I’m not too sure if I’ve posted these on here before but I will now😭 (IM SO SORRY FOR BEING DEAD- I HAVENT WRITTEN ANY FICS CUZ IVE HAD NO MOTIVATION- IF I HAVENT GOTTEN TO YOUR REQUEST I AM SO SORRY-)
here are two poems that I’ve written!
The Little Things You Do
The little things you do, they bring me comfort, they bring me joy.
The way you laugh and giggle, stuff of that sort.
It’s clear you love music, it's what you’re passionate about.
As much as you play beautifully, it’s almost as great as when you don't make a sound.
Your foot, it taps to the tempo, your head moves along.
Your head seems to be bopping to that exact song.
Though your playing tops the silence, It's still the same.
It’s beautiful, It’s mellow, It’s free.
Oh how I wish you would reciprocate,
wish you’d feel the same for me.
The little things you do, maybe just a simple smile.
It makes me all giddy,
filled with so much energy I could run a whole mile.
While your actions are sweet and silly,
they create comfort much more.
For all the little things you do,
make my heart ache for yours.
When it comes to her.
When it comes to her,
my heart is full, it starts to race.
My cheeks go red, then my whole face.
I start to remember a certain memory. Our first meeting, embedded in my brain, that of a melody.
For her smile is too beautiful to bear
Her sense of humor, something we share.
Her laugh, too sweet to resist without laughing along
Her voice, I could listen to it as if it were a song.
When it comes to her,
my mind goes blank.
I can’t speak a word, my mind starts playing pranks.
For how I wish to hold her, hold her hand.
Oh how I would serenade her, acquire a whole band.
For everything about her, it makes me still.
When it comes to her, I wish to disappear.
I feel unworthy of her sweet gaze, she’s too wonderful, she sets my heart ablaze.
For I long to tell her how exactly I feel….
I’m afraid.
Her words.
They’ll stab.
They’ll hurt.
So I shall continue to long, to wish.
Because when it comes to her, all I can do is wish.
