Saw that post about transmascs and how ppl need to talk more about vaginal atrophy and how it's easily treatable with estrogen cream without affecting your HRT and it got me thinking about how none of us transfems seem to talk about dick atrophy either and how it's also easily treatable with topical testosterone cream provided you're not taking a T blocker (so on a GnRH agonist, estradiol monotherapy, or have had bottom surgery). Without T you don't get that passive tissue maintenance so unless you want to get hard every other day for the rest of your life to keep it healthy you're kinda screwed and erections can become really painful, let alone the change in length/shape. So yeah ask about topical testosterone.

can ppl guess what my fav flower is its not sunflowers i promise. gosh how i hated drawing the background 😭 literally half of the time i spent on this is the background itself 💀 but i finally got to the point where im satisfied to just leave it be lol
i have midyear exams for two weeks wish me luck, i will be limiting myself from drawing and actually study so i dont fail 🧎♀️

Close your eyes and count to 30.
Next, open your eyes slightly, so only a sliver of them is open like a half-moon shape.
Count to five as you hold them slightly open.
Fully close your eyes again and count to 30.
Open your eyes halfway again and count to five.
Close your eyes one more time and focus on your breath.
Slowly breathe in and out through your nose, and you should drift off to sleep.

its a sleep trick that basically involved mimicking some of the behaviors that happen right before sleep to basically tell the brain oh its time to shut up. the article talks about how to to it and the mechanisms of why it works, but does mention that it works best as an occasional trick and may not work as well for people with true insomnia.

I might try it, but the main reason I can't fall asleep rn is that I got overstimulated from being tired and it got so bad I got a fucking meltdown and now I am back at square one where I am too tired to relax and sleep
Happens reraly with me, I usually know where my "point of no return" is, so I go sleep before that, but this time another person was asking me up constantly as I was just falling asleep so uhhhh... great experience

someone I follow on the bird app just announced they're starting a very exclusive private fic server because they and a bunch of other people want to talk about how much they love the fics they're reading, and as an author can I just say that a really great place to talk about a fic you love is in the comments for that fic
I understand that people are trying to create safe spaces, but as the number of comments that I get on my fics dwindles with each passing year, knowing these spaces exist where my fics are being discussed, places that I am excluded from, makes me want to write fic LESS
I mean I guess who cares, right, because if I stop writing, there's 10,000 other people that will continue...but if you participate in a fic "book club" server and you say nice things there about a fic you loved, maybe copy and paste that into a comment on AO3?
the only thing fanfic writers are asking for in return for hours of hard work is attention. please don't rob us of the one thing that we hope for when we hit "post"
