I am OBSESSED with your Desmond lives AU!! I want Shaun and Rebecca to be able to give Desmond all the hugs, I want Desmond to be able to choose to be an Assassin, to be able to help save the world again. Also, I am very curious about how you would resurrect Desmond, because I’ve had similar thoughts on such an AU, but I currently stick it near the end of Valhalla with the stuff that happens there. If you ever feel like expanding on it, I'd be super excited to see more!!!

first of all, AH THANK YOU!!! Yes those are ALL points that are very important to the Des Lives AU! Second of all, thank you so much for this ask in general!!! I was hoping someone would send an ask like this so I’d get an excuse to talk abt the AU more lmao XD!! I made this AU back in March last year, so there’s no Valhalla stuff in it, and it’s set right after/ during the Odyssey DLCs.

The long story short for my Desmond Rez (rezmond, if you will) is “shroud of eden, abstergo, and some Isu bullshit”. The long story long, however, is uh- you know what? I’m going to use this opportunity to explain the vague story I worked out last year -- but dw, I WILL get to the full ressurection explanation I thought through. However... I’m gonna have to tell the story in smaller parts because I’m lazy and can’t be bothered to write the whole thing out right now. So rez comes later and not in this post.

also uh-- before we start: I’m going to apologise for like… everything about the way I wrote this. It’s sort-of half fic, half that-way-your-friends-colloquially-tell-stories-that-you-can’t-keep-up-with. Mainly the latter. If you can make sense of this babbling, well done.

Anyways, without further ado, welcome to:

POTES TRIES TO EXPLAIN HER DESMOND (SORTA) LIVES AU: PART ONE

On the 21st of December 2012, Desmond Miles dies.

It’s not for nothing -- his sacrifice saves the entire world from a solar flare -- but he is dead. big ripz. The Assassins, his family, do not manage to recover his body. Abstergo gets it first. The Assassins hold a funeral as best they can. They mourn (all in their own ways), they keep fighting (for his memory), and they try to move on (they can’t).

On the 21st of December 2012, Desmond Miles died -- so when he shows up in a city in October 2018, almost 6 years later, it’s a bit of a shock for everyone. What’s even more of a shock is the fact he’s glowing like an Isu and has some abilities he DEFINITELY didn’t have when he died.

So Desmond wakes up in the middle of some city in he doesn’t know where (yeah ok i just never really worked out where the secret lab would be), with 1. no idea of how he got there and 2. no idea why his arms are glowing like that. He doesn’t get much time to think about it because then there’re a load of Abstergo goons with guns surrounding him. Des may have no idea what’s happening, but he knows one thing: when u see an Abstergo, it’s on sight. So he’s fighting them -- which is admittedly not fun or easy when you’re in the middle of a road and only have your fists as weapons. It’s not going well and then someone definitely manages to shoot Desmond which is very bad -- but then Des feels some very weird (but not unfamiliar) feeling and when he looks up from the bullet wound, every one of the Abstergos are on the floor???? He doesn’t think to check if they’re dead, just legs it out of there lmao.

Elsewhere, in an Assassin safehouse in an undisclosed location (can you tell I just didn’t think about the geography of anything), Mr Shaun Hastings is chilling on a balcony after a mission well done. Good for him. Then Rebecca Crane (queen ilu) yells “Shaun?” from inside.

“Rebecca?”

“Come inside. Now.”

Shaun immediately does so because he assumes it’s important or they’re under threat. “What happened? Have we been compromised?”

Rebecca doesn’t answer.

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Shaun says, mostly joking and with a little smirk -- though Becs looks spooked.

“Desmond’s alive.”

Shaun’s not smirking anymore. “What?”

“Desmond’s... he’s alive.”

“What are you talking about? Are you high?” he’s totally about to look at her eyes to see if they’re all dilated and druggy.

“No Shaun, I mean it!” Becs harshly shoves her tablet into his hands.

Shaun doesn’t really know what he’s expecting to see when he looks down at the screen. What he’s not really expecting to see is Desmond Miles, who’s been dead for six years, fighting a load of Abstergo people -- while lined in Isu markings (also he’s not wearing a shirt forgot got to mention). ??? But wtf??!?! Desmond’s dead. That’s...

