Note

Another fact that makes Tsumugi worse is getting Rantaro and Kaede killed, who are very popular characters in the fanbase. I like the reveal that the mastermind successfully framed a character and got them executed. But Tsumugi barely has a personality to support her character and ends being a boring character.

Y’know I just now realized that every DanganRonpa game has the mastermind cheating in some way.

DR1: Junko reused her sister’s corpse and gave a time limit to stop the trial early.

DR2: Doesn’t tell it’s a virtual world and how Junko will infect the bodies of the deceased.

DR3: Monokuma lies about their being one specific traitor and it’s just whoever is closest to the monitor watches a despair video and makes them kill themself.

V3: Tsumugi kills Rantaro because Kaede missed.

DRRB: Narumi sabotages Akira’s murder plan by switching the unconscious Kego with her deceased sibling and made them look like Kego.

DRA: Monokuma directly killed Yamato and made it look like Mikako did it

SDRA2: Mikado lied about giving poison to Iroha to use on Teruya’s food when he already poisoned the food himself.
