a couple months back i was fully enraptured by a few particular red-toned photos Elliott Ingham took and subsequently hyperfixated on painting something Carrie-esque based on it.

after painting about 3/4 of it i got a little into my own head about it because, i dunno, maybe it's a little weird conceptually? but i revisited it recently and decided i'm still into it lol. here's my "hear me out" vision board

idk if im just missing it completely but i feel like the way patrick openly laughs when pete is trying to make him laugh is a pretty new thing - like during pre h and even early post h patrick obviously still found pete extremely funny but it was kind of reserved to a small giggle and a knowing look at pete (at least during the interviews) def not the head thrown back laughter we see now. idkkk its just really sweet to me to see how patrick has settled so much into his relationship w pete over the years and how he slowly wants to share that more publicly asw.

Patrick really has settled into it so much. He's so not afraid to show it but I think more for Pete than for us, like, I will never have him doubt how much I appreciate having him around.

I do think, though, that there was this time right after they got back together after hiatus where Patrick would laugh, like, extravagantly at any little joke Pete would say, like, clapping his hands together in glee, doubled over with joy, and I say this just because a couple of times I have watched that reaction and said fondly to myself, He is not that funny, Patrick, lord, how much you clearly love him lol