“It’s security camera footage from [the city]... About two hours ago.” Rebecca then swipes through more footage with shaky hands and explains that Des very violently burst out of an Abstergo facility in the city with glowing eyes and light leaking out of him (almost like an Apple of Eden). Then the glowing eyes and shining lights shuts off abruptly and Des is standing in the middle of the road looking very confused at his precursor-ass arms and chest. But Shaun is barely listening to what she’s saying and barely even looking at the screen.

“Where did you get this?” Shaun asks with a hollow voice, not looking up.

“The Initiates.” (bc who else)

Shaun looks at it again, then at Rebecca, and he’s mildly aware of the fact he’s slightly tearing up; “That’s fake. That can’t be him. He’s dead, Becs. We both saw the…” They both saw the autopsy footage the ac4 researcher got from Abstergo -- or at least, tried to watch it; they shut it off as soon as Shaun ran to the bathroom to throw up and Rebecca quickly joined him. They spent the rest of that night crying and drinking way too much.

“He died.” Shaun concludes firmly.

And so Becs is all like “yeah but what if he didn’t?? We need to find him. We need to investigate this.” There’s a determination in her eyes and Shaun knows he’s not going to be able to convince her to drop this -- not that he would. Desmond might be alive, and there is no way they’re going to leave him again.

They’re both standing there in pure shock and confusion, not saying anything.

Rebecca’s comm device lights up and starts buzzing, snapping them out of their general ????-ness. Becs goes to her desk to grab it, glances at the caller id and then shows it to Shaun. It’s William Miles.

The two of them share a Look. They know what he’s calling about -- what else would it be? There’s a stilted moment of neither of them doing anything before Rebecca finally accepts the call. “William?”

“How quickly can you and Shaun get to [city]?” William sounds shaken -- probably the same way Rebecca and Shaun are -- which is a very weird way to hear the Mentor of the Brotherhood sound. He’s seen the footage, hasn’t he?

“In a few hours,” Rebecca replies.

“Good. You need to get there as soon as possible.”

Everyone’s silent for a few moments.

“Is this about Desmond?” Rebecca asks. Dumb question.

There’s a pause. “You’ll be briefed on the ground.” And then he hangs up before Shaun or Rebecca can yell at him.

This is all moving very fast. Shaun and Rebecca share another look. Guess they’re going to [city]. ???

Fast forward several hours and Rebecca and Shaun are in The City [might just have to make the city london bc it’s the one city i actually know well -- however for plot reasons we’ll see later, a swiss city might be better… moving on!]. They get to an assassin base and meet up with Galina Voronina and 2 local assassins. Idk if you’ve read the comics, but to sum things up quickly, Galina and her team were investigating and then ended Project Phoenix -- so Galina now really wants to find out if the whole Desmond thing has anything to do with that.

Galina also wants to help Shaun and Rebecca get their friend back. They’re her friends, but equally she just lost one of her teammates to Abstergo (while ending Phoenix like 2 months ago, in the comics) and is uh- idk how to say it but she wants to help Shaun & Becs who have a chance to get their lost teammate back.

What follows is cool gang-gang trying to track down any trace of Desmond. You’d think it wouldn’t be hard to find a person who literally glows, but Desmond’s had centuries of Assassin training and knows how to hide lol.. which is making the Assassins’ job harder lol.

What’s making it even harder is the Assassins know they have to be quick because they know Abstergo is gonna be looking for Desmond too -- and they have way more resources and stuff. That being said, they’re also currently dealing with the fact one of their building and a decent amount of their guards just got absolutely mullered by weird-glowing-desmond.

The third issue with their entire thing is that they have no idea what they’re going to find when they find Desmond -- or if he even is Desmond. Is he going to be the man they knew but with weird powers? an Abstergo isu-clone? evil? they don’t know, and so they know they’ve got to be wary with him.

The Assassin gang spend some time (a couple of days at the very most) trying to track Desmond down. Rebecca is using all the tech she can get her hacker mitts on to find a trace of him and equally throw Abstergo off Des’ trail.

