A thing that's fun about the Midway Mortal Kombat games is generally when death happens they stick with it. If a character dies in story then they're pretty much dead. The original Sub Zero dies and only appears again because his brother takes up his mantle. Liu Kang dies and then is absent for all the remaining games except for when he is resurrected as a zombie via dark magic.
All except for Johnny Cage, who died during MK3 and is then just alive again during the next game.

Tattoo Assassin's is a really bad knock off of Mortal Kombat that makes me appreciate MK even more but someone made a beautiful cabinet to run it in emulation from a spare MK cabinet and I think it's awesome!
I especially like the dragon side of the artwork for this cabinet!
The tiger side was neat too!
