Missed You {Sakata Gintoki}

Pairing: Gintoki Sakata x fem!reader

Gintoki always thought he appreciated you. As it turned out, after one week of you being gone to help Katsura with some business, he did appreciate you but not enough. Kagura and Shinpachi behaved way better with you around, that Ayame was not around... his life in general was much easier.

Before he could even ask Otose about what was going on, the old woman walked away, a knowing smile on her face.

With a hand on his wooden sword and the other scratching the top of his head, Gintoki signalled Shinpachi to open the door of the Odd Jobs.

"Gin!" Ayame's attention drifted to him, leaving an ever angrier Kagura behind.

"No wonder she was yelling..." Shinpachi sighed and walked in.

"Gin-chan..." The young girl approached him pouting and Gintoki looked down, keeping Ayame in arm's length from hugging him. "She came here shouting and..." Kagura looked around before motioning him to lean over so she could whisper in his ear. He gladly did. "She's sleeping."

Gintoki's eyes widened despite him trying to show as little emotion as possible. He tried to ignore the way his heart began beating faster, the way the palms of his hands began sweating. In front of Kagura and Shinpachi he wanted to be the cool Gintoki he always was -mostly to save himself from their teasing.

But in a matter of seconds he was in his room. He couldn't help but wonder if he would ever be able to get used to this feeling. He hoped the answer was yes and he hoped that if you ever happened to leave again, coming back tired, he wouldn't have to wake you up. You looked so peaceful sleeping but he just.... he had to listen to your voice, search for any injuries because that idiot Katsura had never told him what kind of job he needed you for.

"Gintoki?" You whispered, your eyes fluttering open and he swore his breathing stopped.

Gintoki is not someone who is good with expressing his feelings. He knows that better than anyone and he won't try to change it. So he hoped his tight hug, the way he was clenching onto the back of your shirt -technically his shirt, since you were wearing the clothes he usually wears to sleep- would count the same as him saying that he missed you. Because he had. He had missed you so much and he just didn't know what to say.

So he hoped that was enough.

A/n: ngl all of a sudden I had all those Gintoki requests, I don't even know why but I love them and hopefully I'll finally finish Gintama just so I can give you guys more detailed scenarios. Thank you for requesting and I hope you like it!

Pairing: Gintoki Sakata x reader

Trigger warnings: none

When you walked into Odd Jobs that afternoon you could feel that there was tension in the atmosphere. Kagura was oddly silent, Sinpachi was constantly side eyeing Gintoki and your boyfriend eyes kept travelling back and forth between the two kids. They didn't even notice you walking in.

Half an hour later and the situation was still the same: none of them had said a word. You hadn't spoken either, curious to see where this would go but you had come there so you wouldn't be alone in your own apartment and yet thing were almost the same.

"Break up with him." You snapped out of the daydreaming state you were in, your eyes widening as soon as you heard Kagura's words. Your first instinct was to look at Gin whose eyes had now narrowed, glaring at Kagura.

Gintoki didn't say a word and just as you were about to ask for an explanation, Shinpachi spoke. "He eats his boogers." Both him and Kagura had this cold and serious voice.

"I've never eaten them." Gin shouted at the boy, shooting up from the couch.

"You have tasted them!"

"That I have..." He sighed as he sat back down.

There was no explanation needed. Though Shinpachi actually provided you with one, with Kagura standing still beside him sporadically nodding. The two kids made it their point that they never meant any harm and that they were simply shocked -Kagura tried to disagree however- that someone as different from Gintoki as you, was dating their boss.

Gintoki tried to dismiss them in the beginning, saying that they were lying purely because you were in front and that they actually wanted to see him miserable and single, masturbating for the rest of his lonely life (their words, not his).

"I think you are all overreacting just a little." You rubbed your eyes, trying to hold back a yawn when the debate finally ended. "I am not breaking up with him and Gin... they are just shocked."

"She is." Shinpachi and Kagura said in one voice.
