@thatlesbainmushroom and @jjlovesgoodies (hope you don't mind the tags, I was not sure how else to make sure you seen this<3) both said yes to hearing about my roomies zombie au, so here it is!! Though, I must admit that it is more of a half-baked idea than a fully thought out au. I'm not sure if I will ever actually write it, so it's free game with credit.
I suppose a TW is required before you read any further. It is a zombie au, so it is pretty grim. Mentions of death, blood, injury, and other apocalypse typical things.
Etho and Cleo were college roommates before everything went to shit. Cleo was a graphic design and arts student in her fourth year, while Etho was an engineering student in his second year. They have been together since the start, and were actually in their dorm room when the chaos started. Bdubs used to be with them, but they lost track of him (and his horse) months ago. They assume he is dead.
Grian was a first year architect student from a few towns over. His group consisted of his roommates, Jimmy and Joel, along with his work friend, Scar.
None of them had ever used a gun before the apocalypse, so it is none of their preferred weapon. Cleo has a baseball bat, Grian has a knife, and Etho has a machete. Etho and Grian both carry handguns but rarely use them. Cleo knows how to use a gun but does not carry one and would have to be in mortal danger to be convinced to use it.
Cleo is immune to the bite, something they found out at the beginning because a classmate had bitten her and she never turned. Though, this immunity would not hold any narrative weight. The world has fallen apart, there wouldn't be anyone left to try to find a cure from her anyway. They are just focused on surviving and trying to keep each other safe.
However, because of her immunity, she does take risks that Etho doesn't/can't. She used to be a real softy, not much a fighter who was all bark no bite, but she would do anything to protect Etho. She has many scars, from bites and scratches, because of this reckless behavior.
It would start with Grian having just been separated from his group and he's been wandering around the remains of a big city looking for them. He eventually gets overwhelmed by a hoard and ends up cornered in an alley, where he is then saved by Etho, who kills the zombies and offers to bring him back to his camp.
Grian says no and tells him he has to keep looking for his group, but Etho is persistent. Grian caves and agrees to go with him when Etho offers to help look for his missing friends; no strings attached.
The group traverses the remains of the burning world together for several months looking for Grian's group and slowly getting to know each other. Etho and Cleo share information freely, but Grian is more reserved. He only answers simple questions about his past. They barley know anything about this group they are trying to find. Instead of opening up as the months' pass by, he actually becomes more and more reserved.
He keeps asking why they keep helping him when they have no obligation to do so, especially since he's given them next to no information or reason to trust him, and they say why not? They don't have anything better to do than lend him a helping hand.
Grian leads them more and more northwest as time goes on, telling them that he was told to head in this direction to meet back up with his group, but still, they find no trace of them.
Around 6-7 months into traveling together, the group do a supply run in a mall that they thought was safe and end up getting trapped inside with no way out after Grian brings some kind of a display/structure down on top of himself on accident and it attracts a hoard that was hidden away out of sight.
They are very low on ammo, Etho was bit while getting Grian out from under the display, Grian was injured by the accident, and they're all too exhausted and malnourished to fight. They make it into a staff area, but there's no exit that they see, so they barricade the door. It is only a matter of time before the hoard breaks through.
Sitting inside of the small room, Grian admits to them that his group was already dead and had been for a while. He tells them that he had actually been ready to die that day Etho found him. He felt bad letting Etho's kindness (which was a rarity in this dying world) go to waste, so he went along with it.
He was just along for the ride at first, leading them on a wild goose chase while waiting for a chance to leave them, but then he grew to care for them. He never thought he would find friends again in a world like this, but, somehow, he did. They gave him a purpose, a reason to keep going. They made him want to live again. They made him happy. They made him laugh; something so simple and yet so important.
He didn't want them to leave him behind once they found out the truth, so he'd kept lying to them and pretending like he was still searching so that they would have a reason to keep helping him, a reason to have him around.
He was closing himself off all that time in an attempt to hold onto the one good thing in his life. He tells them that he's sorry, that he loves them, and that he's scared.
Cleo and Etho say they don't care that he's been lying, and that he's just as important to them as they are to him. They say that whatever happens next, they'll do it together.
And then in my mind it would end somewhat ambiguously/open ended as the zombie's break through.

Stranger Therapy
Eddie Munson x Steve Harrington
Summary: Based on this text post, Steve and Eddie match on Tinder and decide to go to couple's counseling on a first date to see how long it takes the therapist (Murray) to figure them out. Link to Ao3

It’s a match!
“Robin, it worked!” Steve shouted from the couch. She ran from the kitchen and joined him, peering over to stare at his screen.
“I told you it would! It’s funny!” she insisted. Steve rolled his eyes and anxiously pulled up the profile of his new match.
“Oh, shit,” Steve said. “I remember swiping right on this guy. Didn’t think I had a shot.” He looked through the pictures. They were all candids, slightly blurry, or shots of him with his friends, but due to his distinguished look it was easy to pick him out even in a crowd.
“Show me his bio,” Robin ordered. Steve closed out the pictures and scrolled until the bio was in full view.
Eddie, 25. Shit at bios.
“Well that’s kind of boring,” Steve said.
“Yeah. You think he’s a bot?” Robin asked.
“Or a catfish, maybe,” Steve mused. “Either way, I still think I should take your joke down. I don’t talk like that in real life, and people might get confused.”
Robin had convinced him earlier to change his bio and replace it with - let’s go to couple’s counseling and see how long it takes the therapist to realize we don’t know each other. Steve had been a little tipsy when he agreed, and he assumed nothing would come of it. But then, Eddie matched with him.
“You’re thinking way too hard about this, Dingus,” Robin replied. “People write weird shit in their Tinder bios all the time.”
“Eddie didn’t,” Steve countered.
“Yeah, but look at him,” Robin responded. “He’s distinctive. It’s attention-grabbing in itself.”
“And I’m not?” Steve asked. Robin chuckled.
“You’re the kind of pretty where if you don’t have something witty in the bio, people will think you’re just some ignorant surface-level airhead who’s never worked a day in his life, and that’s not cute.”
“Okay, ouch,” Steve said.
“It’s a compliment!” she insisted. “Like, you need to show that you’re witty and funny and able to poke fun at yourself, otherwise you’re going to attract the wrong kind of people.”
“And this guy’s the right kind, huh?” Steve opened one of the pictures back up - one where Eddie was passed out on the couch with a beer still in his hand. As they looked at the screen, a notification popped up. Eddie sent you a message.
“Let’s find out,” Robin said.

Eddie: If your bio is serious, I’m in
Steve: Wait, really?
Eddie: Yeah xD sounds fun
Eddie: You got a therapist in mind?
Steve: Honestly didn’t think I’d get this far
Eddie: Boo.
Eddie: You’re lucky I know just the guy
Steve: Okay…
Steve: So how do we do this?
Eddie: Dude, it was YOUR idea
Steve: Ok but I’ve never done it before!
Eddie: Steve! I’m your first? <3
Steve: Yeah, yeah. I’ve never pranked a therapist before.
Eddie: I hope you’re either rich or have really good insurance. Otherwise this is gonna be an expensive first date.
Steve: I got it covered.
Eddie: I figured you did. I’ll call the guy in the morning and get back to you with the appointment time.
Steve: Okay. How’s your night going by the way?
Eddie: Nope!
Eddie: That’s not part of the deal, Steve. We go into this blind or not at all.
Steve: This is insane.
Eddie: Once again, your idea. I’m excited. Are you excited?
Steve: Thrilled.
Steve: I’m still concerned about how you know the perfect guy for this.
Eddie: 😛
Eddie: Don’t worry about it.

“I don’t even think he’s serious,” Steve said after he recounted the entire interaction to Robin.
“I don’t know, Steve. Sounds serious to me.”
“What if he’s like - not right in the head?” Steve wondered, reading the interaction over and over again. “Like, who is this therapist and why does he know him? Is he actually going to make an appointment? What if this whole thing crashes and burns?”
“I honestly think he plans on it crashing and burning,” Robin replied. “And then after, the both of you either hit it off and laugh about it forever, or you have an amazing failed date story to tell your friends until the end of time.”
“That’s…actually genius.”
“I know.”
Steve read the messages one last time, focusing on the bits where Eddie was mildly flirtatious. Steve! I’m your first? He could tell if Eddie was being condescending, or what vibe he was going to bring to this absolute insane first date. But, as Robin said, it would be a story no matter what.
He tried to focus on that and not the anxiety that started brewing in his veins.

