My girls in a band
Pairing: Rebecca Welton x Fem!Reader
Warnings: mentions of divorce, mentions of rupert, age gap, alcohol, written with writers block so it’s crap, unedited
Rebecca cheered from where she stood in the crowd, never would she have thought she would end up here. At her ex husband’s daughter’s show in the sluttiest of her shirts and tight highwaisted jeans. That she would be dating the daughter the of her ex husband’s, that a few times she herself would stand on the stage and sing along.
But there you were up on the stage playing the bass and boy you looked amazing in your jean shorts and crop top. Hair flowing around as you smiled brightly, the girls in your band dancing close to you and Rebecca would be lying if she said you didn’t look hot right now. Mesmerised with how your fingers moved with such practiced grace as your eyes locked with hers, your cocky grin as the other girls fawned.
You grew up with your mother and had only met Rebecca when you were entering adulthood your father was sure to make you served the divorce papers. She seemed so sweet in your eyes so you couldn’t fathom how he could treat her so poorly, but that day as you entered a crying Rebecca’s office you fell in love.
Your father hadn’t made it easy for her in the slightest, Rebecca was strong and knew how to stick it to him though not that your relationship was for revenge. You to may have held a few grudges against him too and walking hand in hand with Rebecca definitely healed parts of you.
Come to think of it Rebecca hadn’t ever been as happy as she has been with you this past year, it did feel strange to her at first. The taboo of your relationship, the club wasn’t quite her scene but any chance to see you at work she would take.
The blonde walked up to the bar excitedly, the music pumping in her veins as she ordered another drink “That’s my girl up there!” She announced happily to the bartender. Michael didn’t think twice as he chuckled shaking his head making her drink, he didn’t need to ask what girl was hers.
“You make her happy, keep it that way” handing over the drink Rebecca looked at him confused “she’s like a little sister to me that little Y/n, protect her heart”. The blonde nodded “always” turning back to face the stage as you stood close to the mic joining in the vocals, Rebecca would be lying if she said your voice didn’t turn her on. She smiled over at Michael before bouncing back over to the stage, she should’ve been jealous with how the others danced on you.
But Rebecca knew only she got to take you home