Soon enough, they get a solid lead -- don’t ask for the specifics, i don’t know them. But they get a lead, and it winds them up in an abandoned apartment building or also abandoned building site or something (a building in the city where there aren’t any people, basically).

Galina scans the place with Eagle Vision and she’s like “There is something very strange about this place.” (someone?) But she doesn’t see a person-shape anywhere. The 5 of them are hopeful but somewhat on edge.

They go about searching for any sign of Desmond. Galina’s pretty sure her Eagle Vision is just… Messing Up A Lot lol. Like something’s trying to heck with it. So she’s not quite sure it’s working correctly when a load of red figures appear somewhere below them.

She becomes a lot more sure when the red figures come into sight and START SHOOTING AT THEM! IT’S ABSTERGO!! CRAP! they found them!!

The assassins get down and a really cool fight scene w them vs the Abstergos in the building/ building site starts playing out. Woo Shaun and Rebecca electro-hidden-blade moments!! The fight splits the squad up and Shaun and Rebecca are away from Galina & the others -- but they dispatch the Abstergo guards near them.

They’re about to radio in that they’re all okay/ check if Galina & co are also good when they hear a slightly-too-loud footstep. They whip around to see an Abstergo guard aiming right at them, too far for either of them to get him before he shoots them. crap crap crap.

They would have been shot -- if someone hadn’t come up behind the Abstergo guard and snapped his neck (ouch).

The Abstergo drops to the ground, revealing the person who saved them and… Shaun and Rebecca stare in shock.

They’re both looking at Desmond Miles.

Desmond Miles, who is very much alive (and wearing a hoodie that is 100% stolen). And… with a load of glowing yellow lines on his face. But it’s Desmond -- it’s Desmond for sure. Holy shit.

Desmond doesn’t seem so shocked, only relieved to see them. Then his expression turns into serious confusion;

“What the fuck is happening?”

Boss Ghost OC: Eugène 'Pendulum' Powers

IN GAME:

- 300 hp, cycles through 4 main attacks

- WALLOP: His pocket watch/yo-yo grows in size and he straight up smacks Luigi with it

- SLEEP SPELL: an avoidable attack, he spins his yo-yo which sends a beam out towards Luigi. If hit he is put to sleep long enough for Eugène to smack him with a yo-yo. Luigi takes damage and wakes up

- INVERSION SPELL: Eugène does some weird hypnotist bullshit which causes your controls to be inverted (up=down, blow=suck etc) for a few seconds. This is a minor inconvenience that could leave you vulnerable to another attack. You cannot avoid this

- SWIRLY TORNADO: Eugène himself spins around and aims for Luigi. He's the only ghost that can spin like this and not get dizzy lol. You HAVE TO throw something at him while he's spinning like this to catch him off guard and be able to strobulb him to catch him. You do this 2 or 3 times u know the drill

STORY/CHARACTER WISE:

- Eugène is a stage hypnotist! He looks evil but really he's super sweet, he just wants to make others smile and entertain the world through his talents

- He saw one hypnotist show when he was younger and it was the funniest shit he ever seen basically. He wanted to make others laugh like that too, which led him down a rabbit hole of research into this stuff

- His powers only work if you're willing to play along, and he can't make you do anything that your mind doesn't want to do so adhjf dw he can't just make anyone do anything yknow that'd be mean. He could easily lull u to sleep tho.

- This mans has a major sweet tooth. He especially loves treats with swirls in them (cinnamon rolls, peppermints, etc)

