arasakahanako:
Tumblr media
~Deep Dive~
Hanako’s dive into the net was longer than usual, but the amount of work was also larger than usual too. The whole Night City… accident delayed her projects. It glitched her routine, which now mostly is focused on work and not self-development, as it used to be.
The last time she played piano, was that unfortunate day when V decided to finally call her back. Stolen minutes for relaxation from her overloaded schedule evolved into another thing that played on her nerves.
She unplugged the wire from her core connection and slowly changed position stood up on the floor. Oda was next to her as soon as he noticed she’s back again and offered her hand, but she respectfully declined. Hanako was exhausted. The tiredness was growing on her every day. But she still pushed harder and harder. Work has to be done, and after that, she can rest as long as she wants to.
“Any news, Oda?” She started to stretch her body with simple yoga movements.
“Yes, Hanako-sama. Merc from Night City arrived.” That information made her lose stability in her tree position. It could also be exhaustion. She’s not sure.
“Excellent. Please, inform Yue that I want him ready for the dinner tonight.” Oda didn’t respond right away, so she send him a warning glare. Her bodyguard still didn’t swallow the fact that he had been defeated by some merc from that sin city.
“Of course, Hanako-sama. Anything else?”
“I don’t want any interruptions until dinner time. I will be in my room, so you can enjoy your time.”
“Thank you, Hanako-sama.” Oda bowed and waited till she leaves netrunning cave to walk Hanako to her room’s door.
When they informed V about the dinner uneasy heavy sensation settled in his chest. That was it - the moment his future depended on, only few hours away. But waiting was the hardest part and neither his jet-lagged head nor empty stomach helped him to calm down. Nibbles was restless too, most likely hungry and stressed.
V approached the window and slightly opened it to let some fresh air in. The place felt surreal - like a magic island lost in space and time, immune to human desecration. Gentle wind brought the whiffs of something dulcet to his nostrils, probably flowers. It was easy to imagine how sweetly misleading life here could be - far from dirty and cruel slums of Night City that often reeked of piss and puke. A paradise to kill for, some would certainly think. But V had a different perspective - behind those perfect lines and soothing colors the residence was a silent tomb where nothing ever changed for centuries, and even death would be devoured here with utter oblivion. The moon would continue to follow the sun, the trees and flowers would still grow, everything would remain absolutely the same - except you wouldn’t be there to see it.
‘A fitting place to die.’
No.
What was that again?
He shook his head but only felt nauseated as a result. It was better when he didn’t move. He probably could ask the staff for some meds but he didn’t want to raise any unnecessary concerns about his health. V turned his full body around avoding nausea to scan the room with Kiroshi, noticing a couple bottles of water on a computer table. It should be enough to sustain him for now. After a short trip to quench his thirst he activated task manager in HUD to punch in 2 objectives:
☐ Return Satori
☐ Get Nibbles food
and allowed himself a few moments of motionless rest not to provoke the headache before he started unpacking his scarce belongings and getting dressed in his corpo suit in front of the mirror. He left his collar unbuttoned not seeing the need of formalities given it wasn’t a desk job again. Hopefully.
‘Once a ‘saka always a ‘saka.’
The words slipped out of his mouth so naturally and softly that it took time for the disgraced thief to analyze them and freeze in disbelief.
‘Fuck you, Johnny! Stop haunting me! You’re not my conscience and never will be! You have no right to judge me, you nasty piece of shit!’
But it wasn’t Johhny, who was long dead. It was his own reflection pointing finger at him and him doing the same in return.
‘FUCK!’
The pain violently pulsated inside his skull threatening to crack it open any second now. V had to stabilize his breathing not to vomit his insides out, and opened the tap of cold water to wash his face. His visage in the glass looked pale, close to green. The day was off to a great start but it was far from over yet.
Someone knocked on his door and the merc hoped they didn’t hear the shouting to bag him for cyberpsychosis right away.
‘...Yes?’
‘V? I-I’m instructed to take you to the dining hall. I-If you’re ready.’
The voice sounded frightened.
Shit.
He didn’t respond, only picked the katana, checked on the cat and stormed out of the room startling the servant outside.
‘Well? Lead the way.’

21/22 Judgement – Mikoshi ?
