Camille was seated nearby the Undella Seaport, eyes peeled to the cave that marks the entrance to Reversal Mountain, and the path to Lentimas. She'd expected to see either Gwendoline, Rosie, or the both of them to find their way out of the cave sooner or later, but, as it seems, from a shout that just barely registered in her ear...
She just missed them. Or they could've taken a route she didn't know about. Likely the latter...
Quickly, she got up from her seat and pivoted towards the direction of the Pokécenter, running. It wasn't too far, luckily.
"Right here!" she shouts as she approaches, trailed by her Mismagius, Melisma, stopping just a couple steps before Gwendoline - her eyes taking a few seconds to look.
...They really do look alike, huh. Camille let out a silent little giggle.
"It's... quite the pleasure to finally see you in person, Gwen. I hope your trip wasn't too much of a difficult one?"
She would've said "rocky", but she's not sure if that pun would register correctly.

I’m going to be binging Step By Step after I wrap up Make It Right 2 tonight. I’m so here for it. I really thought I couldn’t do it with work and life commitments, but I’ll make it work. In the words of @shortpplfedup, I’m ready to watch a show made by adults, for adults, about adult topics.

#have been attempting to make a self-tape for this audition for DAYS#after a whole helluva lotta bullshit having to do with hunting down a time+space+camera to film with i Finally managed to get some takes#then some weird bullshit with the camera's sd card happened where i wasnt able to pull the files off onto my laptop#FINALLY able to copy the files to my laptop. FINALLY able to access playback (the video camera i borrowed wouldnt let me access its gallery#FINALLY watching them... they all kinda suck so far but thats Fine at least i Have Them yk#get to take 7 and its actually not nearly as terrible as the previous 6!! feelin pretty good abt this one!! dont get hopes too high ofc but#i mean hey this ones acceptable if the last few arent any good either & just in case i cant go thru with my plans for tmrw to do a reshoot#so yk i start to rename the file so i can tell which clip it is!#Whole Laptop Crashes#WAHOO#typed this up to avoid freakin out while carefully rebooting her. bbg dont do this to me#luckily i already saved multiple contingency copies just in case (bc ive already had so many issues i was feelin Extra Cautious)#so i at least dont have to worry about dealing with the sd card bullshit Again. ugh#EDITING TO SAY: SHE LIVES!! laptop is fine after powering back up & files are unscathed!! was able to retitle & keep on truckin no problem#god i hate dealing with video as a medium#*this* is why im a stage performer not a screen actor lmao#fuck this shit. juust gimme a floor and an audience and ill make it worrk#cameras are fickle creatures on-par with printer machines#im rly excitednervous abt this audition tho; only submitted my resume+headshot on a whim & didnt rly think anything would come of it#but they contacted me and asked for a tape!! so im like !!!!! okayy sure id love to send that !!! i just have to face The Horrors first#if i dont get it then thats not the end of the world or anyth; but itd be SO FUCKING COOL if my v first submission landed me my first gig!!#so uhh. pls put out a good thought to the universe for my self-tape landing me the chance to perform in this queer play festival !!#bee speaks#🤞🤞🤞

I feel like someone's gonna hurl a bunch of scathing ocean puns at me and say skill issue if I say I don't like another crab's treasure very much

I do admire Antonio Banderas' ability to say a line like "Adiós, Humpty Dumpty" with smouldering intensity.
#rewatching Puss in Boots#say what you will about screen actors being cast in voice roles for animation#some of them can pull it off#I mean I don't think anyone's really complaining about the cases where they DO pull it off#but about the ones where casting this person really adds nothing but their name#they don't do anything really distinctive with the performance#like Strange World? the character Searcher is voiced by Jake Gyllenhaal#I have nothing against Jake Gyllenhaal and particularly enjoyed his performance in Zodiac#but Searcher being Jake Gyllenhaal wasn't anything special#like it was a good and likeable performance but it didn't have any particular flair#nothing to make you say 'ah I see why they picked Gyllenhaal!'#ditto the brothers in Onward#perfectly all right but it felt like some kind of studio system deal to have two actors then prominent in the MCU do Disney voices#that and BARLEY IS A JACK BLACK CHARACTER WHO JUST FOR SOME WEIRD REASON ISN'T PLAYED BY JACK BLACK#speaking of Jack Black: good voice actor#enjoyed him very much in Kung Fu Panda

Watched bullet train and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is both narratively and thematically. and the thing is, it didn’t have to be as good of a film as it is.
It would have been SO EASY to half-ass it, but here people cared and you can genuinely tell that from the dialogue, the clean and easy to follow action sequences, the visual aesthetics, and the unique character work, everything is just wonderful. The only thing that’s holding this down is that it feels like a vanity project for Brad Pitt and honestly you could have casted another other white actor to play Ladybug.
Anyways, bullet train is mostly fun, although I do think it kinda went on a big longer than it should have but that doesn’t detract from my enjoyment of it.
#anyways my favourite characters are: the prince and lemon they are the best <3#also bad bunny’s performance while brief left a BIG IMPRESSION on me. that guy is a movie star in the making#I was SO RIGHT in fancasting him as live action travis touchdown.