The appointment was set for two weeks later. Eddie still refused to talk to Steve other than for details on where to go and at what time, so for the whole fourteen days, Steve assumed he was being pranked right back. Eddie was messing with him, or he’d cancel, or Dr. Bauman didn’t actually exist, or he’d be murdered, or, or, or -
None of that happened. Instead, on a Tuesday afternoon, Steve pulled up to an office building about fifteen minutes from his apartment. He’d passed by it several times and never once wondered what went on inside.
Apparently, really weird first dates.
They had decided to meet up in the parking lot and walk in together. The whole thing was crazy, but having one of them pick the other up so they could drive in together was way over what was needed to commit to the bit.
Steve got there first. They needed to be fifteen minutes early to fill out paperwork. It was twenty minutes prior to their appointment time.
This was weird. It felt a lot different than all the times he’d met someone for coffee. In another world, that’s how he and Eddie would have met. But no. He had to agree to this stupid thing, and now he was too far into it to back out. Jesus Christ.
Eddie’s car pulled in a few spaces down. Steve knew it was him from the hair alone - unmistakable. He got out of his car and walked towards his date, his palms sweaty. Eddie got out of his car a moment later, eyeing Steve as he approached him and smirking.
“What gave me away?” Eddie asked.
“You think I wouldn’t recognize my boyfriend?” Steve snapped back, pleased at the way he was able to take Eddie off guard.
“Touche. Well, come on, then. Let’s do this.”

Before they knew it, they were sitting in a cramped waiting room, alone, filling out paperwork. It consisted of insurance information first, followed by names and some quick background questions about the “couple.” Steve began filling it out, thankful that he was still on his dad’s fancy rich-person insurance. It covered basically everything, even fucked-up couples fraud with Dr. Bauman.
“Are you not worried I’m gonna, like, steal your information or something?” Eddie asked as Steve wrote down his policy number.
“I mean…should I be?” Steve responded.
“No,” Eddie answered with a shrug. “I gotta say, though, you’re way more trusting than I am. It’s ballsy. I like it.”
“Uhh…” Steve was trying to concentrate on the paperwork, but the compliment was throwing him off. “Thank you, I think.” He continued filling out the paperwork.
“You’re from Hawkins?” he asked. Steve nodded, absentmindedly. “I’m from Hawkins.” This caught Steve’s attention.
“No shit.”
“Yeah, seriously.”
“Small world,” Steve replied before turning his attention back to the form.
“You have a cute middle name,” Eddie teased.
“Shut up,” Steve responded. He wanted to find Eddie’s pestering annoying, but instead he found himself smirking, even giggling a little bit. This whole thing was so ridiculous. He shoved the clipboard onto Eddie’s lap. “Your turn, lover.”
“Euch,” Eddie groaned. “That is not one of our pet names, no way.”
“Noted,” Steve chuckled. He was…kind of enjoying this way more than he expected, as weird as it was. He’d grown accustomed to a lot of even stranger things in his life, so this didn’t feel as shocking as he’d initially thought.
“Don’t look,” Eddie said as he covered the paper.
“What? Why not?” Steve asked, confused.
“Because not all of us are as blindly trusting, Steven,” Eddie responded. Steve shook his head and looked away.
“Good thing we’re in therapy to work that shit out, Edward Munson.”
“You looked!” Eddie exclaimed.
“It was right in front of me!” Steve pointed out.
“Fair enough,” Eddie sighed. “Okay, now we gotta put down a reason for doing this.”

Fast forward ten minutes, Eddie and Steve were seated next to each other on a relatively small but cozy burnt orange couch. The color was ugly, but the seats were comfortable. Steve noticed the cushions had a natural dip that kept inching him closer to the person sitting on the opposite side. He figured this was certainly intentional.
The doctor sat in front of them, reviewing the papers the pair had just filled out.
“Hello, my name is Dr. Bauman, and one day I may let you call me Murray,” he began, his eyes fixed on the papers in front of him. “I see here on your sheet that you’ve been feeling distant from each other, and that you’re looking to feel more connected, right? Can you tell me more about that?”
“We’re just launching right into it, huh?” Eddie asked.
“Well, we are on a time crunch here. Your decision how you spend it,” Dr. Bauman answered.
The man was immediately intimidating.
“Ooookay,” Steve said, taking a deep breath. “Yeah, I guess it just feels like - like he and I don’t even know each other anymore.” Eddie stifled a laugh, covering his mouth with his hand to make it seem like he was maybe getting emotional or perhaps trying not to sneeze.
“I see,” Dr. Bauman said, eyeing them both suspiciously. “Let’s begin with how you two met and we’ll go from there, okay?”
“We were high school sweethearts,” Eddie replied with a grin.
“Wow,” Dr. Bauman commented. “Well, it’s common for a lot of development to happen from then to now. How did you two get together?” Eddie looked to Steve, as if to say, you’re up.
“It just kinda…happened, I guess,” Steve began. “We were assigned as partners for a project and really clicked.”
“Yeah, and then we snuck around for a while. Sneaking kisses in janitor's closets and empty classrooms, you know the drill.” Steve tried not to blush at the thought of sneaking around with high school Eddie. If they were both from Hawkins, did they actually go to high school together?
“Snuck around for the thrill?” Dr. Bauman asked.
“No,” Steve responded. “I wasn’t out yet.” Eddie looked at him curiously, as if he wasn’t expecting Steve to say something so serious. He wondered if it was actually true.
“Well, that and -” Eddie added. “- he was a popular jock and I was kind of a freak.” This time, Steve looked at Eddie curiously. Steve was a popular jock. Eddie could have assumed that, or made a lucky guess, but something told him that wasn’t the case.
Eddie Munson. Munson.
Oh.
Oh!
It took Steve a minute to recover from that information. They did in fact go to school together, they just had never interacted. Eddie obviously remembered, and he obviously knew that Steve didn’t. So what was the goal here? Was Steve being punked or something just so Eddie could get free therapy?
“Steve, you look a little pale there,” Dr. Bauman noticed. “Did that trigger something?”
“Yeah -” Steve croaked, now unable to look at Eddie. If he had, he would have noticed Eddie didn’t look as smug as Steve assumed he was. “Yeah, I just don’t think about high school that much anymore.”
“Why not?” the doctor asked.
“Because, I - I’ve changed so much since then. I’m not that guy anymore, and I don’t want to be that guy.”
“Ah, I see,” he hummed. “So, Eddie fell for someone who no longer exists. I think I’m understanding the problem here. Eddie, do you feel that you’ve changed?”
Damn. This guy’s kinda good.
“Uhhh -” Eddie began. Neither of them expected this to get so serious so quickly. It didn’t even feel like it was about their imagined relationship anymore. “N-no, I don’t think I have.”
“And Steve, do you think Eddie has changed?”
Steve thought about the limited memories he had of Eddie in high school. Cocky, slightly unhinged, just as he was now. But there was something different, he just couldn’t really pinpoint what. Maybe if he’d talked to Eddie for longer than like ten minutes total in his life, he’d have a better idea.
Then, he realized the point of this wasn’t to be serious. It was to make shit up. Steve pivoted back to the original plan.
“Yeah, I mean -” He shifted in his seat, finding himself now thigh to thigh with Eddie, despite not meaning to be. “He’s, uh - it just feels like we don’t have anything in common anymore?” It was something he’d heard lots of couples say.
“Do you want to make this work?” Dr. Bauman asked.
“Why else would we be here?” Eddie answered. Dr. Bauman narrowed his eyes.
“You tell me.”
Eddie and Steve were kind of not good at this. Their story was based in truth and not very exciting. They both seemed to realize this at the same time.
“Steve slept with the dogwalker,” Eddie proclaimed. Steve scoffed, half-amused, half-offended.
“Yeah, well you sold drugs to my mom!” he shot back. The two guys looked at each other, pretending to look angry while simultaneously wanting to laugh.
“Woooah, there,” Dr. Bauman responded. “Now we’re getting somewhere. Do we want to begin with Steve’s infidelity or Eddie’s illegal activity?”
“That’s not gonna, like, go on record or anything, right?” Steve asked, suddenly anxious. “Like, the cops aren’t gonna show up at Eddie’s door?”
“Our door, babe,” Eddie clarified, not the least bit nervous.
“Depends on how long ago this happened, I suppose,” Dr. Bauman answered.
“Long time ago,” Eddie said.
“Are you still currently dealing?”
“No, I don’t even do drugs anymore. Well, like, except pot - but that’s legal now so it doesn’t really count, I think.”
“Dude,” Steve whispered.
“You brought it up,” Eddie replied just as softly.
“Right,” Dr. Bauman responded, taking it all in. “No report needed, then. Let’s move onto the dogwalker.”
They continued to add to their lore as the appointment went on. At one point, Eddie even faked tears. His acting was…decent enough to avoid suspicion, thankfully. When the clock hit 1:45, their time was up, and they’d successfully managed to fool Dr. Bauman. Mission accomplished, date over. Right?
“Well, thank you so much, Dr. Bauman,” Eddie said. “I think you’ve really helped us out today.”
“Yeah, seriously,” Steve said, smiling. “We feel so much better.”
“Now hold on a minute,” Dr. Bauman said with his hands up. “There’s still a lot of work to be done, in my professional opinion.”
“There is?” Eddie asked, confused.
“Oh, definitely. Most couples go to a minimum of four sessions, and that’s still a low average. Plus, this was only intake. I mean, unless you guys weren’t happy with the counseling I gave you today…”
It felt like a challenge, and Eddie loved challenges. Meanwhile, Steve was too awkward to come clean or tell the doctor they weren’t interested.
They made another appointment.