Tumblr media
In Game
Judgement is the card of renewal. The angel blowing into the horn heralds resurrection and liberation. This card foretells an important change that will result in healing of fulfillment. It is also a symbol or self-worth.
In Tarot
UPRIGHT: Judgement, rebirth, inner calling, absolution
REVERSED: Self-doubt, inner critic, ignoring the call
The Judgement card shows naked men, women, and children rising from their graves, arms outspread and looking up into the sky. Above, Archangel Gabriel – the Messenger of God – blows his trumpet. The people respond to his call, ready to be judged and to find out if they will be accepted into the heavens or not. In the background is an extensive mountain range, signifying the insurmountable obstacles and the impossibility of avoiding judgement.
Upright
The Judgement card is calling you to rise up and embrace a higher level of consciousness for the service of your Highest Good. You are experiencing a spiritual awakening and realising that you are destined for so much more. This is your cosmic up-levelling! You hear the call and are ready to act. Tune in to a higher frequency. Let go of your old self and step into this newest version of who you really are.
The Judgement card often indicates that you need to make a life-changing decision, but unlike those associated with the logical Justice card, this decision requires a blend of intuition and intellect. You may be at a crossroads, aware that any choice you make will bring a significant change with long-lasting effects. Tune in to your Higher Self, trust your judgement and know you are on the right path. If you still need clarity on the situation, look to your past and life lessons to guide you.
Judgement pops up in a Tarot reading when you are close to reaching a significant stage in your journey. You have reviewed and evaluated your past experiences and have learned from them. All the pieces of the puzzle of your life are finally coming together to form one, unified picture of your life story. This integration has healed deep wounds, and you are now able to put the past behind you. You have found your absolution, having cleared any wrongdoings or regrets, and releasing any guilt or sadness about the past. This purging process will leave you refreshed and ready to take on any new challenges.
The Judgement card suggests that you may find comfort in sharing your struggles with others within a group environment. There will be others who have experienced something similar and who can show you the way to freedom from your troubles. Let them guide you and help you - rise together.
Reversed
Judgement reversed calls for a period of reflection and self-evaluation. Through meditation or quiet contemplation, you may arrive at a deep understanding of the universal themes weaving throughout your life and what you can do or change to avoid these situations. You may have kept them secret or hidden because you fear how others may judge you. To clear these past mistakes and regrets, and any associated guilt or shame, work on your self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, self-love, and release and freedom.
The Judgement reversed often appears when the Universe is trying to send you a message and invite you to something bigger, but you’re not listening. Maybe you’re afraid of the sacrifice you will need to make to heed the call, or you’re worried you are not ready to step into a more prominent role and just want to play it safe. You are doing your best to pretend you didn’t receive it and are carrying on with your daily life, hoping it will go away. But let’s be honest – the ‘call’ never goes away; it just gets louder and louder until you pay attention. It’s time to push past your inner fears and self-doubt, and trust that the Universe has your back. This is happening for a reason.
Sometimes, the reversed Judgement indicates your inner critic is coming through, loud and clear. You may doubt yourself or tell yourself negative messages. This is impeding you being able to fulfil your highest potential and be your best self. To overcome your inner critic, see it as a separate part of yourself (give it a name), hear it out and acknowledge its fear, and offer assurances that everything will be just fine. With focused discipline, you can break the cycle of self-criticism and replace it with more positive messages of what is possible.

22/22 The Devil – Arasaka ?
Tumblr media
In Game
The Devil is addiction, craving and passion. He brings fame and fortune, but at the price of losing oneself to a world of material distractions. The Devil lures unsuspecting souls into traps, but always grant them a choice. One can try their luck and take him up on his offer, but one should always know when to call quits.
In Tarot
UPRIGHT: Shadow self, attachment, addiction, restriction, sexuality
REVERSED: Releasing limiting beliefs, exploring dark thoughts, detachment
The Devil card shows Baphomet, or the Horned Goat of Mendes, a creature that is half man, half goat. Baphomet originally represented the balance between good and evil, male and female, and human and animal; however, more recently, this figure has been linked to the occult and has become a scapegoat for all things considered ‘evil’.
