2023 has been like a rollercoaster for me. i had my ups, discovering kpop and seventeen, and my downs, struggling with grades and more.
scrolling through kpop and seventeen tags when i was a little baby carat, i was so nervous. i wanted to be friends with so many people here, to talk and giggle about my faves like others did. but i wasnt a writer, i wasnt even a big account.
however, my desire for friends who loved kpop and seventeen as much as me pushed past my social anxieties, and i began to talk to people here, praying they'd see my efforts, and like me.
so, i want to thank some of those writers and people who heard me, and who i love

back again with some more questions!!!
for so cries the wolf; who's your favorite character to write? do you have a favorite fight scene? (i think about the one super early one between y/n and eclipse when they're sparring is my personal favorite; the flow of action is really well done and the tension is so so good!)
i love that while eclipse is tied to them, sun and moon were kept as their own distinct characters within the fic! are there any fun facts about the sctw versions of dca boys that you can share that aren't super spoilery?
dose monty know he is the best church grim/hell hound ever in the whole world and he deserves all the pets and treats and forehead kisses on his big ole skull head?
for tangled strings; it's been a while since i've reread chapter 1 but i love love love the set up we get in the single chapter so far! the characterizations are so good too; you can really feel how on edge/wary everyone is (for their own good reasons!) and that it'll be a satisfying journey for them to all open up and start to trust/be vulnerable with one another.
what inspired the specific aspects of curse sun and moon are under? what's their relationship with each other outside of the newfound one with y/n? (soulmates with each other, business partners, romantic partners, friends who got cursed together, related in some way, etc? or is it undefined for the most part?)

So Cries the Wolf
favourite character to write is a tie between Montague and Eclipse. in the case of Eclipse, I'm literally putting together his character as the story progresses, he only truly gets created in chapter 1, and every interaction he has develops more of their character and how they'll go on to carry out further interactions. in the case of Montague, he's just the most grounded character in the group, he's here to try and keep everything together, acting as much of a voice of reason as he can provide with all the events that are going on. he also acts as Y/N's tutor in a way, and makes for a nice way to provide a little more explanation into different cryptids or magical events in the story.
favourite fight scene to write was Y/N, Montague and Eclipse vs Roxy. it marked a point in the story that took it just from urban fantasy to full-blown horror, and there was something narratively fulfilling about working through the first fight where it felt like Team Ranger didn't have the upper hand in the overall situation.
the SCtW DCA boys are pretty close in personality to our classic Security Breach DCA boys. Sun is more snarky and blunt because he's dealing with adults now and not children, and Moon is more withdrawn because he's dealing with guilt from being forced to act on the virus' behalf. although we'll be sure to get some gremlin Moon in before the story closure.
Monty absolutely knows he's the best dog boy of all time, although he might need some reassurances about being the best church grim/hell hound. give him lots of skull head kisses, you'll have his tail wagging soon enough

Tangled Strings
for the specific aspects of the curse Sun and Moon are under, I wanted it to be something two-fold. the first part is something obvious and physical - the twisted wood hand - it marks them as having done something bad enough to inflict a curse, provides a mark of monstrosity. the second part will be introduced in the story itself, but it's something to do with removal of individuality and any sort of control.
their relationship is one of the very best of friends. Sun and Moon met each other at a musketeer training school, were pressed into spending time with each other to try and balance out the worst sides of their personalities, and proceeded to make each other even worse in the best ways. they ran away together, hit the road together, have been running scams together for years now. the only blight on their friendship has been that they never formed soulmate threads between each other....until now.