- late 20's early 30's age wise? He probably also has such soothing voice,,, Most likely performs shows on the triplets floor on scheduled days of the week. Also he knows a lot of cool and epic yo-yo trick that he practices too. Also probably a pro at puppeteering a worm on a string

i think it's probably an accumulation of similar incidents that finally get yao banned from the house lol the third time they end up in trouble yao is kicked out and BANNED from coming back. ever. no matter how mournful aditya looks. no. so he just has to hang out with yao at the park i guess, or at yao's own house. yao's neighbours are greatly saddened by this development but aditya's neighbours heave a sigh of relief

but also imagine indus and nyo china meeting... indus being like "you have done a TERRIBLE job of raising this child he has engaged in so much property destruction!! do you know how much time and resources i need to repair relations with my neighbours now??" and nyo china being like "nah he's a good child look at his acads also ill give you money dw"

also YES she'd bring all sort of cool stuff and stores from around the world for yao and yao probably finds that so much fun... also lmao she probably thinks 1 healthy meal a day is sufficient (no) thank goodness yao is Independent™

parent teacher meetings are going to be so terrifying omg like other parents will try and passive-aggressively talk about the stuff yao has done and she'll be like "eh whatever idc your kid is just not powerful enough" and when the teacher brings up yao's behaviour issues she's just going to be like "he's getting 100s for math even though he hates it i think he's a great child he'll be fine" lmaoooo

ASDLKFDS YEAH poor Indus though.. her searches are such a mood... I feel like she would be pretty successful at getting back in her neighbors’ good books though, especially after booting Yao out lol

That sounds good! (when Aditya tells Yao, he doesn't look at all disappointed and says point blank "just sneak me in, nobody will know". Indus chucks him out by the ear when she finds out and prevents Aditya ever going to visit Yao's house again. Aditya becomes much more studious after this. "I need to go to the library today to do research for history/social studies! I need to stay after school for extra help! I'm going to the string recital today because [insert friend here] is playing!" There is no history project, no extra help session, and no string recital. He is actually just going to Yao's house.) "Yao's neighbors are greatly saddened by this development" THEY SURE WILL BE lmao half the time nyo china is not home and the other half she just gives them free reign to do whatever and just patches their destruction up with money. I think she would like India; he's a little more sunshiney and talkative but just as menacing as Yao sometimes so she can handle it lol.

Also omg the antagonism. At their first meeting Indus goes "oh that's who's been raising Yao this whole time? Imma go chew her out right now brb" also sksksksk THE MONEY... nyo China is truly a pragmatist. Money solves all problems lol

And yeah cool tourist merchandise haha. I think their whole dynamic is just "we kind of got pushed together randomly but it's ok". Yao likes nyo china because she is a moneybag, gives him cool stuff, and lets him do pretty much whatever he wants (fine by him). Nyo China is fine with handling Yao because she doesn't need to do anything for him lol. Mutually beneficial relationship (for those two only. Everyone else suffers.)

Also parent-teacher meetings... the palpable tension in the room lol. I love that everyone is giving the most blatant hints to nyo China that her child is a borderline delinquent and she's like "well if my child is a delinquent your children should get on his level." F in the chat. Nyo China takes one look at Yao's report card, sees the 100s (or A+s) in like every class, and is content. She does not read nor care about the teacher's comments at the bottom that say "mischief child, undisciplined, has been to detention 12 times already, uncooperative and does not like to follow directions. Has few friends or acquaintances, and often gets into disagreements with peers that usually result in physical altercations. Please talk to Wang Yao about his actions at school and discuss how he can improve his behavior." Nyo China just logics it out with "see, these numbers are objective. The teacher's comments are not, and I only deal with facts. Therefore you're totally ok in my book as long as you keep doing well in class." RIP Wang Yao's teacher lol

Ok, disclaimer that I know very little of how weather works in other countries, BUT, I saw the ask about Bastet getting fucked up by cold weather if he's not prepared and appropriately dressed and I kept thinking: where I live, it's actually very common to go from 35°C to 15°C in the same day with no warning (I can't do Fahrenheit, sorry) and then I thought of Bastet being caught in cold weather like this =B

I mean I'm not sure how weather works in Vancouver either, but same stuff happens in middle parts of Iran as well.

(I can't do Fahrenheit either lol, dw)

He'd panic oh my god! Depending how far into the recovery he is, he might have full-on panic attack and backslide.

I’m going to combine and put everything under a cut.

1. What’s your favourite fic you’ve ever written, and why?

Don’t Want Shelter because it’s the first fic I put emotional effort into. That universe, that Harry and Louis, all of it are very vivid and alive in my head. I love them.

