I am constantly in awe (jealousy) of some people's ability to articulate their thoughts. I just want to contribute to the plethora of funny/intriguing posts that flood my timeline after a drama drops a new episode, but everything gets all jumbled up in my brain.

Living With Him Ep 8 (Finale) Stray Thoughts
Last week, Kazuhito decided to preemptively reject himself for Natsukawa even as Natsukawa was trying to confess, and then the plot contrivances arrived to separate them ,as Natsukawa decided to abandon all of the talking to each other of the early half of the show, before going into a spiral from a heteronormative comment from Kazuhito's mom. All this happened instead of Kazuhito waking from his sick slumber and saying, "I've always relied on you." Instead we ended on a missed running moment.
We are in such a weird space with them right now. I'm not sure I know what all is bogging down Natsukawa in terms of his own goals around Kazuhito. He likes him, but there was the mom comment on top of the Kazuhito self rejection.
Yes, Haruna, please save this boy from another spiral.
I really like Haruna a lorz and really wish this conversation had happened an episode or two ago. This does not feel like a finale problem.
Haruna I think wanted to get punched so he could hold it over Kazuhito forever.
"I want to be with you forever" feels like way too much for how slow the last few episodes have been.
Cutesy pecks after the way that man exhaled in episode 3?? Please be serious!
Not Haruna welcoming her aboard the ship.
Why did the mom ask that weird question last week if she was going to give the yukata of approval?
Man, what was the point of dragging out the last three episodes if we were going to rush the getting together portion?
Final Verdict: 6, This Should Have Been a Contender. Truly, episode 3 was one of my favorite episodes of BL in a long time, and I can't believe this show wasted that. Episode 4 having them be awkward around each other felt correct, and then this show meandered around for three episodes only to blitz to the end. The show is called Living With Him and I feel like they should have let us live through their transition. They handled the actual admission of feelings so quickly. There's so little time spent in Kazuhito releasing feelings he's held for so long. This doesn't feel correct at all! What a letdown. This could have been one of the best BLs of all time and now it's just going to be forgotten. That sucks, because I really liked Sato Ryuga's performance.
