💖Happy Valentine's Day💖
This was my trade for the @goodomensafterdark Valentines Exchange, some ineffable husbands during the regency era. A little bit of spicy nakedness but still very mild
Let's hope this soirée gets them somewhere 😈
When you see a discarded lollipop on the ground and think of Simon Eriksson and then one minute later you see a ketchup packet on the ground and think of Simon Eriksson again
I really think Charles' romantic crush started on Edwin right after Edwin confessed, and they were back to safety.
Like, this scene after on the roof where there's distance between them but Charles gives this little smile and kind of looks away bashfully after?
Along with
Edwin: Charles, I apologize if my confession created--
Charles: --it didn't
Like that's a great friendship-relief moment, which is mostly how I've been seeing it so far
But!!! Charles deeply loves his friends, and I feel like he's in a bashful state of Edwin's feelings starting to sink in now that they're in the calm after the storm.
And maybe "it didn't" isn't just "it's okay we're still friends and I don't want that to change."
Maybe "it didn't" is also starting to become "on the contrary: my feelings about you are only becoming more loving."

The second major place we see him realizing he's developing feelings is when he reflects the hand on his chest
He seems reflective and genuinely surprised at himself
Everything feels different and carries a new weight to him after Edwin's confession
“The other [scene that stands out above the rest] involved a handsome man, asking a dancing couple if he could cut in. The female partner, expecting his attention, agrees, only to see him dance with her male partner. Jolson then flaps his wrist and says, “Boys will be boys. Woo!”. This scene almost caused the Production Code to reject the film, and was featured in the opening scenes of the documentary film The Celluloid Closet (1996).”
I guess here King Arthur was a real dude who became legend after his death (in which demons and angels might have been involved). Our heroes now have a mystery to solve, with the help of a certain sorcerer.......
Hey man sorry about your male co-star. Turns out you guys had too much sexual tension on screen so he was written into a lazy, heterosexual romance arc that lacks chemistry and depth and actually just makes him look even more queer tbh. Now he's off pretending to be happy with somebody else when the love of his life was right there all along. I'm so sorry dude. It will probably happen again :/
every scene with monty and esther feels like from a 2000s romcom about a moody teenager, living with his divorced mom or aunt, who used to be prom queen or something, that married rich and is telling him to find a rich husband so life'll work out while he's falling for the quiet nerd in the back of the class, she wouldn't approve of
Some more new FanArt for the season, as a treat 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈✨❤️🔥
ENJOY, VILLAINS!
I did art from the animation not Stevenson’s original work not out of disrespect to anyone, I just found the animation first! But thanks to all for making me ugly cry on my couch 🫠