“Well, that went pretty well, I think,” Eddie said as they left the building.
“You knew me already?” Steve asked once they were a safe enough distance from the office and Dr. Bauman. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I just knew your name and face, man. And, like, your vibe,” Eddie answered. “Back in high school, anyway.”
“You should have told me,” Steve said.
“You should have remembered,” Eddie shot back. “Whatever, it was fun. Right?”
“Eddie, I have no idea what that was,” Steve replied. “We have to cancel that appointment.”
“Why? You don’t want to see me again?” Eddie grinned. Steve rolled his eyes.
“No, I - I mean, I don’t want to waste his time. That spot should go to other couples who need it. Meanwhile, we could go get coffee like normal adults.”
“I dunno,” Eddie said, kicking a pebble in the road as they walked. “I kinda liked it. You can’t tell me you didn’t.”
It was true. Steve couldn’t say that he didn’t.
“Doesn’t matter.” Steve unlocked his car and made his way to the door. “We’re canceling.”
“He’s the one that wanted to see us again, Steve,” Eddie reminded him.
“Yeah, because he thought we were an actual couple.” Steve was getting frustrated at Eddie’s antics, and the way he refused to back down. “I don’t know if this is gonna work, man. This has been, uh - well, it’s been weird, but I think -”
“We have to go, otherwise you’ll be charged a cancellation fee,” Eddie blurted out. It was a lie, a bold-faced lie, and yet -
“So, I’ll pay the fee. Can’t be more than the cost of a full session,” Steve figured.
“Ugh!” Eddie groaned in frustration. “Okay, fine. Look - I’m annoying as hell, I’m a mess, I’m broke, and I could never afford someone like Dr. Bauman. I don’t know about you, but some of the things he said actually made me think and I kind of want to ask him about, like, real shit.”
Steve stared at him blankly for a minute.
“You - you want me to keep going to fake couple’s counseling with you so you can get actual therapy?” Steve asked, stunned.
“I mean, you could work your shit out, too,” Eddie suggested.
“What shit? I don’t have shit,” Steve insisted.
“Of course you do! Everyone does!” Eddie yelled.
“You’re insane,” Steve muttered. The thing was, he wasn’t saying it out of anger. He was saying it in understanding.
Because the thing was, Eddie had a point. Dr. Bauman was good at what he did, and Steve knew he’d never sign up for individual counseling. He already had the appointment. Eddie smirked.
“You’re with me, aren’t you?”
Fuck.
“Fine,” Steve agreed.

Some Thoughts (Mostly ZP, but still)…
—I’ve kinda hopped back onto the Zula Patrol train again since writing Turnabout, but I am planning on doing art and stories for other fandoms, too, of course ^^ I actually worked on chapter 4 of DCR and some more of Love Language for the first time in a month! Which is amazing progress since I had both writer’s block and worries that maybe a lot of folks aren’t interested in the story. But even if that were true, it’s not going to stop me from posting stories, especially about my favorite childhood show ^^
—I went a bit in depth about an OC who gets some focus in both DCR and a few other entries, Firestorm, who’s a military commander in one of the other Zulean branches (I’ll detail my own headcanons on the structure of the Zulean government in another headcanons post) and is one of the few people that Bula gets along with outside of his team because like him, she doesn’t tolerate the BS/corruption that goes on in the government. And somehow, I got the idea that in an alternate universe, they end up as a couple. It has me cracking up because now, I have three potential love interests for Bula: Zeeter (with whom I can see happening even in canon), Bonnie (my old OC whom I’ve revamped and even have a solo story for), and now Firestorm (who might get teased in the future). Bula’s literally building his own harem, LOL XD
—And then it got me thinking that if Bula’s a typical “clueless harem protagonist” (although unlike them, he makes himself useful and isn’t admired due to some random skill he has out of nowhere), Ricochet would be the “smug harem protagonist with a heart of gold” in that he dated Denise, Diane, Melissa, and many other women before he settled down. —I’ve also had an idea regarding the Third Sight ability. Originally, this ability has no offensive capability in any field whatsoever. But then I had a thought: what if there was a way, theoretically, that a user could hurt/even kill someone with their mind? It came about from a thought that DS! Elfilis (with whom Multo interacts with in my latest crossover) could totally do this easily, since he’s basically seen as a god (although he’s mortal) and he’s a lot more powerful/experienced with his psychic powers. Not to mention that between him and Multo, his cruel streak is not only bigger, but also more terrifying. It got me thinking that the Zuleans who have the Third Sight can do this same thing, namely in a moment of pure distress/fury, stemming from the desire to make the perpetrator feel every ounce of pain they felt at watching their loved one get hurt/killed. The name for this attack is called “Flashpoint” (or at least, it’s a working idea for a name). I had the idea that Multo accidentally stumbles across this ability after someone got the great (read: stupid) idea to hurt Zeeter or any of the others in front of him, and unable to physically defend them (due to being trapped), he’s filled with both horror at his loved ones being hurt, and pure rage at the perp, wanting nothing but for him to feel that same pain and worse. Cue that happening to the perp, with the guy literally losing his mind. With Multo being the kind of person he is, he’s shocked/horrified that he can do such a thing. One of the villains in my current WIP, Nova, takes an interest in Multo after finding out about him using this.
—And now, a part of me wants to do an alternative version of Multo that’s evil. That would be pretty terrifying. O.O
—Oh, I’m also thinking of getting back to The Return of the Phantom Empire soon, thanks to working on Firestorm’s profile. Just trying to work on the general plot of the side story, which focuses on Quick Draw McGraw, and possibly Quack-Up, namely in regards to the trauma he suffered before he joined the Galactic Guardians. This chapter isn’t gonna be quite as long as the first three chapters, but that might change, lol XD

“Oh this was such a great haul!”
Letting out a hum of agreement, you nodded. All the candy looked real tasty, but there were a few you didn’t have a particular liking too – so you handed those off to your friend.
You wondered if the streets were still open, but few here and there were already settling down into the night. Even with some that are actually already done with all the trick or treaters, you could recall a few good costumes you found during your extensive time as one of the few who actually decided to go out for halloween.
“Yeah,” Your friend says, “I gotta head home now, my mom set a curfew and I can’t be late.” They sheepishly said. You raised a knowing brow, but shrugged, you can understand their situation; “Don’t worry, I will be fine by myself. I need to go home too anyway.”
They smiled with relief, feeling as if a burden had been lifted from their shoulders. They waved you goodbye as they shouted, ‘Thank you! You're the best as always.’ You let out a long sigh, feeling a creeping anxiety set into the pit of your stomach. You didn’t like being alone by yourself at night on the streets, especially not for long. Regardless, you could manage in your unfortunate circumstances.
Though, all those costumes you saw were simply so comforting and dazzling.
Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Clowns, and a few. You couldn’t remember them all exactly, but they were very precious. There were pictures as proof, as you did ask for permission to take them. You thought they were nice people, having even exchanged contact information with one of them. Your friend from before was that person, you just clicked with them instantly. You wished they would have stuck around a little longer.
“Well, gotta get home.” You sigh, walking down the street as you keep your head held high. Not letting any little sound or misstep scare you.
Sounds of footsteps resound in your ears, reminding you to keep walking. It was your own fortunately, but something eerie sounded beneath your own. You certainly didn’t want to find out the source of that sound. So on forth, you continued walking. Up ahead you could see trees appear, laying in a row in front of the sidewalk you were walking upon. For a moment, the muscles in your ear spasmed, alerting you to something. It was random at times, but this appeared to be worse.
An all too familiar laugh resounds in your ear, glitchy yet affirming your silent suspicions. “You have to be kidding me.” You raise a brow, then continue walking, shifting into a hunched over stance as if to display to your pursuer that you were indeed scared of the situation you were placed in. For the most part, you could feel as if it worked. Sensing steps creeping up behind you, you jolted, shifting fully into running away. You didn’t want to stick around for his antics, you’ve had enough of them. But you could play into them for his sake, this felt fun for once.
“HAHAHA!” His laugh resounds once again in your ears, but it was as if it was stimulating. Yes, that was the word. Silly as it may sound, but his laugh was reassuring, that you weren’t actually alone.
And for a few minutes more, he chased you around the neighborhood. Having only lost sight of you once you dived behind somewhere, causing him to look around in confusion. Normally he had such good sight, so he looked around more, eyes glazing over the environment with careful trepidation.
‘No way I’m gettin old’ the demonic hedgehog thinks to himself, then shakes the thought off. “Hide And Seek huh? You may have chosen the wrong game.” He says, laughing once more as he looks around for you. His path was set and predetermined, so it wasn’t hard for you to angle your way around him, staying out of sight in the process.
Once you felt he was cornered, you snickered to yourself.
You could finally get the jump on him!
Carefully you stepped out, maneuvering your way toward him from behind so as to not alert him to your presence. He was still clearly very much looking for you, but it was in his unlucky state that you were actually-
“BOO!”