2. Pick three words that you think describe your works overall.

Long ass sentences 👀

3. How long does it take you to write a fic?

Depends. Writing doesn’t usually take me long but editing does.

4. What’s the hardest thing about writing?

Realizing that I’m probably never going to write some of the ideas I have

5. Do you listen to music or anything while you write? What’s normal for you when you write?

I don’t usually, but sometimes. Idk that I have a normal. I really prefer to be alone and quiet.

6. How do you come up with titles for your fics?

Songs usually. Sometimes they just come to me though.

7. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a new writer?

Get a beta. But not just a beta. Get someone who can talk fic/plot/story with you as well.

8. How important do you think tags are when you are publishing a fic?

Very in some ways, no at all in others. I tag mainly for readers so they know enough about the fic to decide whether or not to read. I don’t tag specific sex stuff usually though every now and then I’ll throw in ‘anal fingering’ just to mix it up. I don’t tag who tops/bottoms. I do tag with fic reccers in mind thanks to B’s @nottooldforthisship instructions!

9. Do you write for fests/exchanges? If so, do you enjoy them? If not, why not?!

I have and I do but not often. I like running them and I have done exchanges in the past but it’s not really my thing to write for them. Is that weird? I feel like it is but ehhh

10. Which work of yours are you most proud of and why?

11. What’s next for you?

Currently working on a short pwp hiccup fic

I have not! But more in a ehhhh I’m not too bothered way. I’ve definitely read WIPs that weren’t completed but idk I guess I love on quickly lol

2. Speaking of WIPs, do you like writing (or reading) them? Why or why not?

I don’t write them. As in even my fics that have been posted as WIPs (DWS and HFL) we’re completely finished aside from some editing before I started posting. I change too much when I write. That padlock in TSHU? Thought of it at the end and went back to add it to the beginning.

I will sometimes read a WIP but not often. Mainly because I don’t remember anything between updates

3. Are you a dialogue person? An inner-monologue person? A heavily descriptive scene-setter?

I think I’m gonna pass? I literally have no idea. I don’t think I heavily describe scenes but I guess that depends on the scene? This is when I send for help and ask Nic

4. Is there a scene from a fic you’ve read that you wished you’d written/thought of first?

Not really

5. Would you rather read a 150k angsty fic, or a 10k fluffy one-shot?

Sometimes smut scenes are fun to write. Especially if there’s something different about it. Sometimes I have to be in the mood. Sometimes I feel like I need to shower after lolll

Neither. I don’t read nearly as much as I used to. I’m nowhere near caught up on Big Bang.

Oh wow. Idk! I could actually figure it out since I track my words per day. When I’m steadily writing, I’d say 10k a week is average? Probably more tbh

“You can stay, Harry.” Louis shoves his hands in the pockets of his faded jeans and turns to glance at Harry, who’s walking beside him. He hiccups and groans, kicking his foot out and stomping. “Fuck me, man. This sucks.”

i think so but tbh i can’t remember lol

i’m a linear writer, but i will skip over parts of a scene like....... i’ll write a bunch of dialogue with nothing around it and fill in later

always always always. i would literally not write if i couldn’t have a beta lol

huh idk. i’m a fast writer, but i’d say like probably 1.5k a day is average for me?

i’m the worst lol i tried to organize my google docs and that lasted like a week

we were hanging at my parents’ house during a hurricane when they had power and we didn’t, and i was bored af and i think nic had just recently published her first fic and i was like....... huh i wonder if i can do that?

nic’s 5 times fic called fire and ice! i remember reading it and thinking WOOHOO PWP!!!! and then crying because she snuck all these FEELINGS in. so it made me think about writing in a different way, i guess. it can be fun and emo lol

