Y'know to be honest of course Rodimus is gonna feel a bit lost after it's over. It's normal to feel that way when a big chapter/project in your life wraps up. Doesn't mean he's doomed to be aimless n alone, some chapters you come out with long time friends sometimes you just come out learnin what doesn't work. It ain't the end all be all n he's lost his chance or he's lost his life's purpose, he's just gotta find a different project to work on. That's whatcha do when you're alive, you do a buncha shit, it ends, you mourn and then you move on to another purpose. Probably gonna take awhile for him cause that shit was a BIG FUCKIN CHAPTER so the mournin is gonna be ROUGH but that'll end too n he'll find somethin else and will have a better chance to find people that he connects with in a lastin way. He's always been a charismatic character but he definitely made some bad calls at the start that impacted the way he connected with the other characters plus his general position on the lost light. But ultimately he's well intentioned, wants to do what's right, and has learned from his past mistakes which will make his future have a lot more opportunity n a better chance to make lastin friends

This is in response to that ask abt rodimus' endin in the comics to clarify. I also gotta lotta feelins n opinions abt the whole thing too. It was a bummer endin for him in contrast with a lotta the others

I do agree with this take, absolutely! tbh, I think you could go about tackling the ending of MTMTE/LL in a lot of different ways, I don't necessarily think that one ending is better than the other.

I DO think that I prefer to play in a space of infinite possibility, and also- yknow. not in a place where some of my favourite characters are dead or depressed or alcoholics or have robo dementia. yknow? I think life would inevitably move on for Rodimus, but I think it would never be the same for him, yknow?

I just don't like to think about it personally, because it makes me feel sad.