Huh! You know what! I think you are right and you should say it louder. To be fair I think he has other insecurities as well (and honestly all of them do. Raph, Leo, Donnie. But it's not about them rn).
Brace ya self I am having HC/ opinion and might be speaking outta my ass lol. And oh I am very chaotic with my thoughts so there's that
In Poland we say "it's darkest under the lamppost", which means the most obvious things are hardest to spot. Mikey is perceptive to others emotions but kinda blind to his own until someone points something out. Like
"Mike, why do you keep flying on that board."
To be fair I think the height insecurity easily relates to his other fears. He is the youngest, the smallest. He isn't as smart as Donnie and often says things others find annoying. He doesn't have "a great burden of leadership" like Leo, isn't the big protector like Raph. He is the silly one. He just wants his family together and have fun with them. Be with them. But he sometimes feels worse than them. Smaller than them in both height and purpose.
Maybe it was a mission that went wrong. While the other brothers were trying to run damage control Mikey didn't know what to do? His brothers' backs now so much taller and competent than his own.
I think first to notice something would be April. She is the most inquisitive - pros of being darn good reporter.
She notices how Mikey isn't cracking as many jokes as before. He spends a lot more time up in the pipes, not even flying around just sitting above everyone.
Mikey has always been an open book. He wears his heart and thoughts on his sleeve like 90% of the time. So a gentle push and a smile is all it takes for him to spill his guts and worries to her. Plus, how can he say no to April, his favourite human.
He wished to be taller, like Donnie. He could reach further, maybe go faster. Prevent bad things from happening. Help people better.
April reassures him or tries to and just hopes to get him to talk to his brothers. She promises she would be there with him to provide support. He's also her friend.
So she gets them all together. She gives Mikey the stage and he starts talking. Probably too much because now he's crying and the brothers just group hug him and just remind him of all the times he saved their hides. Yeah he's wild but being their wild card is good. He's so artistic, great at music and what's important he has so much compassion for others and emotions are so easy for him. Being the heart of the family doesn't make him less important. Without him the family is out of whack.
Raph probably remind him how being shorted than him has it perks because Raph can't get through narrow and tight spaces like Mikey can. And he's not as fast as Mikey.
Family isn't being uniform unit. It's their differences that make everyone work so well together - Splinter reminds them to cherish who they are and build each other up because of the differences not inspite of them.
Then Raph grabs Mikey and sits him on his shoulders. He wants to be taller? Then big bro can carry him around.
Special pizza delivery that night ;)

No matter the current situation versus potential situation, there are going to be parts of a move that suck and are stressful. Especially so if it involves moving states. But just because Some parts are going to inevitably suck doesn't mean all of it is doomed to. I'm not sure where your current residence is, but one good thing about moving somewhere that has regular heatwaves is that there are more resources available when it comes to dealing with them. IK that sounds kinda silly but I feel like it's the truth, ESP when it comes to moving somewhere that gets a lot of tourists. I don't want to be an old man "it's not the heat, it's the humidity" but as a native Floridian I can't help but stress that it's the truth xD.
Leaving a support system does sound very scary, but if it is around Orlando/Lake Buena Vista that you want to move to, at least it should be within reasonable distance of an airport when it comes to calling for help or needing to fly out for some reason. Traffic is going to suck, but like the heat it's something you will get used to. This is a move people make a lot, and while that doesn't make it any easier, I hope it helps it feel like it's not so dumb and impossible.
Another thing I want to include in this word wall is this: You're smart and an adult and I'm sure you don't need to be told that you're probably not going to get the exact position you want right away. It might be something you have to work up towards or have just a 'getting by' job until you do get your foot in the door or on the path to the door you wanna go through. It's gonna be hard and there are gonna be days in your happy place that aren't as happy and there are probably times you're gonna feel like it sucks. But sucky days aren't going to completely eliminate the possibility of good days.
I believe in you and have all of my fingers and toes crossed that this is something that works out in your favor with as few hiccups as possible. The chances of there being no hiccups at all is really slim, but, I am still hoping and praying that things swing in your favor as much as they can.

You’re right, I hadn’t thought of the various resources for heat they’ve got. My previous college program, they were able to move me to nights or early mornings which was nice! I really enjoyed working those. Opening was a joy tbh. Closing was a joy as well.
That is the area - like a 20 mile range from WDW lol. The traffic is something I’m not as worried about because I did it in my programs and lawd my hometown has it worse.
I’m coming from a gentrified medium city on the Eastern seaboard that’s gotten too many incoming tourists for our infrastructure to handle. It’s bumper to bumper from 4:30 to 6 at cross sections because there’s only one or two major routes. Maddening.
You’re right about the airport. My town flies direct to MCO so that’ll be easy. (Just gotta solve the pets for trips back and forth…)
Absolutely, I’m expecting to have to network and work my way up. I’m going to apply for everything when the time is right and see what sticks. My husband will be able to find a job, EZPZ. I’ve got a nice resume and I’m planning to really make my LinkedIn page nice? Try to network on Disney’s alumni website too. See if I can find any work that’s $20+ with them. 🤷🏼♀️ If not, I’ll go executive assistant route or try the other theme park or teach. (In Florida? It’s lowest on my list.) Disney has multiple roles for me to use my education degree. Just, like you said, got to get my foot in the door
Thank u kind stranger. This is a large move. And it’s not impossible… But it is life changing. It’s not just me involved. Thinking about how much I love my current job (at the moment) is making me hesitate too. Idk, next years’s students may have me packing my bags.
Our plan is to move at the new year. Professional internships will have started if I need to go that route. I’ll have stayed a semester at my school, we’ll have Christmas goodbyes and enough money saved to pay everything we need to for the move. Just feels right.

Hmmm but things working off of "game logic" and the world being real doesn't need be exclusive. Both can be true.
Where the inhabitants see pixels and code just as we see inches and atoms. It is very real to them. It is reality to them. Just based on strings of code for laws of physics and essence of existence. Blocks and pixels rather than our elements and curves.
A world built im blocks and voxels which we outsiders, players, mere visitors, see as a game, doesn't negate the fact it might just be as real for the people and mobs living there. They don't need have the same game interface as we do. They don't have the vast dimensional pocket the inventory is or the magical crafting skills or the raw fist tree punching abilities.
Players may just be the oddity, the weird, the ones feeling outta place which otherwise would be a real place like any other.
I am not negating or arguing your take, not at all! You do as you feel fit for your story your worlds! There's wonder in creativity and free mind.
I just wanted to share my humble side of mind that one truth doesn't necessarily negate the other. Especially that ask blogs tend to be rather interactive and you may meet dificulties if met with characters of other "world rules". No biggie! Just a rambling passerbya!

Currently the body types won't assume a lot much more than the word and possibly synonyms to the word. That's because it's so subjective. So--if I were to make further content about it I probably will have to ask further questions about that setting <3 I do think it would be fun and interesting to do!

Save to say we're all insecure at times, but it kinda breaks my heart when I see people worry about their portrayal due to canon. I feel you, I have these doubts too. It's like easiest (just right after comparing roleplayers) topics to get upset because of. So let me just-
Nothing we all write is canon.
Canon is the source material and trivia, behind the scenes, such stuff. Even when creators of the original media say something, it's not always canon either. Fanworks are never canon.* They can be canon compliant to greater or smaller extent, but it's never canon. It's not the media after all. So why bother so much about it? We're here for fun. We create fics, roleplays, arts, edits and the rest for fun.
I'm not immune to that doubt, but if I was to stick to canon, I'd drop my muse faster than speed of light. I cannot stomach rwby's canon anymore, so I wouldn't be able to write topics I find ignorant and harmful.
So I believe the main question is: do you have fun creating your stuff?
If yes - awesome! Let's go! Let's write edgy, cringe, silly, and whatever else stuff that sparks joy. There is no competition to win after all. The joy of creating something together with someone is all the reward to gain. There is no more canon vs less canon. It might feel like that, but there's only people's preferences what they prefer to lean into. Want some unpredictable twists? Roleplay! Want some specific thing you control events of? Write fanfic! Want explore looks of your fave? Draw, commission, play with creators like picrew! Have fun! (Don't do illegal stuff, that much goes without saying.)
If not - what can you change? Why is it upseting or hurts your feelings somehow? Or maybe it's not interesting enough? There are many solutions to that problem, but I can't offer any advice. Everyone is different and each experience goes differently. I believe finding your why, what you want and how can you get closer to it is the key to improving the experience. Without aggresion of course. Respect others but respect yourself too and communicate. Maybe someone said something that planted doubts in you, so maybe talking with them to clarify what they ment or talking with someone else would comfort you?
Canon doesn't mean quality. Canon doesn't equal fun. Stop worrying about straying from it and have fun <3 I can't imagine rpc without all the lovely OCs around and they're pretty obviously not canon. Canon is only a base for fanworks to start from. Have roots in canon, but bloom freely, my beautifully creative friends!
*edit: yes, fanworks can be included to canon, but it's usually explicitly stated and a known fact if it occures. I just reminded me Star Wars. there is too much regarding canon / non-canon there. Not the point anyway xD