My #1 post of 2022
Ok, so I absolutely love Security Breach, but I wanted to make a lost of things I feel would have made the game more enjoyable for me. It's just personal preference, it's ok if you guys don't agree. So here we go:
♡ more Freddy interactions. I really hate that he doesn't talk unless it's an event. Give him idle lines when he moves, both near Greg or with Greg inside. Make him send Greg random messages during the night, basically sell to us that they have a bond, build it throughout the night. I just fee like we would all have benefited from more papa beat and feral boy interactions.
♡ Make the hours advance slower and more equal? Idk man if I'm wrong, but I felt like the game progressed a little too fast and random? I just think it would help to get a bit more time
♡ More Vanny, the amount of times we see her is ridiculous...she was supposed to be the main villain, but I never got a real sense of danger from her. Add more chases from her. Make her randomly taunt Greg. Make her sometimes speak through the animatronics. Give us small scene where we see her interact with them. Idk, just add her more.
♡ Add more story elements: I personally feel like the story is held together with tape and that it was not the focus of the game, which imo left a lot of unanswered questions, like why do the animatronics keep getting more beat-up throughout the night, what is the deal with Vanessa, what is the deal with Greg, why is only Freddy not corrupted an so on. I feel there should have been more story elements added throughout, like small cut-scenes or lines of dialogue
♡ Allows us to actually race for a bit with Roxy, I found it kinda sad that it was only a cut-scene
♡ It would have been cool if we could also save the rest of the animatronics, not just decommission them and thus make them allies. I haven't really thought how, if I come up with an idea I will add, but I feel that is should be a more difficult mission than to decommission them, since it basically transforms and enemy into an ally. And taking from the Freddy part, give them some lines as well, I just think it would be sweet. Also with this addition, you create extra endings depending on who you saved.
♡ Remake the Afton final boss, I may be the only one, but I feel that this one was really underwhelming, I think it should have been longer and required Freddy a lot more, needed a bit more action. Taking from the points above, I feel like it would have been cool if you only had Freddy to be a harder boss and more bearable if you had everyone, or just get progressively easier the more you added to your roster. I also feel like the true ending should be with all of them. Also tell us what happened to Vanny. I feel like none of the endings actually touch all the issues in the pizza plex and while I get the idea behind it, I still feel there should have been one that figures out everything.
♡ I feel like there should be an extra panel named Extras :)) where you can see all things collected throughout your runs, so you don't run into the issue of losing everything just cause you got it after six
♡ this one is really not that important, but I think it would have been cool if there was a chance to do sth so that you can restore the ability to save during the after six am part, not really necessary, just and idea
♡ also more Vanessa, she also barely appeared snd didn't feel like an actual threat.
That's all I can think of for now. If I come up with any other ideas, I'll add them to the list

