Do you have questions about what you are (and aren’t) allowed to do on AO3? Do you want to know how AO3 volunteers handle Abuse reports? Have you always wanted to ask a question about AO3’s Terms of Service or policies? Now’s your chance! Click into this google form and drop your questions in. AO3 volunteer tealight from the Policy & Abuse Committee (PAC) will be answering questions over the next few days. The form does not collect email addresses, and you can ask as many questions as you’d like. There are some ground rules, though:

Do not include links to any AO3 works or comments

Do not mention other people by their AO3 username or other identifiable information

Do not ask about your own case or a friend’s case

PAC volunteers are not allowed to share information about any previous reports or ongoing investigations, so those questions will not be answered. Also, questions unrelated to PAC will not get an answer.

the current state of the bg3 epilogue (for me) ...

#funny #but unplayable #this is a completely unmodded save... no mods have been enabled on this save ever... and it used to work fine...#when the epilogue was added I made this save ... I played through the whole epilogue... all the dialogues worked...#I load in the same save now and it looks like this... every conversation is unplayable because I don't know what I'm clicking on #not found #bugs #glitch #bg3 #patch 5 #baldur's gate 3 #ending #epilogue #bg3 mine #my post #my posts #larian studios #notice that the 2 “not found” character names are the bard and the guest minsc brought... so characters who were added in the last patch #and ofc all of the dialogue in the epilogue was added in that last patch because the epilogue was added...#and by the way... everything that is part of honour mode is also “not found”in my game...which was added in the same patch with the epilogu #bosses resistances in honour mode show up as “not found” in my game so I can't actually read their honour mode tactics to plan a defense #basically absolutely everything in my game that was added with patch 5 is “not found” ... super weird...because the epilogue used to work #?? nothing changed in my game since I played that epilogue so what the hell caused this?

Someone asked: I know that AO3 does not allow people to solicit commissions. However, does it violate the Terms of Service to simply say "This was a commission," and have nothing else? No link to a Patreon or Ko-Fi? I read once that as long as it wasn't subtly soliciting or providing any links it was okay, but I'm not sure. Thanks so much!!

Yup, advertising/soliciting/offering paid commissions isn’t allowed on AO3, regardless of whether or not there’s a link to a payment site or pricelist.

In general, you can state the origin of a fanwork ("This was a commission" or "Written for X") as long as you're not promoting, soliciting, or asking for money on AO3. We also don't allow people to indicate past payments either, so phrasing like "This is a Ko-Fi commission" or "Coffee Fic for X" wouldn't be allowed. The first is clearly about Ko-Fi and the second is either about that or another tip jar. You can't discuss tip jars, subscriptions, fundraisers, etc even if you don't directly link to them.