In my defense, the accidental lie has been going on for 4 years and each time I run into HS content I send it to this guy... which probably has worsened the lie, so like at this point I might as well go out with a bang

Karkat - I was obsessed with him then and I’m obsessed with him now he’s a loud whining piece of shit with a pretty bad attitude. Mainly a character based on him would yell as their normal speaking volume, swear a LOT and also creatively, but is also hiding an insecurity. The thing about him is he has a mutant blood color that would get him killed on his planet- so he can’t let anyone find out, he can’t accidentally bleed or cry (tears are their blood color) in front of anyone. So maybe your character is also hiding something super important? He gets along best with people who don’t really take his bitching to heart since his bitching is his way of showing real concern- he does actually care about his friends no matter how many times he calls them idiots. Also is really interested in romance as a concept and likes romcoms. He uses dual sickles as a weapon- I figure you may want this information since they’re dnd characters.
Dave - Cool kid, sunglasses he never takes off, he raps and makes beats on his turntables. He’s obsessed with irony and sorta doesn’t know how to enjoy anything without being ironic about it? Enjoys frustrating people WITH his irony. I struggle with characterizing him bc I’ve consumed a lot of fanon, but maybe that will make your presentation of him more authentic XD? A safe bet is to make your character kinda deadpan in tone but still be able to crack jokes and act pretty silly. If given the opportunity to be the hero he will not take it, he rejects the idea that he should be anyone important. He fights with swords and has a tendency to break them- but still uses them anyway. He gets the power to time travel later on, and can stop a person in time too, dunno how you’d implement that tho.
Vriska - … very very tough for me to summarize her… but I can say that a character based off her has killed one friend, paralyzed one friend, and blinded one friend, but then feel little to no remorse about any of it because they believe they’re the main character and nothing bad will happen to them since it’s all part of their story (though, she blinded that one person because that person blew up her left arm and left eye BECAUSE vriska killed that one friend). Ahem. Got carried away. Your character just did some pretty bad shit that makes them seem untrustworthy. She’s very lucky tho- it’s part of her powers- so your character should be too. She has a spider motif but it only really manifests in her adoration for spiders and her way of typing, so you may not have to worry about that. She’s popularly called the “huge 8itch” if that helps. She fights by rolling die? And depending on how they land they’ll do more or less damage. I don’t really know the specifics? But her luck powers enable her to roll exactly what she wants every time
Rose - rose is also tough for me… she’s a writer and can use a lot of big words and constructs sorta needlessly complicated sentences but she’s got a lot of wit and loves being sarcastic. She’s.. gothy? Has an interest in the occult and occult myths and she’s also pretty fascinated by wizards but I think tries to be lowkey about it? She’s a very smart and clever person too- so much so that in fanon people tend to forget she’s also kinda silly. Sorry that’s all I can say ^^; she fights using a pair of knitting needles- eventually they can also conduct magic and do damage that way. The power she gets later on is- sorta like knowing the future? She can only know the GOOD outcome but she knows specifics so that she can tell her team how they can end up getting the good outcome- she’s the strategist of the group
John - the leader of the kids! suuuper cheery and has the ability to pretty much make friends with anyone. He ends up being naive tho and may not realize when someone is trying to take control of him. He’s very interested in pranks and overall being a silly goofster ✨ if it ever comes up under no circumstances will he eat baked confections. No cakes especially. He loooves Nicolas cage and ghostbusters and some other older movies I can’t remember- other characters just tend to say he likes bad movies but he adamantly believes they’re very good. So maybe your character can also defend something that may objectively be kinda bad? His iconic weapon class is hammers 💪💪 but he also gets wind powers later- he can summon tornados or even fade into air to travel in the wind and appear somewhere else

It may be helpful to point out for nepeta- she has a best friend who’s very concerned about her well-being, equius. He even so much as controls what she can and can’t do (kinda only about certain things that are super dangerous). I don’t really like him as a character, but your npc might be hesitant to do something before asking their best friend for permission. He’s a stickler and very no-nonsense and will likely deny anything too dangerous? But also he’s incredibly terrifyingly physically strong- so your pcs wouldn’t win a fair fight with him. He also sucks up to any royalty. If any pc is royalty he’ll do anything they say. A trademark of his is that he gets very sweaty very easily and also very much likes horses. Also he likes milk. Idk. Nepeta’s weapons are these retractable claw glove things- and equius WOULD use a bow and arrow but breaks every single bow he picks up because he can’t control his strength. Instead, he fights with his fists 👍

(they’re all kinda friends but I point out their most important relationships, ones your pcs may ask about, they’re also ordered from lowest to highest class) kept these summaries vague so you can insert your npcs in their place?
Aradia - she’s dead don’t worry about her, if asked she was into roleplay, archaeology, and adventuring. friends with Terezi, dated sollux, killed by vriska if you need to know
Tavros - he’s the one who’s paralyzed from the waist down, he has no confidence whatsoever, likes the troll equivalent of Pokémon, has a bull motif, has lots of conflicting feelings about vriska (is constantly manipulated by her), and is friends with Gamzee. Attacks with a jousting spear
Sollux - likes coding and computers, has a red and blue and duality motif, speaks with a lisp, also likes bees a lot. Will not eat honey if asked tho, friends with karkat and hates Eridan. Dates Aradia and feferi. Attacks with his very strong telepathic powers, could kill him if he’s over exerted
Karkat - friends with sollux, kanaya, Jade, has a crush on Terezi but is normal about being friends with her, and is sorta chill with Gamzee and Eridan. Dates Dave but really really hated him to begin with so be careful, may say he hates Dave if asked- they date late into homestuck… would say he hates everyone if asked. Except kanaya
Nepeta - BEST friends with equius, kinda friends with Terezi? Roleplayed with her sometimes but terezi’s a little mean about it cant tell
Kanaya - she’s a very reliable friend, but fears she’s too meddlesome. interested in fashion and is also a vampire 👍 very good friends friends with karkat and dates rose (do not separate) Hates Gamzee and Eridan if asked. Attacks with a chainsaw that can also transform into lipstick
Terezi - LAWFUL whatever your character is theyre lawful. Loves dragons and she’s blind but she can smell/taste colors to the point where she can kinda see? She has something very complicated going on with vriska (she’s the one vriska blinded, but still sorta loves her as a friend). Attacks with a blade concealed in her walking stick
Vriska - she lost her left arm and eye but she gets a robot arm. Has something complicated with Tavros (kinda crushes on him kinda hates him) and Terezi, turned down a confession from Eridan (but he asks out everyone so it’s not that big a deal) but they were friends in the past
Equius - ehhhh I don’t like him idk he has a crush on Aradia and it’s weird, big thing about him is he makes robots idk. Brutally protective of nepeta- they’re best friends
Gamzee - stoner who’s (and I mean this literally) religiously devoted to clowns- wears face paint all the time and has clown horns everywhere for him to honk. Friends with tavros and karkat but everyone (but tavros) sorta treats him like a useless stoner when he’s just trying to be friendly (ahem. Until some crazy story stuff goes down but i won’t spoil it in case you read) should not be without his substance for too long or people will die not exaggerating. Attacks with clubs.
Eridan - classist royalty, fish guy pirate, interested in war and strategy, makes fish puns I think. Has a crush on Feferi but they’re supposed to be best friends. Used to be friends with vriska but confessed to her. Hates Sollux bc when Feferi stopped being best friends with Eridan, she went on to date Sollux. He’s rizzless. Completely rizzless. Attacks with a cool harpoon gun. Doesn’t believe in magic if asked.
Feferi - THE empress like she’s as royal as you can get, but she’s in waiting for when the current empress passes. she’s also a fish but she’s not classist- she cares a lot for people and animals and would abolish the ableist classist regime of the planet they live on if she had the power, until then she tends to aquatic animals n stuff (not afraid to kill people if necessary tho, she knows how to survive). Friends with Eridan but only to keep him from killing people, stops being friends him when there are no more people TO kill around. Dates Sollux later. Also makes fish puns. Attacks with a two pronged trident.

