in some manga sites interpret it differently), where he’s trying to say that someone will try to make that dream not to happen. Which made me think that he’s foreshadowing himself that he’s the bug, because after that conversation, we got this.
If you read that part in a Japanese context, it actually shows that Agatsuma envies them (in a friendly way) since Shiba will be going with his girlfriend so he feels a bit left out and that’s why he wanted to go to the festival with Yuna and the others since they’re going as group of friends.
And again, I want to point this out! Sakisaka-sensei showed Agatsuma while Shiba totally got covered with the speech bubble in this panel. It’s like she wanted us to see Agatsuma’s reaction about what Kazu said since Rio lied to Yuna that he knew about the festival from Kazu.
That’s why Agatsuma asked Shiba for a confirmation if it would be okay for him to go with them at the festival cause maybe he feels like he’ll be in the way.
Then here comes chapter 18 where Agatsuma had more panels than he had in the past chapters!!
And now, let’s have a bit of Agatsuma trying to be in the way between Rio and Yuna, which I find it really cute though >w

Giving his all to shield and protect the injured seriously! Bodily tanking hits and not even fighting back as he cradles her from getting further hurt, and soon he takes over the duties of carrying Tank Top Master to safety too.
But don’t count Tatsumaki out yet…! Somehow still, even gravely injured and tired herself, she’ll also return the favor to keep them safe. :’)