The Devil has the wings of a vampire bat, an animal that sucks the lifeblood out of its prey, symbolic of what happens when you give in to your raw desires. He has a hypnotic stare which ‘magnetises’ and entrances those who come near him, bringing them under his power. Above him is an inverted pentagram – a sign of the darker side of magic and occultism. He raises his right hand in the Vulcan Salute – a Jewish blessing, later made famous by the film series, Star Trek. In his left hand, he holds a lit torch.
At the foot of the Devil stand a man and a woman, both naked and chained to the podium on which the Devil sits. They appear to be held here against their will – but look closer, and you will notice that the chains around their necks are loose and could be easily removed. Each has small horns on their head, like the devil’s, a sign that they are becoming increasingly like him the longer they stay here. Both have tails, a further symbol of their animalistic tendencies and raw instincts, and the grapes and the fire on their respective tails signify pleasure and lust.
Upright
The Devil card represents your shadow (or darker) side and the negative forces that constrain you and hold you back from being the best version of yourself. You may be at the effect of negative habits, dependencies, behaviours, thought patterns, relationships, and addictions. You have found yourself trapped between the short-term pleasure you receive and the longer-term pain you experience. Just as the Lovers card speaks to duality and choice, so too does the Devil; however, with the Devil, you are choosing the path of instant gratification, even if it is at the expense of your long-term well-being. In effect, you have sold your soul to the devil!
The Devil card often appears when you have been tricked into thinking you have no control over your shadow self or these negative forces, and that you can never break free from their hold. You believe you need it and you must have it, even if it means going against what you know to be right to obtain it. Deep down, though, you know it’s to your detriment, and you are only doing yourself (and often others) a disservice when you cave in to these lower needs and desires. To break free of these negative patterns, you need to acknowledge the hold they have over you and the impact they are having on your life. For example, the first step of Alcoholics Anonymous is an admission: “We admitted we were powerless over alcohol–that our lives had become unmanageable.”
When the Devil shows up in a Tarot reading, see it as an opportunity to bring these negative influences into your conscious awareness, so you can then take action to free yourself from their hold. Shine your light on the negative patterns that have been standing in your way for so long, and over time, you will loosen the grip they have on you. Given that the Devil is a Major Arcana card, it is unlikely that you will be free from your addictions and dependencies overnight. It may be a recurring pattern for you, and it will take a tremendous amount of willpower and strength to free yourself from their influence. But know this: it IS possible, and it is up to you to make it happen.
On the positive side, the Devil can also show a powerful attachment between two people, such as a mum and her newborn, or a new romance still in its ‘honeymoon phase’. Be careful, though, because, with the Devil card, this healthy attachment can turn into an unhealthy, co-dependent relationship if you lose connection with your inner guidance or don’t protect your personal boundaries.
The Devil can also represent sexuality and your wild side. You may be exploring bondage, fetishes and your deepest, darkest fantasies. If you can do this within a safe, sacred space, it can be a very enriching experience. However, it has the potential to turn into something that may be unsafe or detrimental to your well-being in the long-term, so again, set clear boundaries, choose your partners wisely and have your ‘safe words’ ready to go.
Reversed
The reversed Devil card can often appear when you are on the verge of a break-through or an up-levelling. You are being called to your highest potential, but first, you must let go of any unhealthy attachments or limiting beliefs that may hold you back. Often, when you are called to something ‘more’, you must deal with your shadows before you can step into this new version of yourself. It may be an addiction, unhealthy relationships, or a disengaging career. Let go of fear and release any self-imposed limiting beliefs standing in the way of your growth. It is easier than you realise.
The reversed Devil calls on you to confront your inner fears and anxieties to free yourself from the chains that bind you to your limiting beliefs and unhealthy attachments. Eliminate those things you know are harmful to you and your inner psyche. It may be about creating a healthier diet, watching less television, quitting smoking, spending more time with your loved ones, or focusing more on your goals. Take this opportunity to bring about positive change in your life by staying focused on the ultimate goal of freedom.
The Devil reversed can also appear when you are going into your deepest, darkest places – whether or not you are ready. When you take this path consciously, you do so with strength, confidence and courage. You seek to understand your innermost shadows so you can either release them or integrate them into your life in a more constructive way. When you do it unconsciously, or with resistance, it can be very confronting as you may begin to realise you are very different from who you thought you were. You may enter a period of anxiety or depression, or experiencing dark thoughts you struggle to understand. If this resonates, then please seek out a trained therapist to help you work through this time.