THE KIDS
I won’t go into the alpha kids or the other set of 12 trolls bc I’m very rough with them and also they’re not as important?
Dave - raised by his older brother who taught him sword fighting but was also super neglectful as a gaurdian and traumatized him with puppets and constant sword training and pranks. All the kids are very good friends with each other so nothing of note there but he goes on to date karkat- if asked tho he canonically was kinda struggling with finding out he was gay, though if your PCs don’t want to deal with that then do what fanon does and ignore that (I also ignore it). He’s also technically siblings with rose but doesn’t share the mom TECHNICALLY. If asked he doesn’t have a mom unless you want me to go into the alpha kids OTL
John - has just a dad who cares about him very much. And if asked regards his late grandmother very fondly. He doesn’t go on to date anyone but he does kinda hate Terezi? Troll romance is complicated I shouldn’t explain it. He’s technically siblings..? With Jade? But they don’t share the grandparents or the dad.
Rose - dates kanaya I’m serious do not separate them. She has a mom who’s an alcoholic but has a pretty humorous oneupmanship going on between them. She’s technically siblings with Dave but doesn’t share the brother
Jade - ok. So. She was raised by an omnipotent dog. Her grandpa died when she was very young and her dog (bec) took care of her. She’s very cheery - even cheerier and sweeter than John but she will not take any shit she’s not naive like him. She’s interested in science and robots and botany she’s very good at growing plants but she lived all alone on an island for most of her life. She always had visions of the future growing up but was never creeped out by them, always staying optimistic. Her main weapon is a rifle- not sure how that translates in dnd? She later gets the power to manipulate space itself- make things massive or very tiny, she gets telepathy and can move objects around at near the speed of light, and can teleport. She also becomes part dog later. I’d say she’s lawful good? Probably easy bet. She’s friends with karkat, kinda friends with Feferi, in one universe she dated an alternate version of Dave- not the Dave your PCs would meet, so if asked I dont think she exactly had a crush on him- I believe they both said their feelings are complicated. Technically siblings with John but like I said don’t share the parents

5 Facts About Me

I live and grew up in rural Germany
Always been here, in a tiny town (less than 1000 residents) and everyday really at this point I'm torn about wanting to leave or wanting to stay XD Job opportunities are scarce, the infrastructure sucks, it's an absolute pain in the ass to be this far out and away from bigger cities with so many more opportunities and services (be it something as silly as being able to order takeout or something as serious as finding queer-friendly medical professionals). On the other hand, it's very peaceful here. I'm surrounded by mountains, forests, lakes, I can see so many stars at night, it's amazing. Something in between would be cool, where I get nature but also a little more convenience (a supermarket in walking distance would be the dream, having to rely less on a car to get somewhere in general), but I haven't found that place yet.
I have a cat
Her name is Luna, and she is a feisty little menace and one of the sweetest and funniest cats I've ever known! She's been with me since late 2019, adopted from a shelter where she was notorious for getting into fights with other cats and staff apparently XD When I picked her up the first time she immediately snuggled up to me and gave me lots of kisses xD Could say it was love at first sight really. Also, I leash-trained her and we go on little outdoor adventures regularly (another reason why I'd like to remain living near a place where we can keep doing that).

I have 7, 3 in my face, 4 in my ears altogether. And I want moooore, but I'm paralyzed by all the choices :D One I've wanted for a long time is a nose bridge one, and I think it would suit me, but it would also intensify my resting bitch face by 100% so, I'm a little on the fence still xD I might also be a little obsessed with the one my V has on his cheek, because that's one I'd never really seen on a real life person before. They do exist though, as dermal anchors/implants and I think I've also seen pics where they looked like done "regularly", kinda like eyebrow piercings, so more research and a consultation by a professional are required before I settle on anything XD
I studied Computer Science and Media
I never finished my course though, didn't get a degree, and I beat myself up for it for a long time. I quit in the first place because I was so burnt out and depressed and unhappy with everything to do with uni, it really almost killed my creative drive for good. Not only were we constantly told we'd only have a chance in jobs and fields after graduating that sounded absolutely dreadful to me, the faculty itself seemed to make it as hard as possible for us every step of the way to reach the end of the course (from "killer-exams" to get rid of the students only in it with "the wrong intentions", and a horribly disorganized administration that regularly just lost your grades and scores and tried to blame it on you). I'm someone who loves learning, and I loved learning what I did there. I have many amazing memories of people and projects we got to work on. But it's all overshadowed by the awful strucutures in place around it. I'd still like to study something some day, maybe to do with art or history or film or languages... but currently I'm kinda just happy existing and doing things at my own pace, without too much outside pressure to perform.
I work at a supermarket and am a registered freelance artist
I have a stable, permanent, part-time job at a supermarket (the wine and liquors department is all mine to manage basically, and I don't even drink XD but it's a lot of fun there really. Unless when something breaks...)
Money-wise, this job's just enough to not worry too much about life atm, but I wouldn't mind more xD It being part-time gives me a lot of free time I wouldn't have at most "regular" jobs, but rarely having a weekend sucks big time, especially when most of your friends work "regular" jobs.
I'm also registered as a freelance illustrator, and I'd love to get back into the swing of offering commissions again at some point, or building a small creative business somehow that would make the supermarket job obsolete in the end (just havent quite figured out what and how to pull that off, all attempts so far semi-successful XD). But yeh, that's like, the ultimate dream, really. Just making art and living off of it, and still having the time to follow my hobbies and go on adventures with my cat xD Don't need fame or riches, just want a comfortable, happy life bringing joy to others with what I do. And that joy-part, and feeling useful is what's lacking at my current dayjob. It's a job, it pays the bills, it can be fun and leaves a little bit of creativity here and there even... but it's not as fulfilling as I'd wish it to be.

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E13 (“The Medusa's True Face”)
(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)
My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Thirteen:
01. Time to get Kaseki back - and after that, it's drone time!
02. This episode's title is, "The Medusa's True Face!" :O
03. Gen's right that the way Senku is going about this is a little too unceremonious... and if I were Kaseki, I don't think I'd like having that mark on my back!
04. Taiju can hold his breath for a few minutes?! Everybody else is shocked at how casually he thinks of a few hundred trips, but Senku wasn't surprised at all! :)
05. Hmm, "buckle;" Gen used that word in relation to Senku and Byakuya before, too... now it's for Senku and Taiju...
06. Suika, nooo! Don't say "poop hole!!" XD
07. Kaseki has been revived! It's adorable how Suika's copying his hand and body gestures, just like she did with Senku before! :)
08. He had such confidence in his friends and comrades!
09. Senku knew that the kelp would work just fine, because he knew Kaseki would explode after finding out about the drone project! But then Kaseki's cheerfulness took a hit when he saw the state the mobile lab car was in...!
10. They probably collected the bird feathers while they were out, after they learned more about the petrification weapon... I'll have to pinpoint exactly when someday...
11. Leonardo da Vinci was an art genius AND a science genius; that was one lucky dude!
12. That's a really smart way to separate those small metal balls by size!
13. I like how the anime gives us a much better idea of the passage of time. The cave is darker now, so it seems to be nighttime during the time Taiju and Soyuz are coming back to the others :)
14. Ryusui was so sentimental as he looked at Chrome, Francois, and Ukyo... and then this random dude is thrown into the mix and the music disappears and he's just like, "Who?" Perfect comedic timing by the anime! :D
15. And then after they talk about the random guy a bit, the touching music starts up again, hahaha! XD
16. Kaseki's reveal of the working drone was cooler in the manga, but this is good too! :)
17. Don't worry, Ginro! Kohaku believes in you! You can do it! :D
18. Oooh, Mozu...!
19. As if Kohaku would reveal anything about her friends! :O
20. Ginro, you have a secret pineapple weapon, so you're not there unarmed! And you're talking like a man again; please get it together, or you might be discovered!
21. "Oh-so-lovingly?" Ibara's so creepy... :O
22. Oh, good, Kohaku has a weapon! It looks like a butcher knife, but it's still a weapon! And she defeated thirteen people in just a few seconds!
23. They really made Mozu look protective of Kohaku in the anime, didn't they? First the selection, and now this fight!
24. Wow, looks like they teach teleportation on Treasure Island... XD
25. The best of the petrification kingdom versus the best of the kingdom of science!
26. Ginro was motivated not by the thought of helping everybody get information, but by the thought that Kohaku might kill him if he wasted his chance to find out something useful XD
27. The master of the island is a petrified statue...
28. Finally, Ibara's as menacing as he was in the manga! Well, closer, anyway. The anime made him really soft and silly, but now he's closer to what he originally was. Although... that's really bad news for Ginro...
29. So compared to Kohaku, Mozu is THAT strong?! Dozens of her wouldn't be able to beat him? That can't be... right? :O And I like how the anime gives a clearer picture of how the fight is going!
30. The flower petals falling off of Kohaku... I wonder if they're supposed to be a substitute for blood? Like they're a symbol of how outmatched she is?
31. "I like strong girls, too, as long as they have a pretty face. What kind of men do you like, Kohaku-chan? How about me? I'm strong."
32. "Strength is strength of mind. To be able to continue hammering a wedge for as long as it takes to carry out one's will. That's the kind of man I'm drawn to. Well, this is a problem, Moz. You seem to be the exact opposite."
33. "You're so cute, Kohaku-chan. But you aren't cute."
34. Sooo... I'm glad we've finally arrived at this scene, but the translation... it was SO MUCH BETTER in the manga! It was SO clear that Kohaku was talking about Senku, because she said something incredibly similar to him the day they met! Argh, why did they use THESE English subtitles for this scene? I know exactly how this was supposed to go, but the way they worded it... ah, well, I hope people can still see who Kohaku truly meant...!
35. Okay, so Ibara has confirmed that he has straight-up murdered previous harem members because they saw the master of the island... yikes! It was a good idea for Ginro to jump away from him, but the fact that he was actually able to jump from that height and come out unscathed is impressive!
36. Ack, don't distract Kohaku, Ginro! Can't you see she's fighting an extremely powerful enemy?! -_-
37. But I guess that had to happen so that Kohaku could see exactly HOW Ginro was injured... Ibara's weapons are horrifying!
38. Oh, Ginro... :(
39. With his last breath, he's giving Kohaku the information he discovered... I've watched this before, but this is STILL made me cry. again... :O
40. Kohaku is incredible. The master's house is probably the tallest point in the whole tree infrastructure thing going on. Ginro jumped DOWN from that to flee from Ibara; then he was stabbed in multiple places and fell DOWN past where Kohaku had been fighting Mozu...
41. ...and then after receiving Ginro's information, she carries him in her arms; speaks briefly to Amaryllis; runs on the wooden platform; jumps UP thick tree branches; runs UP an almost completely vertical wooden platform; runs UP a gigantic tree trunk; and jumps UP to the island master's rooftop.
42. From the time she started running, she already knew what she had to do - and not only was it a great personal risk, but it also required incredible speed and athleticism, and this was AFTER she had just fought a very powerful enemy (who seemed to have just vanished, hahaha)!
43. Nobody seems to want to indulge what I think the Medusa looks like. Because I read the manga, I imagined it to be grey, like stone. Then later on, I think I saw a colorized version of that panel that somebody had made, and they had colored the Medusa green...
44. ...And NOW in the official anime, it's blue (sort of metallic blue, but still blue, unless it's just reflecting the color around it), but it turns green when activated. Am I the only one who thought it was grey??
45. (Also, they missed something in the process just before they fully lit up the Medusa's petrifying light, but maybe they want to show it later?)
46. Kohaku knew she had to make them petrify them so that Ginro could be saved... :'( Just like how Byakuya passed the baton to his descendants, Kohaku passed the baton to Amaryllis... You know an ending scene is EPIC when they're playing the ending song over it... :O
47. Her last thought was of Senku! :D She has so much faith in him and in science and their friends! :O
48. Well, at least we get part of the ending song, and see Kohaku coming home to Senku... :)
49. What an episode! So much bravery and strength and love, especially from Ginro and Kohaku! While I wasn't happy with how they translated that scene I mentioned, that doesn't take away from the courage they both showed in the last scene... they were incredible! :O The next episode's title is going to be "Deal Game, Test of Wit," and it's going to air tonight! I can't wait to see Senku's reaction to Amaryllis' news! :O

