Cooking Youtuber Steve; who has series where he makes good family friendly meals, dishes for picky eaters, tips for everyday cooking. As well as series where he tries to make historical dishes, food and drinks from games and TV.

DnD Youtuber Eddie; who has a long actual play series, videos about his characters and the world he's built. Videos about tips for your role-playing, getting immersed. A series where he tries other TTRPG's and board games.

Dustin persuades Steve to make videos about medieval inspired, DnD friendly meals. And because it does actually seem like a fun challenge, he does it. Dustin looks horrifically smug about it when the videos are a hit, the bastard. (Steve will make him eat something gross as payback. Its fine. Gotta keep him humble.)

And because obviously, Eddie sees the videos. He's always on the search for good DnD shit. But the guy is so fucking hot Eddie doesn't quite know what to do with himself. Except daydream about those eyes, and that hair, and those hands.

So Eddie records himself trying (and only sort of failing) to recreate the food. It comes out sort of ugly but actually nice tasting, so Eddie calls it a win. References the Hot Chef Steve in his video, adds a link to his channel, and tries not to feel his heart beating out of his chest when he sends @'s him with a link to the video. His channel is way bigger than Eddie's, he probably won't see it, Eddie's fine.

Except the Hot Chef does see it, and Eddie sort of loses his mind when he gets a comment or a message from him, thanking Eddie for giving his recipe a go, and giving him credit for the recipe. Eddie's not fine at all, this guy is way out of his league, and Eddie can feel the crush bubbling up under his ribcage, and Oh Fuck he's messaging Eddie.

Idea for Youtuber AU (appleradio)

In order to both promote the hotel and also have something to do, Charlie encourages Lucifer to create his own channel in which he can talk all he wants about how fucking cool ducks are, upload covers, make tutorials to create duckies and anything that he wants. Lucifer was a bit reluctant at first, but with the positive feedback (at the start just the hotel residents and the sins), for the first time he feels actually wanted and so he keeps making his silly videos. It becomes actually fun.

A Q&A with Asmodeus about electronic work, a cooking vlog with Beelzebub and maybe a ranking of fast food in each ring with Mammon. A video teaching self defense with Vaggie, another teaching magic tricks with Husk and even Niffty joins in to explain the best way to get rid of blood stains from any fabric!

But soon the viewers notices that the videos sometimes glitched out. It's always preceded by Lucifer smiling to something off camera and the whole screen becomes a mess for a second. There are times in which Lucifer is talking to someone that is with him on the same room and their name is censored, just silence each time. When Lucifer finally reads the comment bringing that up during another personal Q&A, he just laugh and say "that is my editor! He likes to play mysterious and doesn't want to advertirse his job so he does that. The camera gets fucked up when he appears for a second. He could change that if he wanted to, but why make life easier for me, right?" And nobody misses how despite these words, Lucifer has a soft look on his eyes.

Maybe he is already dating Alastor or are in that stage of their relationship in which it's obvious for everyone around them that they want to be together, but they are both dumbasses who won't do anything about it. Either way, his followers absolutely already ship him with his mysterious editor online.

And yes, Alastor would be the editor because of the two he is already the one with the most experience on that area after making the commercial.

Giorno is the type to base his YouTube content around music, focusing on the history behind certain artists while also aiming to introduce people to more obscure musicians. He has an entire ten-part series on Jeff Beck alone. It comes across a tad bit elitist, but he’s quick to grow a following due to his reliable information and passionate delivery.

While not one to upload consistently, Abbacchio talks about true crime on his channel. He used to do conspiracy theories at times too, but eventually pulled back on doing so. His videos are never under an hour long at the very least. After finally releasing a video (usually occurs around once a month), the comment section is full of people expressing excitement to see him on their feed. Definitely makes content that people enjoy falling asleep to.

Fugo himself occasionally dips his toe into true crime content. However, his focus is mainly informing people on subjects including history, media literacy, and even philosophy at times. He has a series dedicated to giving as much information on a specific topic in the smallest amount of time possible. Outside of those select videos, they’re all usually hours long. College students especially consider him a lifesaver.

Mista and Narancia both host a podcast where they upload episodes on YouTube, as well as other platforms. It’s comedy oriented and subject matter varies a lot. They could be discussing a book Mista read one week, and how Narancia’s a terrible cook the next. The appeal largely stems from their chemistry together, their audience finding them absolutely hilarious and often saying that they could listen to them ramble for hours on end.

Without a doubt, Trish’s makeup tutorials are both fun and informative- inspiring, even. Outside of that, she also reviews clothing brands and their latest releases. Trish is seemingly always on top of those reviews specifically, coming out with a video on the matter rather fast. At times, she makes videos giving tips on how to better take advantage of deals or coupons when shopping. Every now and then, she appears as a guest host on Mista and Narancia’s podcast.

Although a tad bit technologically inept and generally disinterested in content creation to even think of making anything himself, Bucciarati is always sure to support the others however he can. Across the board, he’s everyone’s number one fan. Similarly to Trish, Narancia and Mista have attempted to get him on their podcast. He always refuses.

There's not a lot of strawhats-in-the-real-world AUs, so I'm here to fill that void! This has been on my mind for a hot minute now, so let's talk about the characters in One Piece if they were youtubers!

Luffy - Travel Vlogger

Channel: IAMLUFFY

Subscriber Count: 7 Million.

