That second sentence, more than anything else, shows just how badly Terry wants Daniel’s heart. It’s not enough to just have him physically, which is longed for desperately, but to be loved in return is the most desperate desire of all. Terry strikes me as a very lonely man even in CK who is the definition of someone who has everything but really nothing at all. At least here he has the chance to have his heart’s desire and I honestly hope he gets it.

In Mercy — A while back you said you thought about having Daniel been in therapy at one point and Terry getting access to Daniel’s old therapy tapes.
Which lead me to think — It’s established in CK that Terry’s been in therapy, and I feel like at some point his stalking and harassment of Daniel had to have come up, right?
“I spent months terrorizing a teenager over a high school karate tournament. It sounds insane just talking about it.”
How do you think Terry’s past therapy sessions concerning Daniel went? What do HIS therapy tapes say?
I think Terry would have had his therapist sign a Non disclosure agreement before he even saw him and still had the tapes confiscated and burned 😆
Probably let the therapist know he had blackmail material on him, just for good measure.

The tension between Daniel and Terry in Mercy destroys me. Even the most mundane moments between them have an air of sensuality. It’s so good! Terry has really been behaving himself lately but it’s apparent he is barely restraining himself from ravishing Daniel senseless. Ahhh Danny boy is such a tease without even being aware. He doesn’t need to play a femme-fatale when he is by nature one…and worse, he is totally unaware of it.
He’s behaving because he’s making some progress and can touch Daniel now - not in an overtly sexual way but even to just be able to get close to him now and put a hand on his or on his face (even if so far most of those have been due to Daniel being in a sort of shock) he couldn’t do that before.
Daniel is his most alluring when at his most unassuming I think 🤔

I am 100% team "Daniel is very much in love with Terry and has been since he was a teenager, but due to the pain of KK3 and the brutality of the current situation, fails to realize his own feelings and pushes them further and further away unconsciously, but they keep rising up and are slowly but surely threatening to spill over". Also: Stockholm Syndrome is a given for him in my opinion, and that has resulted in further trauma bonding between him and Terry.
If only Daniel would let himself be swept off his feet by Terry. The man is a romantic! Let him woo you, Daniel!! become the bodice ripper heroine you were always destined to be!!!!!!!!
