A new, normal, Ghoul in school! Au made by @maythearo
As you can see, i made Rebecca an Eldritch creature, that's why in their biography the author is very confuse what pronouns to use, why she doesn't feel pain and why you shouldn't looked at his chats with mother, cause you will get crazy if you looked at their actual language.
I also left a little Epel cameo in the notes, i am sorry for your friend Epel, but you have to be aware if said friend is in your victim's menu.

Bro, this took forever to finish my good, look at all i did.
Down here are Rebecca's and Mother's true form, there's body horror and you can see a heart and the lungs, but no blood.
Rebecca's half-human, that's why her body is made of hands, an element that is distinguishably human

Here you can see Mother's headshape, it's a heart, that's why Rebecca's wearing a lot of hearts in her design.
And you can also see Mother's "Crown" this is where she got Rebecca's star.

And the electrified pool incident continues (ik electric eels are of fresh water and not the ocean, but I already drew it. So. I have no canonical explanation for that I did it for the joke)
Taking a second look I'm starting to think their outfits are too simple, but first and foremost I wanted to do something fun for the looks of their primary features. I took inspiration from Luca (probably one of my favorite movies ever so I couldn't help but reference it here too lol) for the eye catching merform designs! Considering they're canonically sea monsters anyway, I didn't want to just insert their og designs here, so in this au they're more like in between their og merforms and human forms, also with their color pallettes are more similar to what flotsam and jetsam looked like in the little mermaid movie imo
I wanted them to essentially wear the same thing despite the contrasting personalities, and technically most of the time they're walking around the school they're simultaneously working for Azul, looking for students to make deals with happens in this universe too (fortunately for them and unfortunatelyfor others), so an outfit more inclined to formal would be ideal to cause a good impression on their business, or as good as they can make it anyway. Nobody can contain Floyd though, if he has to wear an uniform he is going to stylize it.
Keeping it short this time, I don't wanna keep it on my drafts to add more notes later and postpone this more than I already have 💀 if I remember more facts about the AU twins I'll share them later!
Also, I was thinking of making a tag for asks related to this AU and I think I'll name it #.phantom asks to follow the AU theme lol but now I have to edit previous asks to insert this tag so wish me luck

I know I’m spit ballin here but I present my MH Darling!!!
The template is from @maythearo (listen my anxiety spiked and i almost spent a minute contemplating on tagging you)
So I did my bird girl and made her a cute half fae normie kid. Kinda like Jackson. With a unique doll like image and some bird facts. I didn’t waste a few minutes of my life studying ravens and crows and know some stuff. But imma say this.
These feather babies, will remember something. Don’t test their memory.
I also threw her a shadow and I almost tempted to draw an evil shadow but I left it as a regular shadow.
For her clothes, I went for an old fashion dress and the usual MH shoes, but I wanted to give her a gothic Lolita style with bows. I did return to the concept of black eyes and yellow sclera. However only for this au, as the regular art. She has white sclera and purple blue eyes.
And I’m sure tumblr gonna goof up the quality on the text I will start screaming

So I drew Imani. I would have went with the half normie route, but It’s not really true to Imani’s character as she is a artificially made person almost like Frankenstein’s Monster, but more on par to a doll or a puppet brought to life in the og series, so I went with a Chimera.

I recently got a small set staedtler gouache as a gift and decided to test it on this page with the sillies! This was big step up from my old scholar set of paints lol, the consistency is not nearly as watery as the old ones, I can actually layer lighter colors over darker ones with ease, and I noticed they dry faster and react differently when mixed with water. On the other hand, since my set is of 6 basic colors I found myself struggling a bit more to mix them until I got the tones I wanted to use (but that's just because I'm used to having at least 12 colors in hand to make my own pallettes). imo the characters turned out paler then they were supposed to, and I couldn't find the exact hue of bright cyan that was supposed to be decorating bits of both Deuce and Ace's designs, so I gave up on that detail at the end 😭 anyway, I feel like that's a matter of getting the hang of if, actually. And more reason to go after the complete set of this brand's gouache ig, I liked it a lot lwdnkednek

sorry to burst the bubble but Clawdeen was never *canonically* confirmed nor was originally conceived as being lesbian.
she is one (for sure), it’s just not canon.
#y’all keep spewing this without double checking sources#it’s misinformation#it’s spectra v style misinfearmation#a gaggle of ghostly gossips all over the place#I get that Clawdeen has become a certified legendary iconic Lesbian icon#as she should#but that’s a collective fanon that while IS supported by Garrett Sander#has never been canonical#y’all give this brand and this man way too much credit#plus it actively ignores the elements of misogynoir at play in Clawdeen not having love interests#not interested in boys done to contrast Frankie and Draculaura#and while it might not have been done with any ill intent#it’s nevertheless not good#to have the only black character in the main trio be the one without any love interests#plus though great and awesome to see Clawdeen Lesbian be so heralded#even by the original creator of the brand#it’s high key a retroactive queer reveal#unlike Valentine or Neighthan and the other characters actively intended to be queer by the designers#Clawdeen wasn’t#it’s like JK Rowling retroactively revealing Dumbledore as gay#not to say Garrett is bad for this or should be canceled or whatever stupidity#but rather that’s it’s an issue that is a lot more nuanced#so stop screeching erasure#because it isn’t that#and y’all be downplaying NB Frankie in consequence#and that’s actually erasure#because that IS canon#it IS amazing representation#it is an UNEQUIVOCAL net good

I'm really glad none of my mutuals pass around callout posts but it's a bit of a double edged sword only in that I am totally unaware of them happening (I don't get mad scrolling my dash) but I am also totally unaware of them happening (I don't become familiar with the true amount of harassment happening in communities on this site) so I hear people saying it's had a huge uptick recently and I go "oh... I didn't know that." It makes it harder to fight against in a way if that makes sense