Luffy would 100% be the unintentionally annoying vlogger who just streams and records everything. He's more likely to shove a camera in your face by accident, but he's also the guy who makes really engaging content and does more unique things than your average vlogger. He'd actually be a pretty big name in the vlogging sphere I'd imagine, and while vlogging channels tend to have lower subcounts, I think that 7m would be a good number for him to have. Luffy would also be down to record with other people (regardless of their sub count), and wouldn't mind traveling halfway across the world to do a one-off collab (especially if you agree to feed him).

His content: His content would revolve around travel, food, everyday living, and funny anecdotes. The editing would be very fast-paced with lots of graphics, and sound effects. He'd need to have an editor, and that poor editor would just be swamped with hours upon hours of random footage of him eating, or picking his nose. Lots of B-roll potential!

Zoro - Fitness Guru/Vlogger.

Channel: Roronoa Zoro

Subscriber Count: 3 Million.

It's a no-brainer that Zoro would be a fitness influencer. He would never have thought of becoming an influencer, but Luffy probably recorded him working out in some of his early vlogs, and convinced him to start his own channel. He wouldn't be as into vlogging as Luffy, and definitely wouldn't put much of his personal life out there, but he'd still show what he did and make it somewhat entertaining. Zoro would have fangirls up the wazoo! Especially since he trains without his shirt on, and always shows himself working out. I don't think he'd do collabs on his channel, but he'd always accept being in one of Luffy's vlogs, or even guest starring on Sanji's show (more on that later--).

Content: I think his content would be focused on posting his daily schedule, what he ate, how he worked out, etc. as well as a weekly weigh-in. He'd occasionally post his kendo tournaments and would encourage people to try it out, and make tutorials on all things kendo. I have a feeling he'd probably have the most sponsorship offers, but he'd turn down the vast majority of them (since a lot of them are scams). I don't think he'd have an editor since he seems like the kind of guy to just slap it together with some music behind it and post it to YT or Insta. I can even imagine him getting quite decent at editing and filming, and using Brook's music (with permission ofc). I think he'd also talk about stuff about the gym, what he likes vs. doesn't like, and sometimes talk while he works out.

Sanji - Cooking Show

Channel: Devil's Kitchen with Sanji

I don't think I need to explain why Sanji would have a cooking show, but I imagine it more like Binging with Babish with fun challenges, instead of straight up Kitchen Nightmares/reality TV. He'd have the highest production value out of the strawhats with a cameraman and 2-3 editors, and he'd probably be the only one to actually get a show on cable (separate from his YT). Sanji would be more likely to bring guests onto his show, and I can see Zoro being a frequent guest. Would not be surprised if they start a podcast tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if they also lived together

Content:

His content would be a lot less 'indie' feeling and more high quality. Lots of cool camera angles and editing. His stuff would end up on Food P*rn I'd imagine. Like, all the time. Sanji would probably be asked to collab with other people, and he'd take a lot more sponsorships too. Soy Sauce wants to sponsor him? Hell yeah, he'd do it! Bang Energy Drink? Well, no. He still has standards. I can imagine him doing a lot of 'How-to' videos and diet-focused videos, like "How to Cook for Vegans", or "Best Gluten-Free Recipes". He'd probably be in and out of relationships quite a lot too, maybe some controversies? (Lemme know if ya'll want some headcannons for that.)

Hahaha, I like the influencer Gale idea! I had science Youtuber Gale in mind, who’s blissfully unaware that 80% of the people watching are girls obsessing over his voice and looks. Meanwhile, Bucky is a Gale superfan with several accounts, fighting haters for him and fangirling under every video. Perhaps he even writes male self-insert Gale fanfic. It would be extra funny if they were friends in real life but this was Bucky's secret, and then Gale starts chatting with one of Bucky's accounts on social media and becomes friends with the "girl" he’s talking to. Bucky gets jealous of himself.

College Students! Karushuu where Karma is also a semi-famous streamer and Gakushuu is trying his best to not be recognized by his viewers.

Karma posts pranks, challenges and reacting videos on Youtube, and streams bad video games on Twitch. He loves playing the worst games just to rage about them, and people follow him to hear him insult the work of developers. He sometimes talks about his boyfriend but never reveals his name so the chat can only speculate about who that mysterious partner is.

Gakushuu is an Economics Management student who's trying to reach MIT. He doesn't hang out with the other students, doesn't talk much about his life, and has very little social media presence. He's careful to never show himself on camera when his boyfriend is streaming.

One day when he's having zoom class, Gakushuu can't stay in his own room because his neighbors are apparently having some work done, so he goes to Karma's apartment. Someone recognizes the streamer's decor and tweets about it.

Another day, Gakushuu comes to the college with his boyfriend's sweatshirt, and someone realizes it and asks him if he follows the streamers too.

Another day, Karma forgets to turn off the camera and leave the live when he finishes the stream, and the viewers can get a glimpse of Gakushuu's arm when he comes to give his boyfriend some food.

Every day people around him suspect him to be the boyfriend and every day Gakushuu has to dismiss them. When the fans find Gakushuu's Twitter account, Karma feels obliged to tell his followers to please not spam that poor student who simply wants to complete his last year in peace, and pretends that they have nothing to do with each other. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

Gakushuu can't wait to fly to USA and be around people who don't follow a Japanese streamer.
