Stills from Speech Impasse, 2021
Made in collaboration with composer Joshua Biggs, using their visual scores as performance prompts. A third party then described each movement, and a recording of their voice was transformed into an instrumental score for the video.

In the Permanent Collection (excerpts)

Double-sided lino print and Inkjet print on paper, A4.
Exhibited as part of the group show Sunday Service at GUS Gallery, Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
The top image shows a lino cut mindmap - an attempt to visualise areas of thought and research. The bottom image features excerpts from a much longer series of poems which began in reaction to the display of Claude Cahun's work in the exhibition Queer British Art held at the Tate Britain in 2017. It also contains lines from an unpublished short story about cannibalism and desire.