The reversed Devil may also be a sign you are hiding your deepest, darkest self from others, keeping it a secret. You may have thoughts, fantasies, addictions, or habits that you don’t want others to know because you feel embarrassed or ashamed. But sometimes, holding onto the secrets can contribute to a growing level of guilt, and you may feel a sense of relief if you can share your darker self with at least one trusted individual. There is also a need to accept who you are and forgive yourself for the thoughts you have. Of course, if you are at risk of harming yourself or others, please seek professional help immediately.
Finally, the Devil reversed invites you to practice the Buddhist principle of detachment, a state in which you overcome your attachment to the desire for things, people or concepts of the world, and free yourself from any restrictions. It doesn’t mean you don’t care for people or things; you release your dependence on them. You may also find that a cord-cutting visualisation helps to release any unhealthy attachments to others, especially when the Devil reversed appears in a Tarot reading.

Hanako arasaka x V
Here the song I used to work on this piece from ym random song duffle fics.
https://youtu.be/3Vj9R39cv9c
youtube
~~~~~~~~~~~
'Greek Tragedy'
She stands out on the balcony crying with half her make up on hoping it could end differently.
With smashing cars and karaoke bars.
He running late, with half his armor on.
She stands there playing yet another act  Wishing it that she didn't have another roll to fill.
She loves this feeling but hates this part.
He wants this to work so much as he watches her under the moon.
her cybernetics glow  with most beautiful blue hue to them under the moon light.
'She hits like ecstasy'
She brings out the power he needs.
The tarot cards say it's not to late but her father says it's at the end
Its better off said but darling your a goddess, Hair of Obsidian.
He keeps falling down each step, she hates this feeling, but she loves him so much, wishing he didn't have to suffer this much.
She smelt like a flower shop. And it makes him feel so at home wishing he'd never have to let her go.
'And she hits like ecstasy'
Come on Hanako just run away with him.
She like goddess among motals, This war make him feel so incompete wishing that they could just be free.
' and She hits like ecstasy'
He's just a cheaper dream, here come a Greek Tragedy.
They both listen to the song play in the background. singing there own lines to themselves hoping and praying they can find away out of this.
He watches her from the distance wishing that the could have a happy ended where cold gold that graces every aspect of her is nothing compared blue shine it almost looked like silver.
Silver and obsidian suited her more the the red and gold that she is adorned in. She looked so sad from where he was perched. He wanted to go to her and break the lock on the  gilded cage to set her free from the pretty prison she is locked it.
seeing her under the moon light,
it made V wish he could have her, wishing that she would run away. Even though a dying man was not worthy of such beauty.
She stands there crying wishing for away out, away to have her brothers back away to have her father back. She feels so broken everything she has done has lead to this, she should have known that even if she proved herself many more times it would fall on blind eyes.
She wishes not to have to marry someone who does not own her heart. She ache for the touch of the man who was as rugged as could be. His body littered in scars which each tell a story. For the man who had lost so much.
She wished to be the comfort he needed.
And he wished to be the freedom she ached for.
His heart aches as he watches her, he finally works up the courage to hop the balcony. He walks with caution nor wanting to frighten her.
"Hanako?" He says lightly as she turns around quickly, her make up was a mess but oh she looked like a scene out of a movie. Here tear stained face. "V-san!, I forgive me for my unsightly appearance" she apologises.
  He moves closer lifting her face to meet his eyes. She looked so fragile, such a beautiful strong woman that he had fell in love with looked so broken down in misery. Sorrow fills him as he pulls her closer knowing that she was a goddess and he was only the shell of a man who was meant to be dead.
He leans in and kisses her softly, it was an almost feather light touch. He waits for her to pull away and yell at him, for her to be disgusted at the dead man walking who would try for someone such as her, But she kisses back. All her emotions take hold of her and she runs her hand thought his hair as she pulls him closer. When they pull away V looks at her.
Lipstick smuggled mascara lines down her face and he knows that she is his goddess his queen. And He'd be damned if he let anything happen to her.
"Run away with me"
If he had to take her away from this place so she could be free he would, he'd do anything to see her smile under the moon light
They really are a Greek Tragedy
She'd be Persephone and he'd be Hades.
