ok, i was in the shower thinking about the concept/plot for icip mv + my thoughts began to spiral as more layers of unhinged washed over me so if you'll allow me to just place some stupid plot predictions here... *cracks knuckles, clears throat*

so Käärijä is pregnant...

i don't know if that at least has been theorised already?, but that's what i'm mainly guessing the concept is.

with all the 'coming soon' hints in the staging and on insta? YEAH THE BIRTH OF A NEW KÄÄRIJÄ / A NEW ERA is coming soon, making room for new sounds, new styles and newer audiences.

also preparing nicely for the upcoming album, could be intro: icip?

so now we have that out of the way, here's my icip mv prediction

so my idea is that obviously they can't be TOO suggestive on yt (everyone booed,) so the way they 'make a baby' is to conceive through the art of TOUCHING HANDS. (so romantic) see below:

2. Which cryptid being do you believe in?

Ah this is hard to say tbh! I believe in a lot, but the main one would probably be aliens if you would consider them cryptids, if not then probably Big Foot and La Chupacabra. 6. What kind of day is it?

Relieving. My uncle's funeral was today and now I feel like I can properly grieve. I always dread funerals.

Probably watching the stars and drinking tea or something calming. Talking about our days or something that we enjoy :)

Hot. I like it steamy okay? I don't get it too hot, but enough that it helps with the kinks in my neck because my vertebrae are fucked up and heat feels really nice on my neck muscles lmao

9. How do you feel about chilly weather?

I love it! Fall is one of my favorite months because of the chilly weather. Hot chocolate is one of my favorite beverages, so it gives me an excuse to drink it!

Yes and no. All of my towels are my favorite. They're old and not too thick and fluffy. They're practically rags, but I hate buying new towels because they're always too fluffy and never absorb the water.

11. What's your take on spicy foods?

I love them! One of my favorite things to put on pizza is sriracha. Then one of my favorite salsas to put on about ANYTHING is my abuelitos homemade Chile. Which is basically just a bunch of jalapeños mashed up with like one tomato. Then he adds whatever else sounds good. Some spices, some other stuff out of his garden. Sometimes he adds Bell Peppers or Habenaros with it. It's always super good and super spicy. One of my best friends is actually my "Funny white-boy friend" because when my one tio passed all of my family came up from Texas. We all got together and I invited my friend over for supper. day 1, hw: 124lbs / sw: honey i don't remember i was like 12 years old / lw: 114lbs / cw: 114.6lbs / ugw: im not sure, it used to be 110lbs but since im so close to it, i think i should lower it. i know i can't go any lower than 112lbs because uh oRGAN FAILURE? but my disordered brain wants SKINNY / bmi: 17.3

day 2, i'm 5'8" and i really dislike it because i won't be able to weigh under 100lbs without dying

Sun: Do they want to get married and have kids?

↳ Zoro doesn't see the need for marriage. He doesn't romanticize weddings in his head– they're more like just an excuse to party in his eyes. And even then, he could get drunk anytime. He doesn't need to do a whole stuffy ceremony beforehand. So he's not super averse to the thought of getting married, he just thinks of them as maybe more trouble than they're worth. It's not like the government would recognize a marriage between pirates anyway, so he doesn't really see benefits to it.

↳ Sanji, on the other hand, has sort of mixed feelings about the idea of marriage. He genuinely does want to make that sort of promise one day, and in the past he has certainly fantasized about what his wedding would look like. He's a romantic at heart, and weddings are no exception. It was something he dreamed about intermittently throughout his life, but he never fully expected he'd get to have one.

↳ At the same time, he recognizes that a traditional wedding wouldn't really suit Zoro, and that Zoro isn't enthusiastic about the concept to begin with. Sanji may even mistake that lack of enthusiasm for lack of interest in marrying him, specifically. That's really where things get sticky– when Sanji mistakes Zoro's ambivalence toward the construct of marriage, for not caring/wanting to publicly commit to their relationship.

↳ It'd probably stew in Sanji's head for quite a bit before Zoro finally decides to prod it out of him. In the end, Zoro would acquiesce pretty easily. Again, he wasn't averse to it, just didn't particularly want or need it to happen.

↳ Sanji is genuinely shell-shocked for a moment– he was probably anticipating this conversation for a while and now he's all like It was seriously that easy?? What the hell– but then gets kinda faux-grumpy on him about how Zoro just executed the shittiest, most un-romantic proposal ever lmao. (But then again, the idea of Zoro getting down on one knee is just kinda weird to him, so maybe this was better.)

↳ He's definitely still turning his head away with a watery smile though. Anti-romantic proposal or not, he's over the moon that he'd get to fulfill that wedding dream with the man he loves.

↳ Zoro and Sanji's relationship is somewhat complicated. Their personalities are so polarized, and they butt heads often– but hardly ever seriously. They grew close through trust in the other's strength and loyalty to the same man; but I think what was also really important for them was that their constant arguing produced a transparency in how they felt about and viewed the other. Their sense of mutual respect was built with nasty words, harsh kicks, and sharp blades. But I think these lyrics in particular speak to a softer undercurrent that runs deep in their relationship.

↳ They're very strange in that they often raise each other's hackles rather than eroding each other's edges. They don't have too many super-soft moments together. I think Sanji struggles with vulnerability more than Zoro, although Sanji is more articulate with his feelings when he wants to be. Regardless, they make room for each other whenever the other person does open up. They're both protectors by instinct, and that of course extends to one another when their pasts are weighing heavy on their mind.

↳ Beyond that... Despite the song title, I don't think Zoro and Sanji would use the word "love" very often at all. Verbal "I love you"s are extremely rare. I always felt like their love would be something that is given and received silently between them; but still something that they come to understand as fixed and unwavering. For two people who are so different, their silent communication goes pretty far.

↳ In-universe, I don't really see them using terms such as boyfriend, partner, husband, etc either. If asked, they'd just go for the simple, "We're together." They don't necessarily feel the need to label what they are– again, they just understand that they're each other's person. They're close, in a way specific to themselves; and if anyone else is that curious, they could figure it out on their own time just by observing them for long enough.