The ending scenes of Wishmaker had a lot of development and foreshadowing.
On the positive note, both Adrien and Marinette are moving on. The theme of the future isn’t as scary for them anymore. They feel ready to tackle it on even though they were so lost at the beginning of the episode.
Adrien (as he is looking a picture of him with his mom) : I may not remember my childhood dream, but that’s okay. It’s time to focus on the future and find my inner music like Luka said.
Adrien steps forward and while he accepts part of his past, he decides that what matters is what is ahead of him. He sets himself in a quest to find himself. Which contrasts with his scene with Kagami inside the art club at the beginning of Lies where he thought he knew himself.
Kagami : These are all modeling poses. Try something that is more natural, more you.
Adrien : What about meow! Err.. I mean, now.
Kagami : No. You are not at all natural.
Adrien : Yes, I am. I promise. This is the real me.
Kagami : No! It’s you when you are being silly.
Adrien : What if I’m being silly I’m really me?
Adrien has arrived at a point where he is questionning where he stands. He said so at the beginning of the episode. Both about his civilian and superhero sides of him.
Plagg : Don’t you want to continue to model?
Adrien : I don’t think so, Plagg. I’m doing it now because my father asked me to and I realize now I don’t know what else I want to do. I’ve never asked myself that question...
Plagg : What do you think of Chat Noir as a career?
Adrien : Well, since Ladybug keeps giving Miraculous out to other Holders, one day, she’ll probably won’t need me anymore.
Adrien realizes his life and role is either controlled or dependant of others because he personally doesn’t know what he wants for himself. And this is one of the reasons that lead for Chat Blanc’s akumatization to turn awry. Because he was torn and lost. Because the two most important people of his life were trying to influence him in opposite direction when he was in an extreme vulnerable mental state that didn’t allow him to think for himself. And because he lost control of himself, his powers went out of control too.
And in that timeline, because he was living a dream, CB!Adrien had never mentally prepared himself to find his own voice before the reality punch him in the face.
Now, it is too early to say that Chat Blanc has been fully avoided, because there is still a lot of work to do, but after Wishmaker (along with Optigami, Sentibubbler and Rocketear), Adrien is on the right path to find his voice and find what he truly wants for himself.
As for Marinette...
Marinette (facing the choices ahead of her) : You know what? I’ve decided I’ll do it all! I’ll be Ladybug. I’ll design clothes, jewelry, furnitures, space rockets! I’ll be Luka’s best friend and I will love Adrien!
Fluff : But how are you going to do it at the same time?
The choice of Fluff in this particular scene is very clever.
Fluff is the Kwami of Evolution and is heavily associated to time. Their Miraculous is a watch and their superpower allows their holder to time-travel.
But there is more to that. It is a recall to Timetagger. To a discussion Ladybug had with Bunnyx.
Bunnyx : You can always count on Ladybug. With her around, every problem has a solution.
Ladybug : How I ever get to be like that...?
Bunnyx : By growing up, Minibug.
This was how Marinette was. Unsure, overhelmed. But look at her now.
Marinette : I don’t know how yet, but yes, I can do this!
She is boasting with confidence. She is accepting herself how she is. She is most probably chasing two hares at the same time, but she also accepts she will drop it sometimes too. She is confident she can rebound. But while I love how determined she is and isn’t scared of the unknown variables (for now), I cannot help but notice she appears to have forgotten something.
In her enumeration, she forgets to count Chat Noir, her partner. I am a bit worry about this. Being Ladybug means many things to her, but I’m afraid she is solely focusing on the duty of her job and doesn’t realize she is lacking on the human relationship aspect of her job with her partner.
I mean, it’s great that Marinette loves herself now and feels she can face anything now. It’s a great step she has accomplished since the end of S3 and the show is not subtil about it at all xD Like...
Right after she has come to her conclusions, we get Fabulous Alec appearing on screen with the moral.
Alec : And now we are going to love one another, starting with everyone loving themselves! Because how are you going to love other people if you don’t love yourself?
And both Marinette and Adrien have accomplished that. They have evolved from the selves they were back at the end of Truth and Lies. But now, Adrien needs to build himself enough to face his father, but also to find his place in Ladybug’s team. And Marinette needs to have some important discussions with her partner.
And this is summed up in the ending card
Fabulous Alec is the manifestation of self-love and he reaches everyone with his light, shielding them from Shadow Moth. There are also music notes that creates a barrier. Because Luka’s music allegories have made an impact on both Marinette and Adrien.
Marinette has her music note and it is as if she owns it. Adrien doesn’t have any note nearby him because he has just begun his personal quest.
We see Ladybug and Chat Noir fighting together while being watched over by Luka who now knows both superherores’ secret identity.
Also, please note where Adrien is place in the picture. He is at the bottom right. And it feels like Adrien is leaving the frame completely. And to be himself, he may need to continue to distance himself in the process. But it also places him in the complete opposite direction where Shadow Moth is. Adrien is heading in a different direction that Shadow Moth AKA Gabriel AKA his father might want him to stay.
As for Marinette/Ladybug, she is not noticing the growing distance occuring.

