pairing: toji x college student!reader
in which toji comforts you while you're stressed out over an assignment, inspired by an ask i received but can't find anywhere :(

Toji, although unfamiliar with the struggles of long days of studying, gruelling assessments and the overall lacklustre life of being a student, stood beside your desk as you typed away. He knew it was taking a toll on you and as the bright screen illuminated the dark room, he slipped into the darkness only to return with a cup and bowl in his hands. Placing them onto your desk, he began massaging your shoulders. Sure, he wasn't the greatest at cooking but making a cup of hot chocolate and throwing together some leftover food isn't that hard, right?
"Y'know you should eat that before it goes cold," he muttered, standing amongst the darkness as he began massaging your shoulders.
"I would love to but-" You melted into his touch when his calloused hands soothed the tension that had accumulated over these past weeks. As you looked behind to see his soft smile, he ruffled your hair.
"But what?" He stared longingly, "Too afraid I poisoned it?" Playfully slapping his chest at his joke, Toji leaned over the desk before turning the swivel chair towards him. Toji had never been the greatest cook, yet the hoot food looked edible, perhaps even appetizing. Nothing was burnt surprisingly as you slurped the hot noodles he stared at you, leaning from above.
You always knew he was seen as an intimidating man, yet at this moment you glanced at his green eyes fondly before basking in the new domesticity you both shared. The drink was still warm to the touch when you began sipping it, it all felt like home. It was an all-familiar feeling, you longed for - his hands kneading your aching muscles. The comfort of this seemingly rugged man had soothed your stresses. At this moment it was only you and him that existed, nothing else mattered.
“Come on,” he mumbled as he grabbed you from the chair, carrying you over his shoulder. “Let’s take a bath; you still need a break.” Succumbing to the urge, you let him take you to the bathroom where his hands gently grazed over your zipper before removing your clothing for you. Whilst stepping into the tub, Toji scrummaged for something he misplaced.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing," there was definitely something wrong.
"Toji if you don't tell me I-"
"Found it," his gleeful smile caught you off-guard as he began pouring the bubble soap into the tub. Soon after Toji joined you in the bathtub, massaging your scalp as he whispered sweet nothings into your ear. You never wanted this moment to end. After the mountain pile of assignments and the lack of sleep, this was pure bliss. Simple yet you could have fallen asleep in his arms right then and there.
You both wished this moment would last forever, and just for a second, between the two of you time stood still.

clueless!choso and modern technology
imagine choso struggling so hard with adapting to life in the modern age. he swears up and down that he knows what he is doing but his brain gets overwhelmed at the sight of a phone. it definitely takes him a while to adjust relearning everything and with the help of itadori, who sometimes makes fun of his clueless older bother, choso eventually learns how to message you. he'd start messaging dryly before he learnt about the existence of emoticons and soon enough he would send texts like "please come over i miss youuuu (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ" and "sorry to bother but i feel so lonely (╯︵╰,) can you come over pleaseeee (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ???"
he learns to show his animated personality through his texts. sometimes he reminds you of an overgrown baby but he does have really outdated vocab, he will pull out a word that just makes you go: ???
he does not understand any slang, choso just is so clueless and needs your help!!! at the end of the day he's your baby, just wait until he finds out he can face time you >_<

just a little gojo thought, but
insecure!gojo definitely has an anxious attachment style. his teenage years had him defined as 'the strongest' so much to the point that it was his entire identity. satoru has insecurities and a fear of abandonment that consumes him despite his 'carefree' personality.
like he would never verbally say it but satoru exhibits his insecurities through his actions, his smile can be a facade whilst his loud and boisterous persona is mask at times. he tries his best to not make you worry about what bothers him due to his fear that you will see him as something foreign, something 'weak'. so he overcompensates through his 'sunshine' like character.
you're not naive, neither is he yet he has convinced himself that you will leave him once you realise he is not the strongest but rather someone that has emotions that can overtake him at points. his way of being carefree leads to him being rigid as his thoughts engulf his entire being. it leads to him disassociating at points, as he struggles with his internal conflicts of wanting to be perceived by you as the strongest yet wanting to be comfortable enough to confide in you when things go wrong.
deep down he knows you wont just leave him yet there are whispers in his mind that consume him at night, that tell him that he has to craft this image of a strong, charismatic man or otherwise you will abandon him for the next best thing.
he doesn't know why but the thoughts never go away, they eat at him at night, leaving him in a cold sweat whilst you sleep beside him.

