Rosas is an already an existing kingdom way before Magnifico and Amaya’s reign. They have a reputation of being a very hospitable and welcoming area where people from all around can stop by, visit or even settle.

I think books and information about wildlife from other parts of the world are easily accessible so I reckon Asha and most of the people have heard of descriptions about certain animals foreign from the Iberian Peninsula. Still, I think Asha would still be amazed at the sight of one since reading about something and actually seeing it for yourself are highly different experiences.

Sueño has only grown up watching from the sky for 12 years before getting captured so memories of other animals are kind of vague. Plus, there are multiple other universes in the Astral Realm where animals are a whole lot different than this world. (*coughs* Zootopia for example.)

So he’s not exactly sure how the rules and society for animals work in this specific world he’s stuck in.

Soooooo, I think Asha is more familiar with the animals of her world than Sueño is. Because most of the animal forms he does shift into are 80% wrong. If you remember, Sueño’s shapeshifting magic works by creating the form from scratch and from memory. Conversations regarding animal forms typically go like this:

“I think you should shift into something subtle. Like a rabbit….No. Put the antlers away. No. The tail is too long. Not that. Rabbits aren’t the size of a horse. What kind of rabbits have you been seeing?!”

“What are you supposed to be now? What?? I should know. That is NOT a goat.”

“That’s adorable but I’ve read somewhere that penguins are a lot more shorter than that.

“Who gave you the idea foxes naturally spawn with hats?”

So our Starboys have seen much of the world beyond the Iberian Peninsula, right? Meaning that they saw a variety of animals from a variety of places.

How would they explain these animals?

Imagine the confusion on Asha's face as Starboy shows her an exotic animal, but also needing to explain where it came from. The hilarity of a Starboy trying to figure out how to explain a bizarre beast from countries that Spain doesn't know about yet.

I’m not that big on creating OCs for fun on my free time soooo I don’t really have much. I usually just draw fanart of the fandoms I enjoy 😅. The few instances I do make OCs is when I get really passionate about an idea, an example being my Wish AU.

Btw, I’m planning on doing more colour refs if I could, but exams are being a hard drag and a pain in the arse right now.

Hi Flicker :D! I just finished watching a summary and analysis of the movie “Soul” and I have to share my existential crisis with you and how I think this could support Rani's character development :] (Warning: I'm going to ramble and a LOT).

So, I was watching the movie and I saw that 22's character is quite similar to Rani, not in personality but in what they mean, she is someone who believes she hasn't found her talent yet, what she wants to dedicate herself 100% to or as they say in the movie “her spark”, they feel lost and feel like they are letting someone down because of that, but they both deal with it in different ways, we also see Joel believing that “the spark” is the THING that defines you, your purpose, this maybe what Rani may think, but I imagine as she gets older she realizes that's not such a bad thing, in fact maybe it's a bit negative to get 100% rooted to your purpose, because some people think that with that their life will be better or something, when no, I think Rani will realize that the “purpose” or what she “wants to be totally dedicated to” is not really what she expects, it's more those moments where you just feel something that makes you grateful to be alive, like when she finished carving a wooden figure and liked the result, when she enjoyed doing an activity, or when she was just with friends or her family having a challenge. Because that's also what that “spark” is about, isn't it? They are activities that generate a feeling of happiness and are one more impulse that helps you to be grateful to be alive, it is not your life 100%, it is something that simply sweetens it a little more, but not having it does not mean that you are a nobody, but it means having more possibilities to enjoy different things in life. (Sorry if what I'm saying is obvious or doesn't make sense, I was looking for the message I wanted my wish Au to give and I ended up having an existential crisis, I hope you didn't get bored reading this).

Rani just thinks that since his parents are these amazing figures he looks up to, that helped encourage people to have faith in pursuing their dreams, that he feels embarrassed of not having a definite one that he’s so sure of pursuing despite being their son. (Which is also why he doesn’t communicate this to them either.)

The thing is, he loves doing almost everything he could get the hang of and he has talents in multiple areas. However, Rani brings himself down because he couldn’t bring himself to decide just one out of all his options and he thinks it’s so disorganised and such an irresponsible thing to do.

I have a feeling that as much as Nina wants to help and once they both find something they both enjoy, Rani would feel a little guilty that he’s not any closer to a decision even after all her effort. Poor guy thinks he’s a let-down to his parents and friends.

I guess what I’m trying to place is that he’s eventually going to learn that it’s completely okay to be passionate in many things (even small ones!) and you don’t have to sacrifice what you love by forcing yourself to stick with just one. :)

I feel like if I do that, I might give out some spoilers for the RFTS!plot. So I’ll save that for a later time.

But if you’re wondering what Sueño’s human form would be like, he has honey-brown hair with a blonde streak on the side as something left from his star form. (Similar to maybe Anna’s white streak?)

He would also be wearing clothing that allows him to move around really freely and maybe a scarf. He just loves the feeling of something flowing behind his back or covering his shoulders like some sort of blanket that he could fidget at times.

I wasn’t completely satisfied with my initial colour reference for the main couples so I thought I might redo them again but digitally.

Here’s the new one for Sueño! ✨ I’m so much happier with this one actually now that I’m able to choose an endless variety of colours. :D

I especially love the cape which I coloured according to the midnight sky. Also, I decided to just give Sueño blue eyes instead of hazel, soooo forget I said that.

I find it interesting that both your Starboys are considered as ‘dangerous monsters’ by humans.

Meanwhile, Wishing Stars have been reduced to nothing but a mere myth in the RFTS!universe. Beings that no one can really prove their existence but stories have been told with great awe and adoration of what they could do.

Over the years, there are still some dedicated people who follow the myth and believe in it wholeheartedly based on the stories told by those who “claim” they were visited by one. The only problem is that those stories are sooooo different that they contradict each other and thus, most don’t believe it. (This is just because the stars take different forms and colours.)

In books about Wishing Stars, most images and descriptions about them say they are grand, impressive and even MAJESTIC. Wise, other-worldly and legendary.

Then Asha meets Sueño and it’s…not exactly what she’s expecting. If you know what I mean. 😂.
