I’ve progressed a lot since I first started creating art, so why not give a thank you gift for being the git inspiration for getting into art.    I was inspired by the works of Rella (Pixiv) as well as wanting to get better at lighting. I always had this idea of her pearl glowing while the light from above the water behind her. I am insanely happy with how this artwork came out, I love the mystical energy it gives off and how oddly calming it ended up being. I still feel like there are some lighting elements I have a long ways to go on, but I can not deny I am proud of how this came out.

I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays!

Mermaid Princess in the Moonlight

Commissions Open I have a Ko-Fi Social Medias Art © @CentaurWorks  Character (Lucia Nanami) © Michiko Yokote, Pink Hanamori     This was part of a charity incentive for the Transgender Law Center back in April. A free fullbody image would be given to the one that donated $50 or more and the one that ended up getting the incentive was @LilacPhoenix. She asked for an image of Lucia from Mermaid Melody in her Princess Form and it was nice to work on this. Mermaid Melody was the catalyst for my art so doing this felt like a nice return to form. Of course, I wanted to work on a night setting because I’m a sucker for those but also wanted to have a little reference to one of her more iconic scenes. I’m really happy with how this came tho in the end and it was different to work on some fanart after a long time.