also this is inspired by a tiktok i remember seeing months ago saying satoru was the type of person to overshare trivial things that held no meaning while he undershares and struggles with communicating what is wrong with him and i def agree but please lmk if you've seen that tiktok so i can credit the user for this idea
also also sorry if this has any typos it was done hastily also idk if i should continue this 🙈

just a little gojo thought, but

Soft Toji movie night cuddling + kisses!!!
so sorry if this isnt good + this took so long to write, but here you go <3

i like to think toji would be the type of man who's love language is quality time (and acts of service). he seems to me as a man that struggles with expressing his love and appreciation verbally, opting to show it through his actions.
one way he does this is by planning a movie night once in a while. you both work and looking after a tiny toddler is no small feat. however, nights like these when megumi is fast asleep in his bed, toji loves to reheat the leftovers from dinner or order some take out as you scroll on your phone on the couch.
once he grabs your blankets and places the hot food on the coffee table he then dims the lights and places little pillows on the floor making what he'd call a makeshift fort. although he seems like a brooding man, toji has had a rough life prior to meeting you, his childhood was taken away from him at an early age so these quiet nights around your company allowed him to relax.
the type of movie he'd put on depends on his mood, BUT i can see him wanting to watch comedy movies from the 90s, (because the man is ancient but also because he missed out on watching a lot of these films due to his complicated childhood). every time there's a joke he lets out a hearty laugh but that's only when hes actually focused on the movie and not on you.
he would be the type of man to smother you in little kisses when you're alone in the dark room. he always has a hand on you, on your thigh, your hip or an arm draped over your shoulder.

eventually the movie is forgotten as the two of you enjoy the night together, snuggled between the multiple blankets and a top the pillows that surround you two.

Soft Toji helping his s/o (or fem reader) who suffers horrible migraines
hi my luv!!! this is longer than expected, also i have never experienced having migraines so im sorry if this is inaccurate
(reminder that requests are open)
soft!toji who notices the pain you attempt to hide from him. at first he'd seem offended as to why you hadn't told him what was wrong, especially when it was blatant.
soft!toji who could clearly see you wince in pain as you're sitting on the floor of your living room playing with megumi whilst the television plays in the background.
soft!toji who realises the noise coming from the television didn't help as the sounds rang in your ear whilst the little boy sat beside you blabbering gibberish. he was at that stage where he was talkative yet didn't speak actual words.
he noticed your lack of energy and decided to grab megumi, deciding it was time the two of them to go for a walk only after turning the tv off.
soft!toji who goes to the pharmacy with megumi to buy you pain killers and an assortment of random medicine he thinks will help with your pain. he buys everything because he doesn't know which one is most effective.
soft!toji and megumi who go to the nearby convenience store to grab your favourite snacks, and some tea in hopes that it will soothe your pain. when the two come back home to you on the couch near tears, toji instructs megumi to play with his toys in his room, afraid that the child would see you in a sad mood.
soft!toji who grabs you a glass of cold water urging you to drink it before taking your medication, after you take it he holds you in his arms with his calloused gently placed on your forehead. he checks for a fever and is relieved when you seem to be fine.
soft!toji who rocks you back and forth whispering sweet nothings to you as you tell him about how you were scared to tell him about your migraines. how you wanted to play with megumi yet the intensity of the throbbing in your head made it too difficult to do.
soft!toji who tells you it's okay and that you should probably tell him when you're in pain because he's your man, and what good of a partner would he be if he couldn't comfort the love of his life.
soft!toji who whispers to you how much he loves and appreciates you after you've fallen asleep on his lap.

little soft!toji thought bc im so in love with him (written in like 10 mins lol)
toji imo is a character that is often looked at as one dimensional, i personally love to think of how toji would be like in love. how soft and caring he'd be.
i think he'd love to tell these corny dad jokes that only make him laugh but you eventually chuckle at how proud he looks for that joke. he seems like he'd be a lot more "goofy" for a lack of a better term and carefree once he finally realises that you're in it for the long run and that he can be comfortable and vulnerable with you.
i personally think that he would be the type of man to stare at you while you're on your phone beside him, with him just admiring you. or the type to just love basking in each others company. to me he doesn't seem like he'd talk much in these moments rather he'd just appreciate all that you have offered him, a fresh start and a life that he could start to look forward to.