Nono, got it, it's just that somehow I can see c taking some petty petty pleasure in effing someone up not only for their strategy but lowkey also for something they've never even mentioned lol

yeah chishiya being petty as shit is one of my favorite things abt this whole series

yeah i rlly do wish they had explored chishiya and kuina relationship more bc their dynamic was so interesting i just fjdjdjd

idk the show seems to be sticking to the manga pretty well for how much it’s jumping around (i literally finished it last night lmao if u didn’t see on my blog) bc like arisu got the video explaining things in the show as he did in the manga (except it was from someone else) and he got to know how the dealer thing worked even tho he didn’t go there in person

ok to start things off i headcanon chishiya as aroace, arisu and usagi as bi and kuina as pan. and so we canonically know chishiya took an interest in arisu (and that other guy but we know what happened to him) and then also chishiya and kuina’s dynamic sometimes got kinda flirty so i was like hmmm. and then we know usagi and arisu are obviously together and have feelings for each other. and then sometimes when kuina and usagi would interact it would make me go hhmmm and so i ended up with this

chishiya is in a queerplatonic relationship with arisu and kuina who in turn are both dating usagi and so yeah ig it’s not rlly that intricate now that i say it outside my head lmao

ahhh tysm!! i finished my draft last night and it only needed to be 5 pages at most ans my was 13 🙈 i mean the works cited took up a whole page but like anyways at least i’ll only have to edit for the next month before it’s due

Carnival Date with Monsta X

Shownu

Pretty quiet and shy throughout the whole day

But he’ll do the little things like holding your hand, keeping your things (bag, jacket, etc)

Would probably take random, awkward selfies with you even if you’re not looking

Still holds your hand and stuff on the rides you go on

King of winning all the prizes, he’ll win you so many stuffed toys from the carnival games including a giant one or two

Heck parents might even ask him to win a toy for their kids and he totally would and it’s super cute to watch him so you don’t mind

So you might end up spending more time around the games and food

Buys tons of food and snacks for you guys but encourages you to eat well

“But Shownu, there are still more rides to go on?? And it’s not exactly eating well if we’re only eating junk food hehe”

Even if you have to do most of the talking, he’ll always listen and remember what you say regardless of what you’re telling him and how loud your surroundings may be

Wonho

You’ll somehow manage to convince him to go on the highest rides (like the Hellevator, Drop Zone, Atmosfear) but when the ride starts to bring you guys up he’ll start crying

When the ride actually starts to move and such like dropping down he’ll probably be laughing and shouting really happily the shift is so quick

Totally tries to flex and such when you guys play the games (especially that strength testing game), might even flirt with a worker in attempt to get a discount or prize

He’ll make the biggest deal out of winning a prize, “Oh my GOSH look at this Eevee doll I just won!! It’s so CUTE and SMALL and FLUFFY!!!!!”

But if he’s playing one of those multiplayer games where only one player gets the prize, he’ll give his prize up to another kid that plays with him if he wins

Never lets go of your hand which is cute at first, but the moment he sees a ride he wants to go on the next thing you know you’re being pulled around at the speed of light

He’ll buy food “for you” but if you look back at him after 0.008 seconds he’s engulfing the cotton candy

If you go in the haunted house with him he’ll probably try and scare you from behind by poking you etc, but the moment he feels something or gets spooked he’ll actually run so fast and far (he’s still going to come back to you dw)

Will try to stay in the carnival for as long as you guys can, might hide behind rides and such even when all the guests are leaving and rides are being locked up for the day

But you guys would eventually get caught and… let’s just say you might not have any more dates at that carnival anymore

Minhyuk

Vows that he’ll go on ALL the rides with you

And by all he means all, including the scariest rides and all of the children rides

So extra he probably screams on every ride regardless of the intensity etc (that moving tea cup ride meant for kids? He’ll still be screaming at the top of his lungs)

Makes faces at the camera if a ride has them

Will buy the prints of those photos taken on rides, especally if you look “funny”

Super good with time management so you guys will manage to go on the most popular rides early, before they have all of their huge line-ups (he probably did his research in advance!)

