-The records Akari just stole, from the Imagawa clan's library, with everything that's going on no one is controlling anything right now and I manage to get hold of forbidden documents.
-The birth records?
-From the Meiji era onwards, the Aurora branch of the family was the main branch many years ago until an enemy clan cursed them forcing them to change branches.
-The curse of the seven impure...
-That's right but there is something else that fed my curiosity and now everything is clear. The seventh curse, the one that Aurora possesses, was also possessed by a woman almost two hundred years ago of which there are practically no records, it only says that her nickname was “Guido” and she was sold to the Kamo clan when she was very young, the Imawaga sold her for a special deal with... Noritoshi Kamo.
-She was...
-The only woman on record to possess a “cursed womb” but now I'm sure Aurora is the second to possess it as well, the seventh curse, after all, is almost a mystery as to how it works.
-I thought his interest in her was just his eye technique.
-Which I ruined? Aurora is blind, she's of no use to me anymore.
-...
-But discarding it is not an option. Things may turn against me in no time, after all outside this bubble things keep getting worse and worse and every time I go out I only find annoyances, and let's not talk about the fact that I don't know what Aurora did to Gojo's body before I took her. I have no idea if that bastard is really dead.
-What's the point?
-Descendancy, I'm not about to leave this world and make all those damn sorcerers happy ever after, obviously I'm going to fuck their lives up to my last breath.
-And how do you know she owns one of those wombs?
-Do you doubt me?

And what do we have here? Well, the beginning of what will be a new stage of RAN and as you will see, a very interesting one…
It was time to join ends and I knew that sooner or later I would use this publication of “Horse Race” for this part of the story, I didn't know how until last week, after the last CAP of the manga came out I decided how Aurora's story (possibly far from what is happening in the manga for various reasons) would begin to take its way.
So… Sukuna has a plan (he is always one step ahead of everyone) and Uraume tells him about it but… how is he going to execute it?
PS: I stopped writing years ago but I think I'll take up again the practice to make these little dialogues between the characters accompanied by drawings, I think I'll be able to explain things much better.
Horse racing
The name Ran means "orchid" (蘭) and is the name of this short graphic novel.
Ran's name is inspired more exactly by the black orchids, which are the most exotic within their kind, moreover, there is some symbolism with The Garden of Earthly Delights (Bosch's painting) and all its hidden meanings, in part and summarized: the most beautiful orchids in the hands of man.

|| We have more around here and we have her name! "She" is Aurora Imagawa, a special grade sorceress with a very very scandalous past but who is currently in Sukuna's hands... we'll find out why.
So who is Guido? An ancestor of Aurora's who had her same curse, who we know here as "the Meiji era girl" but now has a temporary name and will have a story to tell us about her... and her favorite son, Choso.
The story of Guido and Aurora can be interspersed, sometimes there will be drawings of Aurora, and others of Guido, I'm not doing things in chronological order because I would have to explain a lot of things and sometimes I like to keep the mystery.
Some notes:
♡Guido was born with a very out of the ordinary beauty, she has a sleepy and tired look most of the time but is a very astute young lady.
♡Her mother was very annoyed with her horse because it was not straight like her sisters and not black like hers, she has a very dark auburn warmth in her hair, also, her eyebrows are a bit thick breaking with the beauty standards of the time.
♡Her eyes are light blue, her mother says she is "too much water" bad omen, she should have been born with brown eyes like her sisters, rooted to the earth like the cherry tree.
♡Aurora has one of Guido's moles, the one next to her lip.

Thanks to everyone who is supporting these drawings, I really appreciate it very much and I hope to continue working with this story because I would like to show you more things and make it your afternoon novella! something to read for a while and think during the day.
I saw a lot of people excited to write inspired by this story and I just want to say one thing: take your pen and do it!
And remember: if you publish it don't hesitate to tag me so I can see it, I would love to be able to read it and even be able to continue to be inspired for storytelling.
I'm very excited to inspire more artists with my graphic pieces, in a way it's my goal to take care of the details, the scenes, the gestures of each drawing, because I want you to feel it as much as I do (this is also closely related to why Aurora's face is so little seen or always covered, keeping her face gives that air of mystery and gives way to the possibility of imagining that she could be your OC or... you).