Insert Headcanons: Fnaf SB
Alright! I haven't finished SB yet, but I can't help myself in making an insert for it anyway (I've kinda fallen for glamrock freddy way too fast ;waoejf;oaiwjef). So here she is! A few headcanons to get to know her and her relationship with Freddy, because I can't help myself.
♡ Basic Information ♡
Her name is Violet Wolfe and she's an employee at the mall, who has been there for quite a long time. She started off as waitstaff and eventually moved herself up the chain after she not only grew a bond with the animatronics, but also showed promise in taking care of them. Even though she's not particularly smart in the mechanics of them, she just always seemed to have a knack for them and became part of the night watch as a result of that.
Though, she doesn't work entirely at night, having a schedule that can fluctuate depending on where she is needed. It's very obvious that Freddy enjoys when she works nights, getting to see her a lot more during this time. This is definitely a big contributor to their growing bond.
She keeps to herself when it comes to the rest of the staff, not having anyone who really knows much about her. Most of the time she's barely even mentioned, and when she is it's majority about how weird she seems. Always keeping close to the animatronics and never really talking to anyone else. A lot of people assume that she's shy because of this, which isn't exactly false.
Even though Freddy is the closest with her, Roxanne and Chica have a soft spot for her as well. Especially when she brings food to Chica whenever she technically shouldn't be, and swinging Roxy's room to tell her how amazing she did after every show.
She is definitely aware of the strange rumors when it comes to the franchise and the current job that she holds, but because of her bond with the animatronics, she sticks around.
♡ Her and Freddy ♡
She's always had a soft spot for him, enjoying watching the shows and sticking around his room out of curiosity. It tended to distract her from her work a few times, much to her denial, though that didn't stop her from being the star employee that she was. And it only helped their growing bond as time past.
They have plenty of interactions once the place closes, her coming around to check in on things for work, though most of the time that was just an excuse. It seemed strange to her at first that they were growing closer, considering the fact that he was an animatronic, but it felt too real. And she just found him quite adorable.
So adorable, in fact, that she couldn't stop giggling around him. And he couldn't stop talking to her, looking for her, asking about her. So much that the rest of the staff was quite annoyed, wondering why in the hell he was asking for her so much. But Violet being around always made sense, and so she became the one thing that seemed to help when nothing else could. (Though, it did also mean a lot of trips to parts and services, because of 'malfunctions').
These 'malfunctions' occurred constantly after they grew closer, whenever Violet would giggle or speak to him in a certain way. Freddy would always start to stutter, almost as if he was experiencing a short circut. Which only made things worse, because she found it adorable. Especially once she saw through it.
He's extremely protective of her, and will sometimes politely refuse to partake in something until she comes around. It's always a difficult time whenever she misses shifts or calls out, leaving him to miss her.
He gives her the nickname 'Starlight' or 'Bunny', which he will only save for when they're alone, as per her wishes. And every single time he does, she can't help but become flustered.
♡ Lore Information ♡
Originally she had no connection to my other inserts, but now she is a sort of reoccurring character that it's unclear if their affiliated in any way. With every single version of Violet, there's a tad bit of difference to their look and personality, but they are all generally the same in most areas. Leaving a lot of people to wonder about whether she is returning, if it's a coincidence, or they may be related.
She first occurred in the original location (original Foxy), with only a few small little mentions of her here and there. Lots of times it would be easily missed, and it wasn't until a few more timelines later that more information is revealed about her involvement. Most of the time she is always an employee, and every single time she always gets way too close to the animatronics. Always having a bond with them.
Before SB, the last time that she was spoken about was during fnaf 6 (pizzeria simulator; shipped with Rockstar Foxy), and that's when her relationship with Foxy is revealed. Hidden dialogue in secret cutscenes can be hinted towards this, always being brought up by an employee that was concerned for the animatronics.
Which is exactly why with her resurgence in SB, having a relationship with Freddy, it was extremely telling and an even bigger piece to the already mixed up puzzle. The question still remains of who exactly is Violet Wolfe, and how does she come up so many times over so many years? Yet she always seems to stay the same, yet different all the same.

I remember we got a lil bit of what their dynamic could be like from that great lil au Band fic we got ages ago, but what about their more “canon” interactions?
Outside of May/Makoto and Roxanne being iconic duo besties, how do all of them mesh (or not mesh) together? ♡
Golly i totally forgot about that fic, 🗿 that’s diggiN REAL FAR BACK HUH it’s been so long. So I can’t even use that to reflect cuz I don’t remember what was in it lol But whatever was there is prooobably right? Though it might be dated now so maybe it’s not quite there. It was a different time after all.
I mean. How Do I put it?
Roxy is friends/neighbors with Makoto
Makoto is friends/neighbors with Roxy
Makoto doesn’t care for Kanna and ignores her
Kanna dislikes Makoto for petty reasons/general personality clashing
Roxy doesn’t really know Kanna, but has faith she’s probably “nice” deep down
Kanna (being VP) is aware of Roxy but doesn’t care about her
And Ursa doesn’t know any of these people, and I doubt she’d be all that interested. So I guess, the real answer is there is no meshing? 😭 I guess?
I dunno, all 4 don’t really interact in tandem in the first place, so it’s not something I think about all that much and can be hard to wrap my head around. They aren’t meant to interact, so it’s like. HM. At least me personally. I just draw (sometimes), I don’t write much 😭💀