You’ll even manage to get those temporary tattoos and get cute and sparkly matching ones

Tries to win you prizes at games but wins exactly 0 stuffies

But he’s not discouraged about it, he’ll just say “I know a place where we can get guaranteed prizes!” and he’ll just take you to the little gatcha machines lol so you guys end up with a bunch of random but cute keychains and little toys

Buys food for you too but doesn’t get separate ones, he insists you share everything! So drinks, cotton candy, ice cream, fries etc

Kihyun

Will buy you tons of food to share, always in the largest sizes too

He’d ask which game you’d want to play and exactly which prize you want

Would even try and win a prize for you himself if you really wanted it

He’d be like “I got this” but he’d spend SO much money trying but to no avail,,,

So he’d just buy the prize for you instead

And he’d spend so much money overall for you but he doesn’t mind, he might make jokes about it (“my wallet’s going to be empty because of you!!!”) but he doesn’t mean it

When you guys are in line for a ride he’ll watch the batches that ride it before you guys and comment about it too (“Whoa that goes faster than I thought it would… does it really turn like that? Wait, don’t tell me it… yep… ah, it loops upside down…”

Cares about you lots he’ll always be checking in with you, asking if you’re hungry or if you need to use the washroom

He’ll ask you if you’re nervous or something when a ride starts, he’ll be super calm and reassuring when you are but the moment he hears the sound of the ride starting he’ll probably scream

Asks to play stuff like bumper cars because it’ll be a “cute couple experience”, but when you guys actually play he’s so aggressive and competitive

Hyungwon

Accidentally falls asleep if a line up for a ride is too long

If it’s way too long, he’ll somehow convince you to bail no matter how far you are in the line

He’d say he has a “better alternative” but really he’d just take you to all the kiddie rides because they have no line ups

But it’s actually pretty fun, especially when you guys are the only ones on the ride

Other than those rides he would probably convince you to go to the magic mirror house or giant slides

He’d also encourage you to go to the arcade and play a bunch of games

Wants to gets stuffies but tells you that if you want one you have to win it yourself, says every stuffy he wins personally will be another addition to the collection on his bed

He’d win SO MANY but would still sacrifice a few for you later on

Would pick a fight either with a kid or a staff if he loses a game he thinks he won, “What do you mean that child won this round? I clearly got more points, I should be getting that stuffed bear not her??”

Claims he can even win something from the claw machine but won’t and will go on and on about how it’s rigged (it totally is though)

Jooheon

You’d have trouble choosing what rides to go on first, so he’d suggest to line up for the biggest and scariest ones

But even when you’re just in line he’ll probably watch what the ride and see what it actually does and will totally scream

“ON SECOND THOUGHT I DONT WANT TO RIDE THIS ROLLERCOASTER?? Let’s go on that one instead??”

“Jooheon that one is for little kids”

But he’ll probably do the biggest pouty face and throw in some aegyo to convince you

Goes on and on about how you two should make funny faces at the kiddie roller coaster’s camera

But when you two actually get to that point he’ll probably be too pre-occupied with screaming or covering his eyes because it’s at a drop

You guys keep sneaking pictures of eachother without the other knowing, like you’ll take a few of him while he’s focused on the fries he’s eating and he’ll take pics of you when you’re watching a ride

Plays a few of the carnival games too but when he wins a cute stuffed toy you’ll be like “thanks Jooheon!” but he’d be so confused at first,,, like he won it for himself but ok (he’d totally give it to you anyways)

It would take so much effort to convince him into going in the haunted house… and it’s really difficult to get through it with that scared little bean… “Jooheon what’s that sound?” “Oh sorry I was just rapping under my breath”

I.M

Thinks that “win a free iPad!” game is totally legit and will spend a good amount of time playing it

But will always follow what you say otherwise, you basically hold hands with him and lead him to wherever you want to go

Pretty playful and giggly when you guys wait to go on rides

But when you’re on a ride he’s somehow able to remain so emotionless and pokerfaced

Would play tons of games and have a little contest with you to see who can win the most prizes

Challenges you to every game in the arcade

“i can’t believe you beat me in my specialty… dance dance revolution… let’s settle this in streetfighter, my second specialty”

Wins so many tokens he basically has enough to buy a nerdy, expensive prize with them

Takes tons of pictures with you, getting that couple aesthetic™

But some of the pictures he takes of you will be super unflattering, especially if he sneaks pics of you when you guys are on a ride