Luffy:
He absolutely loves...LOVES when you match his energy
He’s a very hyper boy, so finding you and seeing that you can be just as hyper as him if not more?
He loves it
He always invites you to play on the deck with Chopper and Usopp
He especially loves playing tag
You better run fast…
He’ll catch you in a tackle and have you both rolling across the deck
Sanji will scold him for being too rough with you, but you eat it up
You catch him similarly
You know he can take it when you tackle him
With his devil fruit you know nothing you do could hurt him
Every once in a while you’ll take his breath away...literally
But other than that, he loves when you both can play off each other’s energy
If you’re worried about seeming dumb to him...don’t even think about it
He’s not the brightest himself so he doesn’t even notice if you seem dumb
He also loves that you can make him laugh
“Tell another joke y/n!”
He will listen to your jokes day and night
Zoro:
At first...he found you annoying
He thought you were just as dumb as Luffy
But you were nakama
He would still come to your aid if ever you needed it
But after a while...he starts to see past the intellect
Your kindness, your humor, your drive
He falls for you fast once he starts to pay attention to you
His love language is quality time
So often he’ll have you sit in the room with him while he trains
He often won’t say anything, but he will often look your way to make sure you’re watching him train
If you wanted to train with him...he can barely contain his excitement
“I’m not going to go easy on you.”
Except he does
Every...single...time
He likes to laugh, so hearing your jokes is always a good time for him
He likes to nap with you, but you’re often too energetic for that
He understands, but he’ll nap close to you
Even if you can only cuddle and sit still for a few minutes
It doesn’t take him long to fall asleep, so a few minutes is all he needs
He doesn’t care that you leave to play with the crew
Just being around you for a short period of time is enough for him
Nami:
She didn’t pay much attention to you at first, since intellect is something she looked for in a partner
She’d befriend you, but didn’t think it would go anywhere
But she slowly fell for you as she watched you and the crew play
She didn’t participate, more than content to just watch with Robin
But every once in a while she’ll play with you guys
The crew noticed immediately
She never played with them…
But that all changed once you came around
You asked her so sweetly to join and she couldn’t say no to that face…
She gets a bit frustrated when she just wants to relax and cuddle but you can’t sit still
Eventually, she learns to cope with it
After all, your energy is something that had her fall in love with you to begin with
Still, she would often try to cuddle you
Luckily you get to sleep in the same room, so she usually keeps cuddling reserved for bedtime
Though most nights you stay up later than her, always trying to use up all your energy for the day before turning in for the night
Once you’re ready to sleep, you know she’ll always be there to cuddle each other to sleep
“Silly y/n...you’ve worn yourself out, huh? Come here...let me cuddle you to sleep.”
Usopp:
Honestly...you exhaust him sometimes
You’re more energetic than he is, but he tries to match your energy which leaves him exhausted
It’s nothing against you, he just needs a break sometimes
He likes to play with the others on the crew, but he has his limits
Once he starts getting to exhausted he breaks away for a nap
If you wanted to nap with him...that’d be nice
But he knows you might not be ready to take a nap when he is
He knows chances are, no matter how long his nap is, you’ll be back to playing with the crew when he wakes up
And then starts the whole process again
He likes to fish as well, but oftentimes you have too much energy for it
You like to tell jokes, and Usopp will always laugh at them
“Haha, that was a really good one y/n! Now how do you like THIS one?”
Will swap jokes with you for days
His arsenal of jokes never seems to run out, so you better have a lot prepared
Sanji:
He adores that you’re so energetic
Intelligence doesn’t matter to him, he’ll flirt with any girl so at first you had no idea he had feelings for you
You can be rather oblivious...so you didn’t notice when he stopped flirting with Nami and Robin
They pointed it out to you
That’s when he confessed
He would love if you would help him cook, he thinks it will be a good outlet for your energy
And besides, you both loved spending time with each other
Why not while doing something you both can enjoy?
He can be energetic, but much less so than you or Luffy
Your jokes always make him laugh
“Y/n-swan, that was hilarious! You’re so good at making people laugh. I really enjoy that about you.”
He will pout if he wants to cuddle but you can’t sit still, but he understands you need to get that energy out first
He’ll take up sitting and watching you play on the deck
He won’t participate unless you asked him veeeeery sweetly
When he does play with you guys...he gives it his all
But he always...always lets you win
Chopper:
He plays off your energy...and you play off his
Creating an endless circle of hype
He loves that you’ll play games with him, Usopp, and Luffy
You bond as friends that way
Sometimes you’ll play teams, Luffy always gets Usopp and you have Chopper
It’s an unspoken agreement
Though if you and Chopper win too much...the other two will accuse you of cheating
Somehow
He hops around in excitement when you begin to play
Equally...you hop around seeing him hop around
You always sit next to each other a dinner
While you’re all nakama...you’re his best friend, and he’s yours
While playing hide and seek, you find Chopper first
Always seeming to know where he’ll be
You find him under a gurney in his office, and you find him asleep
Seems like he was really tired after all
You smile and pick him up, taking him to his room
“I’ll always protect you, Chopper.”
He mumbles softly in his sleep “I’ll always protect you...I love you y/n”
“I love you too buddy.”
Robin:
Opposites attract much?
Where you come across as dumb...she radiates an air of intellect
Where you’re always bouncing with energy...she’s calm and collected
She didn’t believe in opposites attract until she met you
You contrast each other well, and she adores getting to see you play with her crew, the people that mean the most to her in the world
You become part of that, becoming someone special to her heart
She knows very early on that she’s developing feelings for you
She’s not only booksmart...but emotionally intelligent as well
It might catch you off guard when she confesses, but when you reply with a smile and affirmation that the feelings were returned she gives you the biggest smile you’ve ever seen on her
She enjoys watching you play with her crew
Though she would never join in, content to watch from the sidelines
She honestly likes that you aren’t knowledgeable about some of her favorite topics
It means she gets to teach it to you
She’ll sit down with you, books in hand
If you expressed not wanting to learn, she wouldn’t push it
However it makes her happy to teach you, even if you are pretty slow to learn
Franky:
Oh boy...oooooh boy
He returns your energy 10 fold
He’ll start by telling you jokes, and you return with your own
Overall some of the jokes are...terrible
But you both laugh until you cry
It’s good to have a connection like yours
He doesn’t care if you’re smart or not, he just enjoys spending time with you
You’ll find him either repairing the ship, or inventing something new
You’re always his tester
“Hey look y/n! I made something new, care to try it out with me?”
It ranges from new weapons for the crew to new games he made on the fly
He loves to spend time with you, it’s always filled with laughter and smiles
Every once in a while you’ll convince him to take a break to play with the crew
He gives it his all, and shows no mercy
Despite the fact that he loves you
It makes you laugh knowing you never have to worry about him holding back
Brook:
He can’t match your energy. He just can’t
He’ll often find himself watching you play while sitting with Nami and Robin
He’ll play music to set the mood when you play, knowing a wide variety of songs
Some are upbeat, some are intense
He’s become your designated mood-setter
Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper LOVE this
It makes the games you play even more fun!
He also likes to play you quiet songs to help you fall asleep
He loves that he can express himself to you via music
“Oh y/n, I love watching you play with my own eyes! Ah! I have no eyes! Ahaha.”
He likes to teach you songs on his violin, and doesn’t care if it takes you a while to learn them
He had plenty of time to practice on his old ship, so he knows how much work you need to put in to master a craft
Quite frankly...he lost count of how many hours he spent on that ship
But it was...a lot
Many years he worked
He plans to spend the rest of his undead life with you, so in his eyes he doesn’t mind spending hours upon hours teaching you
It’s something he loves, so he enjoys that he gets to spend time practicing with you

WAIT I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE MY REQUEST 😂
Could you do headcannons with the main 6 (or if I'm asking too much) the 3 boys for an MC who's really clumsy?
Clumsy is a favorite YA protag trait, but boy let me tell you in real life it's the worst. Accidental injuries, breaking things, falling (over nothing but your own feet) and looking dumb 😂
I'm so clumsy too like i have tripped over air and gotten so many bruises from doing silly things, like I punched a sink once accidentally XD
Main 6 with an MC who's really clumsy
- Gets kinda worried but not too worried since they can use magic to heal any injuries and use magic to help you be less clumsy
- Although he does basically baby-proof the shop since he is worried that you might do something that makes you die again and that is his biggest fear
- Thinks its quite funny and has to hold back laughs around other people when you trip up and she just calls you adorable and sweet, she just finds it so cute that you are clumsy
- However if you tell her that laughing at it upsets you then she will immediately stop and glare at anyone who dares to say anything about it that you don’t like
- Worried 24/7. Like he cannot stop babying you since he gets so worried about you and will pretty much hold your hand all the time to try and keep you safe
- He’s pretty clumsy too with his lanky legs but he will try to carry you around princess style everywhere since he gets so worried and scared about you
- Another one that gets super worried and will also try to carry you everywhere, which he can do with all his muscles and his massive height
- When he can’t watch over you, he makes sure that Inanna can stay with you and if you fall over he tells her to lie under you since she is soft and sturdy, therefore you won’t hurt yourself too much
- She teases you about it but if you get hurt she will help you while laughing and she loves it since it means she can take care of you
- If you don’t want her to laugh about it, she will do her best but sometimes she will slip up but she will instantly apologise and do her best to make it up to you
- He finds it hilarious and sometimes he will go a bit too far when teasing you but if you do tell him that it seriously upsets you he will try his best to stop but will slip up a few times. If he does slip up he will pout and eventually apologise
- If he knows it upsets you, and anyone else tries to make fun of you he will instantly glare them down and square up ready to fight them for making fun of you. You have to hold him back a lot since he gets very protective over you
