So many people wouldn’t have asthma in the first place if it wasn’t for these corporations…Shifting blame from actual culprits to people with asthma (and people who can’t help but use plastic straws at that) is peak capitalism.
Feel a little bad that I completely abandoned posting art on instagram and xitter because it'd probably be good to get my art out in more places, but both those accounts are followed by people I know irl and having my art and interests perceived by people I've actually met or know makes me so uncomfortable
Yk this actually started as a second pass at @ratblazer 's DTIYS but I got a little bit excited about light pens and ended up here. At least, I think that's what happened. I got the memory of a gnat, you know how it be
i kinda joined the site late and found out about your constantine dtiy two days after the fact- i think the reference picture is neat still! would you mind if i drew it/took inspo anyways even if the event itself is past its frame?
Yeah that's absolutely fine! Please tag me if you post it!
I abandoned the reference sheet project, and decided to animate some shit posts, I feel so much better about it, now XD Thank you for your awesome advice!
aw that's really good to hear! I'm glad I could help a little
why does my character reference look even less like the character than when I make silly little doodles?? Why is this my fate?? I dunno how it happens, they just don't look how I want when I draw them. Help??
it's literally just a matter of high expectations vs low expectations. A silly doodle has no pressure on it so it's easier to draw, but a reference is something with a lot of perfectionism behind it which means you're gonna scrutinise it more. I had the same problem with refs so I just don't do em no more
