There's a lot said about Dorian in the Dragon Age art books in letters from his headmaster and Alexius. It's pretty interesting so I'm gonna touch on yound Dorian eventually. The rest are just pondering on where everything's gonna end up. Unless Thedas is gonna explode otherwise these men will have a happy ending. Oh god... just noticed how similar Dorian looks like his father in the new drawing...

They are family after all. As he gets older Dorian will look similar to his father although I'm not consciously making them similar.