How it would be your birthday with your close people and how it would be with Sukuna (obviously Sukuna would bring all the flowers you like just to let you know that even though he doesn't give you daily love gestures, he knows how to make you feel special)

Aurora's birthday is between May 20th and 26th🎂 , only Narumi knows what day exactly but obviously the information escaped and in that week she was receiving congratulations, the real surprise was when Satoru arrived with a box for her where there was different things that the others had been leaving to give her a gift according to her tastes, almost everything in that box was adapted for Aurora (for example, Nanami gave her a book with pages full of cuts and textured papers, Aurora loves it and doesn't mind that it looks like a children's book ⭐), but at the bottom of that box there was a Polaroid camera, which was Satoru's gift, and although it doesn't make much sense for a person who can't see to take pictures, Satoru keeps them in an album and from time to time he usually looks at them to see what things Aurora found interesting that day, many pictures don't even make sense or are in focus but he knows that for her that was something special, so he took a picture 📸

I'm sure that in a few days, when I have things clearer, I'll make some drawings regarding how Aurora's lore continues, honestly, deep down I knew he wasn't going to come back :c not as I would have wished, but I think it was worse this way, because being used this way saddens me too much.
Anyway, reviving or not, I already had planned what was going to happen for them in this story, with what was just published in the manga, many things I have planned are going to make a lot more sense.
It's now, when I would say, the night falls over Aurora and I would like to make (if I'm really able to because I get sentimental about it) some drawings to represent what happened to her in the battle of Shinjuku.
This conversation she had with him months before everything went off the rails, that's where she realizes that somehow, she has to be ready to change things if something happens to him.

This drawing is part of Aurora's lore.
Aurora and Gojo's relationship is quite dynamic, they really are compatible people without having clarified who they really are (things just flow for them).
Before RAN, Aurora got used to being together with Gojo and felt comfortable with him, there was no need to hide anything from him.
To Gojo, Aurora is an enigmatic girl, someone who can know how to kill you just by looking at you but he had never heard of her name or her existence until just months ago.
Besides, the spark ignited in him 🔥 when he realized that Aurora could stand up to his technique to some extent, there was no need to protect her, he actually found comfort for the emptiness he felt.
Note: Aurora HATES to be looking up while they're doing it, mostly because she feels insecure not being able to see what's going on, so Satoru tells her what he's going to do next so she won't be caught off guard, but when she starts to feel uncomfortable he lets her turn her back.

Well, it's obvious that Aurora has Gojo deeply rooted in her thoughts and it's not for less, because if we analyze everything, Sukuna snatched everything she had out of selfishness (he could have killed her quietly but he didn't).
Aurora has a good relationship with Akari because she is curious how a curse has such a level of consciousness without being fully aware of it (like Choso, Mahito, etc). While Akari has full reasoning, it's pretty basic, so it doesn't make her a danger.
Aurora usually tells her about her life and Akari listens, but so does Sukuna since after those talks she asks Akari to tell her about what they talked about, since Uraume can't get a single word out of Aurora (As Uraume does have full reasoning Aurora wants her away).
Aurora can please Sukuna in bed and sometimes obey what he says, but she really feels lost, because her emotions are not clear could she really love a curse that took everything from her?
Besides, she has also noticed that inside the room they start to treat her with more respect, almost as if her presence is that of someone important, what is changing in her environment?
There are no more concubines roaming the corridors, she no longer hears comments against her, everything seems to be calm and every whim she wants, is fulfilled, almost like a queen…

Bonus: We are entering Aurora's week I would say, we are only days away from her birthday, and although no one knows the exact date except Narumi, she only gave the information that it is almost at the end of the month, therefore, you can congratulate her on any day from May 20 to May 26.
This drawing will be ready in a few days to celebrate this event and let's see what gift Gojo has prepared for the occasion.

Guys! I have something to ask you before I go to bed and keep adjusting it 🤔.
In the next chap of RAN I already want to introduce Gojo (an important piece in Aurora's lore) little by little and these first steps will be mostly mentions but... here you guys come in and you will decide:
How do you think Sukuna will take the idea that Aurora still has him so present?
A) She'll feel jealous of those thoughts and a bit angry and want to change that.
B) He's not really jealous of that but he's a little irritated that he's not the center of Aurora's attention (he's center of the world, you have to understand 🤣)
You guys are going to decide what curve we take here.

🖤 Narumi feels the need to help whoever is in trouble, she has the gift of listening to people and with her students it is always like that.
At first Megumi didn't like the idea of sharing his problems with a stranger but as time went by he understood that Narumi is a trustworthy person and makes him feel comfortable.
(Narumi sometimes takes him to places he likes so Magumi can be more open and talk about himself and how he feels, she knows that even though it is her job as a psychologist she enjoys it just as much).

Note: this AU will be called peach because that's what I imagine when I think of Narumi, someone sweet and delicate, plus it gives me vibes to the first days of summer and sunny afternoons 🌻
