WIP:

A soulmate, a precious gift, a divine blessing, and a double-edged sword bestowed upon others by the grace of God. The origins of this phenomenon are shrouded in mystery, with countless tales and legends attempting to explain its existence, yet the truth remains elusive. Throughout the course of history, from ancient times to the present day, soulmates have forged various types of connections.

Fate has a mysterious way of intertwining the lives of individuals, even when they come from worlds apart. No matter how far apart they may be, destiny has a knack for uniting two souls and drawing them closer together.

I just want want to put out there that the episode was about strings binding people together, and Roy and Jamie were bound by a literal string at the beginning.

And I'm going to hold on to that since it was their only interaction. Of course, their only interaction was juxtaposed against three other incipient relationships.

How I sleep at night knowing that Ted Lasso season 3 had an episode called The Strings That Bind Us, centered around the metaphor of the red string of fate, structured like a romcom, with an opening scene directly stolen from You've Got Mail (x), soundtrack and all; and in this episode Ted complimented a guy's head of hair and said that something frames another guy's face nicely and that out of multiple men, the clean shaven one was his favourite; meanwhile Trent did not mutter one word in the direction of anyone who wasn't Ted, but had multiple conversations with Ted that called back to their scenes in previous seasons, all of this leading up to a chase scene in the last third of the episode, which obviously references the Race for Your Love trope (x)(x). Oh, and when the question "What's with the red string?" was posed to Ted, the camera immediately cut to Trent wearing a bracelet made of red string.

jamie training extra hard to be the best version of himself but not just for him but for the whole team. jamie laughing at his past (like the reality show) instead of getting angry at the teasing. jamie being hesitant to speak up because he doesn’t want to be seen as a prick anymore. jamie suggesting pulling himself back in order to execute the new strategy better. jamie leading and guiding the team to score a goal.

i’m feeling lots of normal thoughts and emotions. i’m fine. i promise i’m fine.

why did NONE of them ask questions until the string was already around their dicks

“If our fans are truly fans, then they’ll be happy for us that we’ve found our last soulmate. If people get upset about it, then they were never true fans.” Changbin piped up, defending Chan and the group.

The boys all voiced their agreement while Minho just stared down the staff members, anger clear in his eyes. It very quickly turned into an argument between the boys and the staff, words flying across the table, and it seemed as if Changbin was ready to leap across the table, judging by his expression. Y/n and Han both leaned closer to Minho, feeling very uncomfortable amongst all the yelling and loud voices. He held the two of them close, bringing an arm around each of their shoulders.

All that happened was them laughing at her and cooing how cute she was. She pouted, and refused to turn to look at them. Minho smirked, and reached out to grab her sides, tickling her, as she screamed and yelled for him to stop. He refused to stop and she eventually moved back towards him, in an attempt to get him to stop. He used this as an opportunity to pull her closer and into his lap. She froze up as she felt him do this, and he chuckled at her actions. 

“Jagiya, why did you freeze?” He whispered, leaning down close to her ear.

“You try getting pulled into someone’s lap unexpectedly. I bet you’d react the same.” She whisper-shouted at him.

“Adorable, 토끼.” He said, chuckling in her ear, making her shiver and pull away, moving out of his lap and turning around.

“No. No, bad cat man.” She said, pointing at him.

i love how everyone was struggling with roy's intense training regime but jamie was fine. that was just like any other morning for jamie

Me who has only bound one book before and used a completely different method: "ehh it can't be that hard"

.....I was right. Its not that hard.

You just know that he wanted to put Jamie in the middle of the red string pentagon.
