My predictions/things i would love to see for Godslayers:

SPOILERS FOR GEARBREAKERS BELOW

The Zenith shows Sona to Eris so she can see for herself that she got corrupted or is in the process of getting corrupted, but Sona can't see her

Zoe Mikuta has confirmed that Jenny isnt straight (but lets be honest, who was surprised) so my headcanon is that her and Zamaya had/have a fling going on

Two of the many theories for how Sona and Eris get out (I have so many, i will elaborate on them if someone asks). 1) Eris gets through to Sona and they escape together again and find the rest of the gearbreakers again. Poetic parallels with how they escaped together in the first book. 2) Jenny and Eris's crew infiltrate what is left of Godalia and rescue them. Sona is still corrupted and they have to drag her along in hopes that they can help her come back to her old self

I had this other image where only Eris gets rescued because the others thought that Sona was dead but then they get back to gearbreaking and Eris goes through one of the mechas and GASP Sona is controlling it. But i realize that in Godslayers Eris finds out about Sona being corrupted early on based on the summary so she knows that she's alive. Still a cool concept

Voxter is still alive and no one but Sona knows that hes a backstabbing bitch, so he still messes things up for the remaining gearbreakers until Sona pulls up. Whether she is still corrupted at that point or not, it will cause a stir within their community

Jenny and the crew will think Sona and Eris are dead until a certain point. What else are they supposed to believe when they never came back to the Hollows? Although, they will know that they finished the job for a bit, since all the mechas were destroyed

Saw someone say something about underwater mechas???? Super fucking cool. I bet my left tit that Jenny is going to be the one to build it cause shes a genius

The aftermath of Sona's corruption would be similar to Peeta's in The Hunger Games. "You love me, real or not real?" "Real" I WOULD SCREAM

ERIS AND SONA CONFESS THEIR LOVE BECAUSE THEY DESERVE TO LOVE AND BE LOVED IN RETURN

When Eris is back with the gearbreakers again, there will be the "what if shes corrupted? We have to make sure-" "this again? Seriously? How many times do i have to escape a prison for you to realize i dont crack that easy" moment because i said so

Eris and corrupted!Sona fight each other. Super angsty. Im getting at the Four and Tris fight from divergent if you know what im talking about. With like his gun at her temple and then he snaps out of his trance. Not saying she will snap out of her corruption, but that kind scene ya know. Maybe she remembers something real about Eris

More moments between Jenny and Sona. Jenny trying to figure out how to help Sona if she is still full on corrupted when they see each other again. Maybe a shovel talk after shes a bit better, i know we got something close to it when they were about to leave on the archangel but still

More moments with the Shindanai sisters. I love their banter, the way theyre a bit cold to each other but will still go to the end of the world and back for each other

More Jenny in general, shes one of my favs

Idc what anyone says, the "you dont have my permission to die" thing is funny and amazing and i love it

If Sona will keep feeling pain even after she is successfully corrupted, that would be really cool from a storyline prospective. I have a feeling she would lowkey welcome the pain, just a bit, since it makes her feel more human again

Speaking of that, she will be really out of habit with the sensation. She'll do something risky and then actually feel pain because she didnt realize that when she did this before it REALLY fucking hurt. Plus, she'll get a paper cut or something and then be super dramatic about it

Jole haunts Sona during her corruption process. He might not be the one hurting her, but hes there to watch, as if watching Sona in pain will make him feel better about Rose's death

Sona cant even begin to process how many people she killed on Heavensday. How the blood on her hands keeps adding and adding up, especially when she's corrupted and has to kill more

Eris struggles with seeing Sona in her corrupted state. Having no more love in her eyes when she looks back at her. Only blind hatred

Sona takes out her robotic eye again because she hates it even more. (She has it on the godslayers cover)

I will add more if i think of any. If someone wants to come and scream about this book my dms are always open. I love talking about theories and the book in general😁

"You are not going to die," she says, her tone fierce. Her eyes are turned to where the sky meets the ground. "You're going to be okay, and you're going to come home."

"It is that, every time I see you...," Glitch says, voice a soft, dangerous whisper. Sweat prickles at the nape of my neck. A new look has taken over her features—an eerily calm, resolved expression. Her thumb taps lightly on one of the gears, just once, touch as quick as my flinch. "... I see Godolia burning to the ground. I see ash and scrap metal peppering the crater where it once sat. I see its hideous mark scraped off every single map, its record split from history, its reputation not ruined, but obliterated.
